I ordered flowers here last minute and had it delivered the next day. The response time was pretty quick and I like how I was able to get real time updates! I will definitely be ordering my flowers from here for any occasion! Definitely worth it.
They are always able to accommodate my requests, turned out great. I'll continue coming to Hanadai.
If I could give Hanadai Florist 10 Yelp* Stars I would absolutely do so! I first learned of Hanadai from one of my best girlfriends some months ago. She mentioned that she treats her mom to bouquets from here every so often. Today, Thanksgiving 2025, is also one of my dearest girlfriend's birthday. She gives so much of herself, at work, at school, in every day life... She is also, unfortunately, under the weather on her staycation. So flowers have to be one of the things to lift her spirits, right? Enter Hanadai Florist. I saw that I could get ahold of them thru text message, and that made my weird introverted heart so happy! I honestly wasn't expecting much, being that it was Thanksgiving morning. I'd even messaged a more local florist on IG as a backup. I was *overjoyed* when Hiromi texted me back! It was all uphill from there! I was shown examples of bouquets, I was asked how much I wanted to spend, what color flowers I wanted, and if I wanted the flowers to be in a vase or not. And then the more formal questions were asked of who and where I wanted the flowers to be delivered to, and my info for billing purposes. I was able to complete my Thanksgiving cooking, all whilst conversing with Hiromi via text about my friend's bouquet. The finished bouquet was **GORGEOUS**!! Hiromi is a true artist, and I'm so, so appreciative of the whole experience! Customer service, flower selection, pricing, availability, delivery service, ease of billing via email, clear communication... Everything you would want from a small business you get from Hanadai Florist! Thank you, Hiromi and Hanadai Florist, for helping to brighten my friend's day today! I will absolutely and always sing my praises for you!
The value of the beautiful flowers I ordered for an event is unmatched. They were easy to work with. I gave minimal instructions and the delivery was right on time ( held up only by bad parking near the venue). Thumbs up and would order again. Thank you for the lovely service.
I stopped by Hanadai an hour before closing after running an errand as I was curious if there were options available. I needed a sympathy arrangement by the next morning before heading to San Diego. They were welcoming when I entered the shop and asked what I was looking for based off of my budget. They were so kind and understood the urgency and was able to put one together for me same day. I loved how the arrangement turned out! The colors and flowers were so beautiful!! I would order and purchase flowers from them again.
The most beautiful floral arrangements! The flowers looked exactly like the ones I ordered, which is surprisingly rare. Delivery was seamless, and communication throughout the process was easy and responsive. I'm still amazed by how closely the final arrangement matched what I selected. I couldn't be happier with the result and will definitely order again.

I've seen Hanadai bouquets at my local Mitsuwa and have always admired how beautiful they were. The bouquets' color scheme is very aesthetic-- pastels, whites and light colors. It's my friend's birthday tomorrow so I stopped by at their store front to pick up an arrangement. I showed the attendant the photo of what I wanted, it was a photo on their website. The bouquet was spot on and I'm very happy with how it turned out!!! I felt the price was fair. With tax, the total was $60.50 ($55 before tax). The only thing I have to say is the bouquet only looks good from the front view. This is the first time I've had an arrangement only look good from one view. Usually it's gorgeous from all angles. I posted a picture to show what the back looks like. I still love it either way but figured I would note that in case it surprises you too.
A little pricey for the amount of flowers you get but there are some really great people at Hanadai and the staff is always incredibly helpful. At first when I bought on the website I was a bit underwhelmed when I picked them up, since it looked bigger in the pictures. I don't blame them since I should have asked about sizing. It would be nice to have some way to tell online but I don't fault them for that. I do love their wild flower arrangements and my wife approves so I gave them another shot this time I called and asked about the sizing comparisons. They even told me they would add a bit more to make sure it looks full. My wife was very happy on valentines and I love the option to pick up to save on shipping.
This is the floral arrangement I special ordered last year at this time for my dear friend's 90th birthday . I wanted anthuriums and a very oriental look. This turned out beautifully ! I was so pleased. My friend and her family loved it.
I have ordered Hanadai flowers to give to people many times and this was my first time receiving them. They're gorgeous "couture" arrangements. They totally make a statement and stay fresh for many days. The peonies are gorgeous and delicate. Beautiful pieces of art. The perfect way to make a statement.
Reached out to Hanadai to get a bouquet of dried flowers and they were very accommodating and was even able to make a bouquet for me the day of. The bouquet came out so gorgeous and I would definitely come back and get flowers again when I need to! The flower shop has good amount of parking! I believe they also have a shop at mitsuwa near del amo so I would def check that out!

