Milieu Florals did the floral arrangements for our wedding in San Diego, and they did such an incredible job! I would recommend their team to anyone in a heartbeat. Hannah was my main point of contact throughout the planning process and she was very professional and communicative. She helped me determine what would work within our budget and provided expert opinions on what would be feasible / not feasible based on the inspiration photos I sent her and what would be in season around the time of the wedding. She made me feel very at ease in the planning process. In terms of creative design, this is no doubt Milieu's strongest suit! I never once doubted that whatever they came up with, whether similar or different from my inspo photos, it would look incredible - and it did! The florals added the soft pop to our wedding venue that I was looking for, and while they had similar vibes to the inspo I had sent, they also felt unique and special. I can't even count how many times people told me the florals were incredibly beautiful at our wedding. Everyone wanted to take the vases home at the end of the day, even though 90% of them live out of town and had to fly back! Thank you, Milieu Florals, for making our wedding day so special and memorable. I know the price can be a bit steep to invest in florals for a wedding, but if you can make it work in your budget, I would 100% recommend Milieu Florals for your wedding in a heartbeat!
From the moment I saw the floral arrangements on Milieu Florals Instagram page, I knew I found my wedding florist! When I started my wedding planning about 9-10 months ago, I knew my emphasis would be florals, and I am beyond happy I chose Milieu florals to do my wedding flowers! I had the privilege to work with Hannah and we are fortunate Hannah was very easy and professional to work with. She was quick to respond via email and takes her time to get to know your vision as well as provide great feedback to steer you back to your vision. It is very rare to find vendors who are willing to work with you, and Hannah definitely delivered. Her work speaks for itself and are truly a work of art. Hannah and her team at Milieu Florals made my wedding florals (bouquet, center pieces, ceremony florals) so beautiful and nailed the wedding aesthetic and palette I was planning/hoping for. My wedding was a few days ago and I still receive so many compliments from friends and family on the florals being the highlight of my wedding design. Milieu florals created the soft romantic vibe/atmosphere I desired. And also, all my guests were so thrilled to take home the florals that there were none left at the end of my wedding! We are so grateful for the work Hannah and her team at Milieu Florals did and I am definitely going to work with Hannah and Milieu Florals again! Even my husband was pleased with the florals! The floral arrangement from Milieu florals made such an impact on the overall wedding design and vibe, we found value in that and worthwhile within our wedding budget.
Absolutely loved the arrangement. I had no idea what it would look like and I just trusted the vision and experience of Hannah. It was perfect and my wife loved it. Make sure to send inquiries through email. I will definitely be sending future orders.
Milieu Florals is a new boutique floral shop adjacent to 7 Leaves Cafe in Gardena. I love the interior decor and how spacious the place looks. The store has a modern appeal, and the natural palette gives off a warm radiance. I also love the floating shelves with beautifully crafted clay pots and exotic chocolates. What I ordered: BOUQUET I wish I knew which flowers she used to make the arrangement. All I can say is that it was BEAUTIFUL. This bouquet was not-your-average flowers that you see at supermarkets. Hanna's ingenious sense of palette gradient put a wow factor to the end product. People that saw the bouquet all said that it was beautiful and unique. The tone of the flowers was not too heavy, yet not too bright, and overfilled with roses. Did I mention that it smells nice? It was not one of that cliche bouquet. I highly RECOMMEND Milieu Florals for anyone searching for a new and modern take of floral arrangements for your personal or business needs.
Five stars for this amazing florist!! Hannah's work is ART- it's so beautiful. Her work takes my breath away- I always feel mesmerized by her bouquets. Her work is even more beautiful in person (see my attached video to see how the florals dance around effortlessly). We regularly get bouquets from her for my mother-in-law, I love her light, bouncy style and her color coordinating is Hannah also did my wedding florals and they were my favorite detail of the day. I've attached some photos of my husband's boutonnière, my wedding bouquet and my bridesmaids with their bouquets as examples. She was extremely professional in her communication with us and even when setting up at our venue. The wedding planner at the venue even asked for her contact info after the wedding because she was so impressed with how beautiful everything was. If you're considering Hannah for any of your floral needs, whether it's a bouquet or flowers for a bigger event, you cannot go wrong! She is the best of the best, highly recommend!
