Annnd just in case you didn't know, I'm not a fan I've driving in traffic! You can tell that every coach at OBF enjoy their jobs. They take their time to not only guide you through each workout but they go out of their way to make sure each individual is comfortable doing each exercise correctly. If need be, a different movement or lift can be subbed in. Hitting a PR and cheering you on to work harder is just as important as scaling when you need to OR slowing up the pace. They have Crossfit classes that include weightlifting lifts and various high intensity (HIT) workouts. There are also bootcamp classes to get your heart racing. Either (or both) classes are sure to keep you moving and shaking. Note : There are various classes in the a.m. and p.m. for both Crossfit and boot camp. There are showers upstairs if you need, great perk if you need to get to work after. Also, the parking lot is located within a shopping plaza with plenty of spaces. Added bonus: The staff and members are amazing! Everyone is super nice and fun. We not only help each other out, we crack jokes and plan social events. We are one giant team of friends cheering each other on in and outside of the gym. That makes all the gasping for air and sweating 1000 times more enjoyable!

Amazing place to workout and have a great community and team... everyone is so friendly and…read morededicated

There is plenty of parking with a little overflow parking area that I've had to use a couple times. They have a recovery zone with 3 or 4 hydromassage beds. They limit the time to 10 minutes. There is also a tanning bed. What they don't offer is childcare. I feel they could've designed the space a bit differently to add the childcare. They have many different types of machines, some more popular than others, of course. Wipe stations are everywhere which is convenient. They have a 2nd floor with treadmills, bikes and the group fitness studio. It has stairs and a single person open air lift elevator to help disabled members upstairs. Although, when I was experiencing mobility issues, when they first opened, they only had a couple people up front who knew how to use it. I had to call someone up front from my cell phone when I was ready to come back down. It isn't set up to let you go up and down on your own, which is very inconvenient and inconsiderate to someone with disabilities. They really should redesign the elevator to a closed elevator and allow members independent access to it like they have at other locations.

Immediately, I received an email from Crunch and a text. A little much, but okayyy. I went in and stood at the desk for about 2 minutes while one guy behind the desk was on his phone and the girl checking people in was...on her phone. The guy looked up eventually. I showed him the pass. He said he's Eric and had just written to me. Screwy first move, he not only asked for my ID, but insisted on keeping it in their little plastic box (in reach of anyone who walks in-since the employees are focused on their phones) so that I'd have to ask for it back before I left. This 80's-era sales stuff is SO outdated in 2026. He asked if I would like a quick tour. It was nice that he gave me the option. I'd never been to a Crunch and figured a quick overview would help. It's a very pretty and seemingly clean open space. WORKOUT ISSUES: I first went to the flat benches. NO clamps (collars) anywhere to be found with all of their benches. SO, SAFETY is not a priority? Is this like a college dorm where I need to rent out equipment then have to bring it back!? I went to the front desk. Eric was gave me clamps. I started my workout. Next, I realize there's ONE tiny freaking clock in this entire huge gym on the wall - visible only in one area. NO timers around. SO, I have to pull out phone while I'm working out to time my workout!? Moving on, this gym has tons of fancy stuff everywhere-all kinds of machines nobody was using that are more cumbersome than old school stuff, but getting to a peck-deck was nearly impossible. Eric told me this was a slow day (so did the girl at the desk when I was leaving). SO, on a slow day, getting to an old-school piece of equipment is a major pain. There are a bunch of others waiting nearby for it too. There were 2 machines for it, but 2 DIFFERENT kinds of machines. SAME ISSUE with the lateral raise...ONE machine. BATHROOM/WATER FOUNTAIN ISSUES: 2 water fountains, but when is on, there's no pressure in the other. The bathroom - counter was soaked. It just was't being cleaned properly. AFTER THE WORKOUT: The girl at the desk questioned me on why I wasn't signing up today complete with a snarky tone and smirk. (LESS #NoJudgement tagline, MORE #Judgment from the kid at the desk.) I explained that I didn't want to be locked in yet. She gave me 2 one-day passes and a card. I said thank you and left. Next morning, I get another message from Eric saying that he saw that I had put in a request for a pass and was looking forward to meeting me. SERIOUSLY!? THAT many people with the same exact name trying out the gym in a 24 hour period. FINAL STRAW: I went back in to give the gym another try on a different day to see if maybe it would be less busy. SAME snarky girl doesn't even acknowledge me when I scanned one of the 1-day passes she gave me. Instead of just walking on it, I thought the right thing to do would be give her the pass since I was using it. Clearly being honest is a BAD thing here! She said "oh, it's your first time in?" (UHHH, we just spoke 2 days ago.) I explained that I was just trying it out with the pass she gave me. She proceeds to tell me with the same annoying smirk that their policy is for only one free day. I asked why she gave me 2-day passes on the way out. She told me those were to give to my friends! I asked how much a day pass would be since I was there. $15. I said "forget it" and walked out. Instead of apologizing for the confusion (HER FAILURE) and just letting me workout, just watched a potential customer walk out aggravated. So, CRUNCH, THIS is the real experience from a real potential customer walking in for the first time to try your gym. BOTTOM LINE. Clamps, timers/clocks, lateral raises, and peck decks are issues. Bathrooms are a mess. Water fountains are too few and can't be used at the same time. Judgement and 'tude at the front desk. Oblivious to who they've talked to. At least the main floor is pretty and there's lots of stuff. As for the remaining day pass, I'm sure there's someone around the area that would like to have shelter for a day and hot shower.