What a cute flower shop!!! It's tucked away in an unassuming plaza. The entrance is opposite from the main busy street. The ladies here were very nice and didn't make us feel rushed when we were trying to put together our bouquet. They did a beautiful job packaging it and the flowers here were so fresh and gorgeous. Loved the selection here and reasonably priced. Definitely coming back for my future bouquets!! read more

After shopping around for a bit, I stopped by Hanadai for a last minute bouquet request and all I needed to do was to show them a few photos and the types of flowers I wanted for a quote. Consultation was quick and easy, and the price was reasonable as well. I found them very helpful and my beautiful bouquet was ready on time. Would highly recommend Hanadai! read more
The good: I ordered birthday flowers from here for my mom and had it delivered thru DoorDash. I liked that their bouquets looked fancier and elevated. They didn't look like the typical round bouquet shape from the grocery store. I asked for more yellows and oranges than the pictured pinks and they understood the assignment! I liked the eucalyptus leaves and the fun fan plant in back. I also liked the whimsical yellow fluffy tail plants. The bad: There was a $17 service and tax fee. The interesting: My mom's bouquet was a day before my baby shower so I was able to double up on it's purpose as decor for my baby shower too. read more

Small, quaint Japanese Floral shop located in an industrial complex in Torrance. Stopped by while doing errands in the area to pick up a floral birthday bouquet for a dear friend. Fresh flowers, arrangement is tailored to your budget. Bouquet was made as I waited, though you can order online/pickup also. I forgot last minute flowers for my mom's birthday here bc another flower shop wasn't being reliable. They were so accommodating and had done in 40 mins! I gave the girl a budget of $90-100 and gave her free range to do what she wanted and they came out beautiful! So happy with them and my mom loved them too. I highly recommend this flower shop. Excellent selection of beautiful flowers in different colors. The owner was extremely sweet and thoughtful. I told her that we wanted some cheery, get well flowers for my grandpa and she immediately started picking out certain colors that were a bit more masculine while still being very vibrant. It took her about 15 minutes to quickly whip up sizeable arrangement (about 20-30ish stems or so), arranged in a basket, all for a decent price. Our whole family was going through a really tough time. When I brought the flowers back, it was the center of attention for many days. They were utterly and complete adored. My grandma took many photos and sent them to her friends, each member of the family went around choosing their favorite single flower, but ultimately gave up because they said the whole arrangement itself was too beautiful. I'm so grateful that we were able to give this gift that brought everyone so much happiness. Thank you, Hanadai, for bringing a bit of joy to our family when we needed it. read more
Wanted to get my dad flowers before picking him up from the airport. I dropped by and asked if they had an arrangement already made. They didn't have any that were premade but they were able to make one for me right then and there. It took about 20 minutes and the final product came out so gorgeous! All of the employees were so polite and friendly. Truly characteristics that I really appreciate about the Japanese culture and mannerisms. I don't get to see my dad very often - maybe once or twice a year so he was definitely very happy receiving the beautiful flowers. read more

Once the flower arrangement was made, Hanadai texted me photos of the flowers and the card. I received a text from Hanadai once the delivery was being made. A hidden gem in Torrance! Local business, Japanese owner and designers. Huge plus - they are open on Sundays too! It's not a very big shop, they have a small (but beautiful) selection to choose from. There are also a handful of potted plants as well. They do beautiful bouquets and arrangements, and I feel the prices are very reasonable for what you receive. You can do special orders, or walk in. read more

First time customer and I can't say enough great things about Hanadai. I needed a corsage last minute for my son's winter formal, and they went above and beyond to make it happen. Despite the short notice, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They put together a stunning corsage that looked elegant and perfectly matched the occasion. The quality of the flowers was outstanding--fresh, beautifully arranged, and thoughtfully designed. You'd never guess it was a last-minute order! I was scrambling to find bouquets for a birthday and I happen to find one very close to me that was closing in 30 minutes. I asked the person who was working if I could get two bouquets made and in under 20 mins he arranged and wrapped up the most beautiful bouquets I've ever bought! The front of the shop also has a display of house plants you can purchase ! So glad I found this place! read more

Hanadai in Torrance is my favorite flower shop! I have ordered from them twice & will continue to order from them forever. They are fairly priced and always send me a pic of the flowers before delivery and text me when it's delivered. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful arrangements. read more

I just ordered flowers from them. Takumi San was responsive and I appreciate the care given to arrange for my flowers to be delivered to my 90 year old aunt in the hospital. I called the number and left a message, Takumi called right back. We discussed what I need and placed my order online. We then followed up on text and he sent me a photo of my arrangement, as I opted for the florist choice arrangement, it looked beautiful. He used flowers that are lovely and uncommon, the color combinations are well thought out. I appreciate creativity and care taken to make an arrangement personal. Hanadai created a gorgeous arrangement for a friend. It was simple to browse through their options and place the order online (I had a hard time deciding, the options are all so nice and non-cookie cutter) They even sent me a photo prior to delivery to ensure the arrangement met my expectations.