Milieu Florals has been my go-to for all my floral needs since as long as I can remember. Hannah (the owner) is incredibly talented in bringing your vision to life. Even if you have no idea what you want, she will patiently work with you to create something beyond your wildest imagination. She is also the sweetest human being on planet earth and her/her team is extremely professional. Whether it's for my engagement shoot, a wreath for our first home, a gift for a friend, baby shower, bridal shower, my MIL/mama's birthday, YOU NAME IT...she has been through SO many of my life milestones and major events with our family. SO when Hannah finally opened her store-front, I could hardly contain my excitement. She put so much hard work into curating the most perfect, inviting space, and really a one-stop-shop for additional small gifts for yourself/your loved ones. Even the details in the bathroom are impeccable and it is truly the most beautiful bathroom I've ever used . They carry cards, other plants, gourmet chocolates, dried pieces that last forever, etc - you really need to stop by and see it for yourself. They also offer local delivery & monthly subscription arrangements because who doesn't love to wake up to a beautiful centerpiece every morning?! Needless to say, Milieu Florals is hands down my absolute FAVORITE. You need a piece from Milieu. ASAP.
I had Milieu Florals for my wedding and it was just perfect! Hannah is really easy to communicate with, and her recommendations really tells her experience (+10 years!) I highly recommend visiting the physical store. The place really show case Hannah's style and feels more like a art gallery rather than just another "flower shop".
Get your any of your floral needs from here, because Hannah is so amazing and talented with flowers! We got our wedding reception florals from Milieu, and our guests and us were all blown away by how beautiful they were. We met with Hannah several times, so she could nail down the look we were going for. She is very knowledgeable and professional and a joy to work with! We wanted a natural but bright look and she delivered! She was also able to locate off-season peonies for me, which was important for me for the look I wanted for our flowers. She also was nice enough to let me take over part of her lovely shop for a bit to make sure our flatware and dinnerware matched our mock-up flowers lol. The Milieu Florals shop is also so cute and has a variety of curated goods for your browsing or gifting needs. Again, highly highly recommend Milieu Florals! Stop by and check them out!
My husband has given me flowers from Milieu for every occasion you can think...birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day. He is a repeat Customer not only because the shop is so convenient (and pretty), but also because he knows their flowers always make me HAPPY!!! I'm a huge huge fan of their work - they did our engagement session and wedding, and I've purchased gifts for my friends (Galentine's Day, condolence flowers). We are just a little bit obsessed...:) I highlyyyy recommend visiting the shop. The shop carries fresh and dry florals that you can just pick up and purchase, and you can also find super pretty knick knacks from small businesses like chocolates, cards, candles, lip balms. Honestly....they make it so easy to mix and match gift sets that look custom curated...but they actually did all the work for us. LOL. If you're looking for wedding flowers, Hannah is amazzzzing to work with. She listens to what you want, offers up ideas, and the end product does not disappoint. The team is just very professional, responsive, and reliable - traits that are important when you're stressing about a million other things with wedding planning. All I gotta say is...don't hesitate to get florals from Milieu. No matter the occasion, they will have the florals that you are looking for. You will NOT regret it!!!!
I discovered Hannah and Milieu during the pandemic when I was looking for a perfect gift for my mom for Christmas - after chatting with Hannah, I found out that she offers monthly subscriptions/deliveries! I've watched in awe as Hannah delivered beautiful arrangements straight to my mom's front door every month as her creations as breathtaking and amazing! Years later, my friends gifted me her monthly subscription and I get to live out my dream of having her beautiful arrangements in my living room every month! Every month it is a completely surprise of color schemes and combinations but she never fails to make my heart flutter with her beautiful flowers! Trust me when I say she is your go-to girl for flowers !
I love this place, the flowers are carefully selected and store is beautiful. Hannah the owner was so helpful and kind. I've been looking for a flower shop like this for years now, and I've finally found the one! I'll definitely be coming back.
Beautiful high-end shop... The decore is what I want my house to look like. Hannah's dry pieces last forever and her fresh pieces are stunning for every day or special occasions. She has little great chocolates and candles to accompany as well as cards to go with. It's great to support this local family business.
I was lucky enough to have Hannah as my florist at my wedding. All her floral arrangements from the centerpieces, the bouquets, and boutonnières were so so beautiful! I got so many compliments on how beautiful the flowers were. Hannah is super kind and so great to work with and she completely saw my vision on what I wanted in my florals. She also has a shop in the Torrance area that displays all her beautiful floral pieces with other cute items like cards, mugs, and yummy chocolate that you can purchase! My husband and I will be stopping by frequently to get gifts for events in the future! I will always recommend Milieu Florals to anyone that needs floral decor for any event!

