I'd love to give this company more stars for the wonderful woman who was always on my cleaning team…read more(Vania) -- but I just can't let the company take credit for one good cleaner. If you hire Willow Maids to clean your house, you'd better be sure you have ALL the receipts for ANYTHING you've purchased in your home that you care about -- these cleaners are very rough in their handling. In the short time I used this company for bi-weekly cleanings, they broke a ceramic box in my bathroom, the handle on the dishwasher, the ceiling "cover" on the ceiling fan unit; I noticed many times that my antique cameras were roughly placed back (they are "set up" for display and their "stands" would be knocked over), and I ended up having to HIDE my glass statues from my travels because they broke the pièce de résistance: a hand-blown glass statue that I purchased while on vacation in Rome. As in, Italy. OH, and then they tried to HIDE the fact by putting it back "together" so it looked as if it weren't broken!!! Do you know what I got in "payment" for said priceless item that can't be replaced? 3 "free" cleanings and some super-strength industrial glue to "fix" it that has a TON of warnings (I still haven't used it to fix the piece because I'm afraid of chemical burns or growing a second head from using it in an unventilated area). Not only that -- and yes, I STILL kept using Willow Maids after all that because I liked Vania so much -- but the cleaning wasn't all that great. In fact, after they broke the ceramic box, I found sharp shards of it in my carpet TWO DAYS LATER. Obviously not great with vacuuming... ...I stressed the importance of dusting when I first hired them -- the owner assured me they'd be thorough. Well, at first they were, but as team members changed and the revolving door started swinging, the dusting and attention to detail started to slide. I'd find entire areas where they had not only NOT done a good job; they hadn't dusted at all! Shame on me for keeping this shoddy company after all this happened. That's my fault. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I called to see about reimbursement for the ceramic box they'd broken -- I bought it at Target YEARS ago, and of course it was discontinued. When I researched a comparable replacement from the same design company/manufacturer, it came to about $35.00. Well, holy hell broke loose when I suggested that amount to the owner, who told me he'd give me $9.99 and not a penny more -- since that was the last findable price for that exact piece online (again, NOT manufactured anymore; that price was a discount/liquidation price). When I expressed my disappointment and mentioned other things that were going wrong with the cleanings, he cut me off rudely and basically insinuated that I was trying to get money out of him -- as if this were my ruse, that I "broke" things and then blamed the cleaning people! I fired him just as HE was "firing me" -- as I was asking if I still would get my $9.99 refund he HUNG UP ON ME. So, yeah. Long story short: don't hire Willow Maids.

Very disappointed in Willow Maids. 2 stars because they were able to come on short notice. I called…read moreand spoke to the owner for just over 30 minutes when making my appointment. We went over how dirty my cabinets were, the baseboards, how many cobwebs in the house, etc. I was super excited about the detail. I mentioned that the last time the house was professionally cleaned it took about 2.5 hours. He said something about how other companies maybe aren't as thorough as Willow Maids. I also explained that we have 2 pets so there would be pet hair to vacuum and I was assured that wouldn't be an issue since they have such great vacuums. I bought a deal for 4 hours for $99 - I only needed the main rooms - kitchen, bathroom, living room and dining room - cleaned. I expected that they'd be able to do a super deep clean since they had 4 hours and I didn't need the whole house cleaned. I want to note that I pre-cleaned the house so that they would have more time to focus on the details - like baseboards, dusting, etc. Cleaning day comes after 3 emails reminding me of my appointment. 3 cleaners show up without calling first like they stated they would. I work from home and was on a call so I had to run out and meet them and let them know I only needed the few rooms done and that I'd be available if they had questions. Just over an hour later they tell me they are finished. I mention that it was quick and I tipped them as they were on their way out the door. After they left I looked around and was immediately disappointed. They did not wipe the baseboards, did not move the ottoman to clean behind it, there was still dust on the lamps and the light fixtures in the bathroom. There was still dirt in the bathroom floor corners and I couldn't tell if they washed the shower wall or the fixtures because there were still water spots on them and they were not "shined" like their website said it would be. They also did not wipe the tile wall next to the toilet. I immediately wrote an email to the company expressing my disappointment. I received a call not long after from the owner, the same person I talked to to make my appointment. He looked at the GPS and noted that I did not get my 4 hours cleaning time so he would refund me for the time I did not get. He also mentioned that the cleaners noted I had a lot of pet hair and I also had 2 rooms closed off that I didn't need cleaned. The pet hair was not an issue, it was everything else they missed. Plus I had already given them this information when I made my appointment. I explained how I didn't think they cleaned the shower walls and he went on and on about hard water and how it might need to be steam cleaned which was extra, however I let him know while he was talking that I was rubbing the spots off with my hand so I didn't think they cleaned it. I also mentioned the wall by the toilet only to be told they don't wash walls. I would think that the tile area around the toilet would be cleaned but I guess not. I received lots of excuses and finally I just gave up on the call. When my husband came home I told him I had the house cleaned and as he wiped the dust of the lamp with his finger, he said "it looks the same as it did when I left this morning". Overall this was a complete waste of my time and money and next time I'll just take the time to do it myself.
