I have only visited a handful of times, and so far, the gym has been good overall. I enjoy that there is more free-weight equipment when compared to Planet Fitness in Lake Mary, which has none other than dumbbells. It has been years since I have used a free-weight squat rack, straight bar bench press, military press, and now that I have access to it again, it has made all the difference in the world for building muscle. Esporta amenities include: a lap-style swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, large hardwood floor studio, spinning room, a two-hoop basketball court, a battle rope workout area, a push-sled area, kettle bells, multiple ellipticals, treadmills, and plenty of Life Fitness equipment for every workout you can imagine. Esporta also offers anywhere between 18-20 interactive classes weekly, such as Zumba, Body Works, Cycle/Spinning, and Boot Camp Conditioning. There is a Kids Zone area where parents can let the children play in a safe location while they get their workout in. The locker rooms, restrooms, shower are actually beautiful and well kept. Note: if you are looking for the sauna, pool, and jacuzzi, you need to walk through the locker/restroom area to get to them. Also be sure to bring your own towel as the gym does not provide them. I have not dealt with the staff too much, but the team members I have encountered have been very nice. For those who like to wipe down and sanitize equipment before and after using machines, Esporta staff provides spray bottles you can take with you while you work out. I love this option since I am a bit of a clean freak. There are paper towel dispensers, equipment sanitizing solution and hand sanitizer located throughout the gym should you need it. My wife says the staff are continuously wiping down equipment; however, I see more wipe downs happening at Planet Fitness, and they have a lot less staff. Another great feature of this facility is the drinking fountains. There are two options, the traditional and the traditional plus bottle filling. I have not had an issue with either option so far, and the staff keeps this equipment sanitary. My only complaints so far are: - This is no fault of the gym but Members can be pigs here; people, please pick up after yourself! During my workout today, I picked up at least 10 different wads of paper towels members left on the floor or one of the machines. I also picked up several half bottles of water left on the floor. Members are also leaving wads of used paper towels on the bathroom sinks; why? The trash is right there; your mama does not work here! - As other Yelper noted, the music can be too loud. I don't mind background music, but the volume fluctuates between visits. It can be distracting at times especially when listening to my own music. - The Machines are a bit old, and that is ok; however, please schedule a PM tech to lubricate the moving parts on this equipment. I see a lot of rust, and some of the levers are jamming, making it difficult to adjust. All-in-all Esporta Fitness is a good gym with equipment that suites my needs; if you live in the area, I recommend checking them out.

Everything is newer and cleaner and there is more space in between the equipment in the stretching and circuit areas of the gym. They have several different machines here that the Lake Mary gym does not have, especially for abs and legs. I noticed they also have more than one butterfly machine and numerous squat racks available which is great. There are several locations where you can grab dumbbells and get to work and they also have more than one area where you can grab a straight and multi-grip curling bars unlike the Lake Mary gym. One of my favorite things here is the trash/sanitation stations. They are all-in-one meaning the sanitation bottle and paper towel dispenser are mounted onto the trash receptacle versus being hung on the wall or off the edge of the trash can, great idea. The Locker room and restrooms are very clean and spacious; everything looks like new. The one downside to this gym is that it is very busy. It can be difficult to find an open machine at times especially if you get here around peak times, so be sure to check the app before arrival. If you love ellipticals they have a ton of those but honestly, they could probably get rid of a quarter of these machines and no one would miss them. During peak times you will find it's difficult to get your anaerobic exercise in while the majority of the aerobic machines are not even being used. The staff were very friendly and welcomed me in and said have a nice day when I was leaving. All-in-all, I recommend them if you're looking for a place to workout in the Sanford area.

Although I don't live on this side of town, I still prefer the drive over here as it is around things that I do day to day. I can go to the grocery store after working out, I'm able to grab lunch and it's very close to the freeway. The facilities overall are clean and you can tell that they are really doing what they can to combat the Covid pandemic. They have spacing between each machine, designated areas to work out, more spray bottles to clean your equipment, and there are signs spaced throughout the location advising you to wear your mask when you are moving. The bathrooms are always clean (besides the issue with water dripping all along the counters because they only have air dryers which isn't really an issue for me), and they also have spray bottles for each shower so that you can clean them after using. There is hand sanitizer throughout the gym (especially in the restroom is near the mirrors), and the locker area is kept clean. The music isn't too loud or overwhelming, and they seem to be really managing the amount of people they allow in the gym at one time.