I can't recommend Hannah enough! I reached out with a very last-minute and especially sensitive request--something beyond the usual event or celebration florals--for a family going through the unimaginable loss of a child, and she handled everything with such incredible care, compassion, and thoughtfulness. She immediately helped me figure out the right arrangement, accommodated the short turnaround, and coordinated all of the logistics so seamlessly. During a situation where I really wanted everything to be handled with sensitivity and care, it meant so much to know I could completely trust her with the details. The flowers were beautiful, but even more than that, I was so grateful for the kindness and intentionality she brought to the entire process. Given the level of care she brought to such a request, I can only imagine the thoughtfulness and attention she brings to every event and arrangement she takes on! Truly above and beyond, I would recommend her wholeheartedly!! read more

Hannah and Milieu Florals created all of the floral arrangements for our wedding and I cannot emphasize enough what a great job they did! I first came across Milieu Florals several years ago on Instagram and even back then I'd never seen anything quite like their work. I had complete confidence that whatever they created would be amazing, and even though I already had a good sense of what their pieces looked like, I was still completely blown away! Hannah is a true artist; she has such an eye for color and composition, she incorporates such interesting textures and movement into her arrangements, and on top of that she is so professional and so easy to work with! We had a very unique situation in that our wedding venue suddenly and unexpectedly had to be changed 3 weeks prior to the wedding date, and Hannah was extremely accommodating and flexible through it all. The new venue ended up being a pretty different vibe and size from the original and Hannah immediately went to work adjusting our florals. In a very last minute request, I asked if it would be possible to incorporate a hanging installation fully expecting it to be infeasible, but Hannah was totally game and created the most lush and dreamy atmosphere! My guests could not stop gushing to me about how incredible it all looked; even my mom who is usually hard to impress was still raving about the florals several days later! Milieu Florals' work really speaks for itself. Hannah is hardworking, creative, and an expert in her craft. We had such a great experience working with her and Milieu Florals and cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

The floral arrangements Millieu Flowers created for our wedding were absolutely breathtaking -- truly beyond anything I had ever imagined. Our wedding planner at live.love.create.events curated a selection of florist Instagrams for us to browse, and the moment I landed on Millieu's page, I just knew they were the one. Their aesthetic matched my vision perfectly. For the ceremony, I dreamed of something soft and romantic -- a dreamy K-drama feel with pastel peach and orange tones -- and Millieu brought it to life so beautifully. The lush ground florals lining the aisle, the cascading floral arches framing our backdrop, and the delicate mix of garden roses, cosmos, and ranunculus felt like walking straight into a fairytale. Every corner of the ceremony space was filled with the most gorgeous blooms. The Millieu team even personally came to hand me my bouquet and deliver the boutonnieres right before our ceremony photos -- such a warm and thoughtful gesture that made the moment feel even more special! For the reception, we had a completely different vision -- a warm, moody Old Shanghai atmosphere with rich amber lighting, Chinese lanterns, and a bold terracotta backdrop. We wanted to carry our pastel florals into this new setting, and Millieu brilliantly suggested weaving in touches of deep red roses alongside our peach and cream blooms. The result was stunning -- a lush, romantic garden spilling across the sweetheart table, the bar, and the reception floor, with the double happiness symbol as the crown jewel. Our guests were convinced we had an entirely new set of florals -- it felt like a completely different world! Millieu handled every detail with such creativity and artistry, seamlessly blending two very distinct aesthetics into one cohesive and breathtaking wedding story. We are so incredibly grateful and could not recommend them enough! read more

