I like to have the carpets in my home cleaned at least twice a year. I have three children and a puppy so my carpets take a beating. Cleaning helps to remove the excess materials, stains, odors, etc. I have used a few companies in the past and I will admit it can be hard to find a good company. I recently used Mill City Cleaning and felt inclined to share my experience because it might help out a few other people. In my opinion, most of the companies are very similar in the cleaning service they provide. One thing that was different with Mill City is that they did not try to upsell me on other services. This has been common among the other companies and not a pleasure to deal with. I understand that upselling is a big part of business but I really appreciated that they listened to me and my immediate needs. Sometimes it takes quality service on the need at hand before a consumer is interested in other products. The rep showed up on time and asked me to show him the rooms (and staircase) that he would be cleaning. After a quick walk through, he asked if I had any other questions and then promptly began the cleaning process. It only took a few hours to clean and my carpets looked great. Before he left, I made sure to give him a tip and asked him a bit more about the company. He told me that they are local and have been in business for about 10 years. After looking at their website, I see that they offer several other services like office cleaning and window washing. I don't know if it is because they are local and not a huge corporation but I definitely felt at ease with their service and more importantly my carpets were cleaned quickly, thoroughly, and professionally. I can't vouch for their other services although I'm guessing the experience would be similar to mine-- I definitely recommend their carpet cleaning! Thank you Mill City!
