Mitsuko and her team are absolutely incredible. We hired them to do florals for our entire wedding & every floral arrangement was beautiful. From the start, Mio & Francois took the time to coordinate a planning meeting & listen to our vision for the wedding florals, & they truly brought it to life. They suggested incredible ideas & flower choices for the arrangements, while also listening and adapting based on the vision we had. My husband & I wholeheartedly recommend hiring Mitsuko & her team- they were the perfect florists for our wedding to bring our wedding decor together! read more

It is truly an understatement to say that Mitsuko Floral hit it out of the park for my wedding. Words cannot adequately describe how breathtaking their work was. My guests echoed exactly what I felt--that the florals were one of the most stunning parts of the entire day. Guests were literally rushing to take centerpieces and arrangements home because they were that beautiful! I came to Mitsuko Floral with a vision of an Audrey Hepburn, old Hollywood, timeless romantic wedding. Mio, Mitsuko, Francois, and the entire team transformed that vision into something even more beautiful than I imagined. When some of my original ideas proved too costly or unavailable, they thoughtfully suggested alternatives that were even more elegant while saving me money. That level of honesty, creativity, and genuine care is incredibly rare. Beyond their extraordinary talent, they are simply wonderful people--organized, punctual, supportive, and completely invested in making my wedding beautiful. Having planned large corporate events myself, I know exceptional execution when I see it, and Mitsuko Floral exceeded every expectation. Although I live in Ventura County, I would gladly make the drive to the South Bay to work with them again. Thank you, Mio, Mitsuko, Francois, and your wonderful team for creating the romantic, vintage-inspired wedding of my dreams. I recommend Mitsuko Floral wholeheartedly to anyone looking for artistry, professionalism, and people who truly pour their hearts into what they do. read more

I received an arrangement from my partner by Mitsuko Floral for Valentine's Day and... wow, my jaw dropped! It was one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever received and I immediately wanted to order a billion more. I'm convinced that a couple of these arrangements every winter could cure my seasonal depression. The ordering and pickup experience was also perfect! My partner had ordered from Mitsuko Floral a bit later (due to significant delays with a different florist that he ultimately cancelled on), but was still able to pick up at the agreed-upon time on 2/13. Despite the chaos that florists everywhere were experiencing during Valentine's Day weekend, we were graced with a stress-free and seamless experience with Mitsuko Floral. read more

They are amazing to work with! Great customer service, amazing communication and I got exactly what I asked for. Wedding planning was difficult but working with Mitsuko was easy because all I did was send them inspiration and we went back and forth a few times. And they were very kind to accommodate everything we wanted. We asked for a floral bouquet with purple, green and white, a matching boutonnière and a floral head piece. When we picked it up, they showed us how to keep the flowers fresh and how to take care of them before the big day. And they packaged everything so nicely. read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about Francois, Mitsuko, and the entire team at Mitsuko Floral! If you are planning a wedding or event, look no further. Their arrangements and service FAR exceeded our expectations--they made our wedding weekend magical. We were looking for something effortless, organic, and a bit wild, and Mitsuko brought that vision to life perfectly. Each piece was so thoughtfully perfect. When I changed my mind about renting an arch and adjusted our table layouts to fit our brewery reception, Francois was incredibly flexible, patient, and detail-oriented in updating our quotes (we went through a few versions, and he was so sweet about it every time!). And when a piece went missing at the brewery and Francois personally drove back to our house (through Friday evening traffic!) to ensure the reception was stunning. They truly went above and above and beyond. Thank you so much, Francois & Mitsuko! read more

Everything exceeded our expectations. From the bouquets to the ceremony arrangements and sweetheart table florals, every detail was thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed, adding so much elegance, color, and warmth to our wedding day. They worked closely with us to stay within our budget and understood our limitations without compromising the overall look and feel we envisioned. I especially loved my bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets, and we absolutely adored the way the pergola arrangements were repurposed for our sweetheart table. It was such a beautiful touch and exactly what we had imagined. The floral design truly elevated our celebration and helped create the atmosphere we dreamed of for ourselves and our guests. Throughout the entire process, the team demonstrated exceptional talent, care, and attention to detail, making everything feel seamless and stress-free. I ordered a beautiful flower arrangement from Mitsuko and I was so pleased with it! I had called in the order around noon and asked if she could make an arrangement and deliver it that same day to a friend in Torrance. I thought it might be a long shot since I was calling last minute, but she was very willing to make it happen! I had a specific arrangement that I saw on their website and wanted to order, but she said they didn't have all of the flowers for it. She said she could make something "close" to it for $75 plus $15 delivery + tax. Sounded good to me! I asked if she could send me a photo of the arrangement after she made it, and she did! It was way better than I imagined it to be! It was simply stunning. I would highly recommend this florist, and will certainly call them again. Between the awesome customer service from Mitsuko, to the gorgeous flower arrangement, this florist can't be beat! read more