Hannah of Milieu Florals is the best florist out there! I cannot recommend Milieu Florals enough for any type of florals you are looking for: weddings, engagement sessions, dohls, other special events, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, you name it! Hannah is not only an amazing florist, but the sweetest person to work with! Hannah has been and will be our go-to florist forever! ALSO, I'm so happy that Milieu Florals finally opened up a store! The shop is so beautiful as expected and they also sell chocolates, candles, cards, and other items to gift along with your flowers. I recommend getting "everlasting" dry florals as they are beautiful and last forever! Hannah was a dream to work with! We hired Milieu Florals for our wedding and she was so attentive, kind, and personable. She has a beautiful store in Torrance where we were able to have our floral design meeting (it was difficult not to want to buy everything in the shop!). Hannah executed our vision perfectly - the intricate detail she used to create the ceremony arch, centerpieces and bar floral arrangements were nothing short of extra ordinary. The variety of flowers Hannah procured were truly spectacular and more than we could have asked for. Our guests were raving about how beautiful everything turned out! Thank you so much, Hannah! We are so grateful to you for making our wedding day perfection! Highly recommend her for any occasion - you won't regret it! :) read more

I had the absolute best experience with Hannah at Milieu Florals. I had 4 months to plan my wedding and reached out to a dozen florists. Milieu Florals was my top choice going into it because I fell in love with her florals shown on her instagram and I'm SO glad it worked it. Hannah walked in with my bouquet while I was getting my makeup done and I gasped. It was more beautiful than I ever imagined. It was a small wedding, just my husband and I eloping in our backyard, and she really made it feel special with her arrangements. We didn't need too much and she never made me feel pressured to add more. It was perfect and I can't wait to throw another event just to use her again! read more

Hannah is a floral magician! Even in the midst of an incredibly special time for her and her family, with her pregnancy and new baby's birth, she did not skip a beat and delivered absolute floral MAGIC at our wedding. Photos speak for themselves, so will not make this too long, but really appreciated how she listened to our vision and brought it to life. Even though my Pinterest inspiration board was a bit all over the place, she knew exactly what I was looking for (even more than I knew myself!). People were scrambling to take all the flowers home at the end of the wedding, and we're still hearing compliments about how beautiful the flowers were nearly a month after our wedding. Highly recommend putting your trust in Milieu Florals for all your floral needs. read more

Hannah made my dream wedding come true with her beautiful flowers. Our venue has a strict time limit and she somehow executed building our arch in time for our ceremony and repurposed some of our ceremony flowers for our reception. Her work is sculptural and whimsical and so beautiful. From our phone consultation to her proposal to the wedding, she solidified what I had in my mind to a real-life vision. I cannot recommend her enough. I got to visit their shop in Torrance as well - what a lovely storefront they have! And, more importantly, not only does her beautiful work speak for itself but Hannah is so sweet and kind. Thank you for making our dream wedding so beautiful with your flowers! read more

Look no further, Milieu Florals is where it's at! Hannah did our flowers for our wedding and she captured our vision perfectly! Not only is she an amazing florist, but she is an incredible business woman. She has high attention to detail, she's transparent and communicative and really makes you feel heard. Our venue had some tricky last minute restrictions around candles, and Hannah handled it perfectly. She figured out a solution and gave us reassurance and a breath of relief that we'd still get the look we were hoping for. I walked into our ceremony and reception with tears in my eyes, her flowers brought the soft/elegant/romantic/fluttery vibe I dreamed of. I highly recommend Milieu Florals if you want creative, gorgeous wedding florals. Hannah's centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, mother bouquets, corsages and LOVE mugs were amazing and really made my wedding decor come together. I planned my wedding from the east coast so I couldn't meet with all of my vendors in person. I sent Hannah a document with some photos and ideas but I mostly leaned on her design skills to make the final decisions and put together the arrangements. The result was amazing and I loved everything! It was really nice to not have to choose every single detail. Hannah also had a lot of great suggestions on utilizing in season flowers and how to get the most beautiful arrangements without breaking my budget. read more