What I love about this YMCA location is that there is ample equipment and I am able to get a productive workout complete. So far all machines that I have used are in great working condition. Other members too are able to get their workout done with ease unlike other locations where people are on their phone, taking up the machines and not actually using them efficiently. I have gone early morning around 7 AM and I have also gone in the evenings around 7/8 PM. I have not taken any classes yet, but will soon explore some. My only one complaint is that I have unable to use the sauna due to it being out of order. Hopefully, they're able to repair it soon. I have also heard and read in other reviews that it is frequently being repaired. Hopefully that gets resolved soon.

One minute actually working out. The irony is a foot to the right of the is a sign that states basically TRAIN or GET OFF THE MACHINE. Typically, these are the same people who never wipe the machines down either. It is extremely disappointing place to say the least. Worse of all NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT. "Thou shall not steal" is one of the commandments writen yet when it comes to time, apparently, "steal away" is the theme.

After, I received a call from the owner Felix explaining everything and asking about me and my goals. They offer a free consecutive week trail. I took advantage of it and went about 3 times. I wanted to check out the different classes and trainers. After that week, I signed up! I've been going 3 x a week. I would go more if they weren't so far since I'm going in the morning at 6:45am. Highly recommend. I'm hoping they open one closer to me but until then, this is my home gym.

I figured someone at the front…read moredesk would check me in, have me sign a waiver, and tell me what I was walking into, but nobody was at the desk, so I walked into the gym to find an instructor. I signed up for a "Legs" class. There wasn't an explanation as to how the class worked, but the instructor did walk through how to do the exercises at the 5 different stations. Once the timer started, I was able to ask how the class worked. It's kind of set up like F45 where you start at a station, stay there for an amount of time (for this class it was 8 minutes), and then go to the next station. They had the monitors set up at each station to remind you of the exercises. (This class was weights, not cardio like F45, so don't be scared if you hate cardio.) Once we were off, we were pretty much on our own until the final 10 seconds of each station. That being said, I definitely wouldn't call this a beginner class. The class is as hard as you make it because you pick your tempo and weights, but if you have never lifted before, I wouldn't start here. This class is best for people who already have some knowledge of form and what their starting weight should be to avoid injuries. They do have a lot of heavy plates and dumbbells, a turf space, sand bags, and wall balls. It looks like they'd be a great Hyrox gym, but I didn't see any Hyrox classes on the website.

Follow the tv screens and the trainer walks around making sure you are doing it correctly and getting the full work out.