Mio and the entire team did such a beautiful job on my daughter's wedding. I still can't believe how upscale and exquisite the flowers came out, especially given a relatively modest budget in this era. Mio was especially sensitive and inclusive with my disabled daughter and son in law in bringing their fairy tale wedding to life. Everyone deserves that experience. Five stars aren't enough! We worked with Mitsuko Floral for our wedding, and they absolutely nailed it. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The team was incredibly kind, responsive, and professional, and they took the time to understand our vision fully. One of the most impressive things was how perfectly they matched our requested color theme--it was spot on, and every arrangement looked cohesive, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. The selection of flowers was gorgeous, and the quality was top-tier. We really felt like they cared about getting everything right, and it showed in every detail--from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony arch to the reception centerpieces. It all felt so "us" and brought so much life to the entire day. Not only was the service exceptional, but the value was outstanding. We felt we got so much beauty and professionalism for our budget. I'm Grateful for Mitsuko Floral!!! My mom passed unexpectedly and I was devastated. I could barely think straight. My brother passed years ago & my dad 3 yrs ago, so I had to do all the planning for her memorial. I literally booked their floral services the week of the memorial. Mitsuko Floral gave me exactly what I wanted within my budget. I ordered two floral sprays (see pictures) and asked them to match the floral design I made for my mom's program and to complement the urn flowers I had to purchase from the mortuary. I also told them I wanted the leaves on the sprays to resemble the size and shape of my dad's memorial sprays, but with a different color scheme and provided them photos. They took all my details and sent me a layout of the exact flowers & leaves they planned to use for my approval. They were spot on!!! I can't thank them enough for the beautiful spray arrangements, their attention to details, great communication, and timely delivery. I highly recommend using Mitsuko Floral. read more

Highly recommend Mitsuko Floral! From the first email to the day of our wedding, everything was seamless. They were very patient and accommodating with creating different quotes as we decided on our table setups & number of guests. It was very easy to have them fill out our venue's required forms and, on the day of the wedding, they always stuck to our schedule. Mitsuko Floral is the DREAM TEAM of flowers. They truly exceeded our expectations every step of the way. I requested their services for our wedding really late in the game, but they were willing to work with us -- and made it so easy and pleasant. I had a vision for the bouquets, boutonnières and table arrangements -- they brought everything to life even better than I could've imagined. Francois and Mitsuko were so easy to work with. Sent them inspiration pictures (majority from their yelp and Instagram) along with some photos of what we really did not like. We needed a lei and bouquet for our elopement. At pickup I felt my bouquet had a lot less greenery than I wanted (asked for a 50/50 ratio) and Mitsuko was kind enough to add more greenery to look like the inspiration photos I sent in. We eloped in Santa Barbara and picked up the bouquet and lei the morning before our drive up, they made sure to make sure everything was secure for our drive and gave us detailed instructions on how to store them overnight so they would be fresh and beautiful for the next morning. Pricing was very fair and I would even venture to say on the lower end of "standard" pricing. read more

My college friends and I started zooming when we went to shelter in place. We started celebrating each other's birthdays and hanging out for hours on zoom. Several continents, multiple countries and time zones but we make it work. In June, one of our friends in Carson, CA is celebrating her birthday and we decided to surprise her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers before our zoom call. I went on Yelp and started looking for a local florist. Many have 4-5 stars reviews but I didn't like the arrangements and designs uploaded. Many resembled arrangements I can get at grocery stores. The flower choices where ordinary at best. This is how I stumbled upon Mitsuko Floral. Her designs and flower choices stood out for me. Her bouquets elevated the occasion and made it very special. My friends favorite color is purple and she captured that theme very well even just from the phone conversation. Customer service was great over the phone. She answered when I called to order. She sent me a text when she delivered the flowers with the picture of the bouquet. Most importantly, my friend was very happy with the bouquet and we got to enjoy it during our zoom call. The one thing I cannot review is the freshness of the flowers and how long they lasted. It was also particularly very hot the time she delivered the arrangement. Overall, mission accomplished. Our birthday girl loved the arrangement and we all collectively agreed and thought it was a very elegant and beautiful bouquet. read more

I was panicking looking for an orchid lei necklace for my son's graduation last Sunday. Luckily, I found Mitsuko Floral through Yelp that Friday night and was able to order two orchid leis. When I placed the order on the phone, Mitsuko sounded quite pleasant. It was quite a relief when she told me that I could pick up the orchid leis early morning the following day. When I picked up the leis, I was really amazed at how they were beautifully wrapped. Plus, the price was very reasonable. Mitsuko was very nice, friendly, and helpful. I had a chance to see the beautiful flower arrangements she created for a wedding that Saturday. I'm so glad I ordered the orchid leis from Mitsuko Floral. I highly highly recommend working with Mitsuko Florals!! They were incredible to work with and the florals were my absolute favorite design element of my wedding even though I honestly did not expect it to be so. Design: 6/5 Pricing: 5/5 Service: 5/5 They brought my vision to life and honestly succeeded my expectations. Mio was the first person I spoke with. I brought to the meeting a couple Pinterest photos, none of which was exactly what I wanted because I was going for a combination or variation of it. Honestly I wasn't sure if I explained myself well but not only was Mio patient, she completely understood what I was going for and also had wonderful recommendations and options. I also didn't know much about flowers but she guided me through the process. She was also very transparent about costs and even helped me find ways to meet my budget! I entrusted them fully as they were not out to get me to pay up the wazoo, they absolutely did not try to upsell me which I very much respected. Their pricing is also very reasonable. I reached out to a couple florists and if you don't already know, you can really blow up your budget with florists and a lot of them ask for high minimums. That was not the case with Mistuko Florals I also planned this during covid and even had to postpone my wedding. They were always understanding and accommodating which made a stressful time so much easier. When I had to drop off the vases prior to the day I met Francois and Mio who were absolutely sweethearts. Especially during that time, flowers were in high demand and low stock because weddings were picking back up. Even with that hurdle they completely blew it out of the water. I don't know what magic powers Mio and her team have but wow....pure talent! On the day I was absolutely stunned by the results (if I haven't said that enough already lol) and so were my guests. I heard endless compliments and when we told guests they could bring centerpieces home, they were all immediately gone. I've been to weddings where some centerpieces get left behind but they were snatched up so quickly that I never even got to keep some of my own. I'm still really sad about that but it's ok I got to keep the photos. I seriously cannot think of a single critique. BOOK THEM NOW!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!! read more