I can't say enough about Hannah Koo so I feel like the best thing I can do for her is write an awesome review.. though I feel like she is getting pretty well known already so in a few years when you hear about famous wedding florists you can say you heard it from me first! I was on a budget for my wedding but didnt want to sacrifice any of my tastes for what I wanted hahah I am quite impossible at times~ I had a vision of what I wanted my florals to look like: romantic, ethereal, w a hint of rustic charm. Apparently what I want is quite pricy because all of the florists I called quoted "starting at 5k" ! yikes. I love flowers but to spend that much on one day when they will die anyway seemed like such a waste so I was feeling a little disheartened.. there were people who were willing to do it for less but I did not like their work. it just looked plain jane crap that I could do and I got a C in floral class in high school..ugh thats another story.. ruined my sophmore 2nd semester GPA.=( who gets a C in any of those ROP classes?! I tried so hard but I am so not crafty...annnywayyy.. Things looked bleak when I came across a name in one of the millions of wedding blogs I had been looking through for our wedding. I had been pinning a certain look and realized this girl Hannah Koo was the artist in many of the floral arrangements I had pinned and saved. Searched a little for her and didn't find any websites but she was certainly featured on alot of blogs. Anyway turns out at the time, she was making her creations out of her garage and had JUST opened up a shop in Fullerton. So now you know I've added her address, stop your google searching now. She is SOOOO talented!!! I emailed her even though she was probably out of my price range but when she responded she said she works with any budget! I was like wahhh?? no 5k min?? So I went to meet with her and found a soft spoken, really pretty and feminine genius florist behind the counter. She was seriously so sweet and after the consultation I had no doubt she would make my vision come true. She was also really flexible and worked w me and my tiny budget to still get me the things I wanted. Fast forward to the wedding day.. we got sooo many compliments and everyone was fighting to take home the centerpieces. and my bouquet was exactly what I dreamed it to be.. romantic, ethereal, w a hint of rustic charm. I loved everything about our wedding..everything that I envisioned came to life but I really feel that florals were a biggg part of making that vision come true. thank you Hannah, I hope you know how amazingly talented you are! If you are looking for an AWESOME wedding florist I highly highly highly recommend her you will not regret it! read more

A consummate professional, Hannah delivered amazing results for my wedding, which was planned from long distance. Due to the distance, all communications were via phone and email, and she was super responsive. She provided her initial vision, an estimate of costs, and was able to fit within my budget. I was so impressed that I let her run with her plan. She even sent me periodic updates as she shopped for design pieces to complement the floral arrangements. Even with virtually no input from me, other than wedding colors and a theme, of course, Hannah's creations blew me away. Our theme was based on the book, "The Giving Tree". She found these gorgeous wooden boxes depicting the richness of the woods, and even incorporated mini apples into the centerpieces and ring bearer's boutonniere. My godson was the ring bearer, and when he was in another wedding the next year, he asked, "Where's my apple?". Basically, she even impressed a 3 year old. Everything fit right in with the church, reception venue, wedding party, and most importantly our style. Not only is Hannah so perceptive that she is able to figure out our style from one phone call, she does her due diligence. I received rave reviews from all of our guests, including our hard-to-impress moms. Best comments I heard from my guests was that the design perfectly matched us. How much better can it get than that? It's a testament to Hannah's innate combination of artistic sense, creative ability and attention to detail. All future brides: don't book a florist without at least a consultation with Hannah. Who cares if her studio is out of her garage? Plenty of people work out of home offices. Bottom line, you will not regret the end result because Hannah puts her clients' needs first and doesn't accept anything less than the best. Check out her FB page/blog -- it's full of double wedding weekends -- and see the designs for yourself. And finally, trust an actual client, not somebody who sounds like a snotty bridezilla. Talk about unprofessionalism, SMH. read more

I wish I had her for my own florist for my wedding! But alas, all I get to do is watch her make amazing floral creations in her retail window (I live nearby) for all of her brides. For a special holiday treat, she was selling these small glass vases of baby succulents as unique Christmas gifts! (Picture posted in yelp gallery). Love, love, LOVE!! read more

I never paid attention to floral centerpieces until I saw the beautiful arrangements created by Hannah Koo at a friend's wedding a few years ago. I wasn't the only one as guests started snapping up the centerpieces to take home even before the reception was over. When my turn to walk down the aisle came, Hannah Koo was the first vendor I contacted. The day I met up with her, I felt rather foolish - I had no idea what I wanted and didn't even know what kinds of questions to ask. But Hannah was not only professional but kind and helpful. She basically walked me through and showed me her ideas based on the wedding colors I chose. I left our meeting feeling really excited and confident. On the wedding day, I was blown away by Hannah's work! The bouquets, the centerpieces... the cake! We received lots of compliments about the flowers from our guests. Since then, Hannah's floral creations have become a mainstay in many of my friends' weddings. And it's not hard to see why. She is so easy to talk to, creative, pays great attention to even the smallest of details and takes pride in her work. As a stressed out bride, I truly appreciated her. read more
