The installation crew to replace our window was excellent. The warranty response from the office was not very good. The office wouldnt return my calls but finally i connected with a person who scheduled the replacement date. It took almost 3 months to get the warranty work done. read more

Norm, the Milgard installer, was excellent. His 25 years of experience was evident. He was fast & efficient. When he installed three clerestory windows, he had to climb on our deck cover to cut their seals. He made this task look easy. He also is a very nice man! Thank you Norm for doing such a fantastic job!! read more

Excellent service. Slider door with built in shades that did not close completely. After finally figuring out the sales order, they were quite thorough, full warranty. was a bit of a lead time to order the glass, but installation was amazing. Tech even adjusted the handle. Will definitely keep MILGARD on our radar for any and all window issues. read more

I had a gentleman "Kyle" disassemble/assemble a new double pane window (vinyl) very fast with quality workmanship, definite experience, and a pleasure to work with; "easy-peasy"! The Milgard window & door administrative office was most awesome to work with too! I was kept informed of what dates/times would be available, and all went exactly as planned. The Milgard windows I have purchased twice over the years for my new house addition can not be beat for their warranty service, quality of windows, and price which I feel beats another "very expensive window brand" that starts with an "A"!!! Thus, I am a another very happy customer which I will personally continue to purchase Milgard Windows. More insight of this window replacement experience: This window was installed approximately in 2004 & after about 6 months to a year I noticed this window was more "cloudy" and back then, "Life" got in my way. Well, now some 22+ years later, I decided to have the window replaced, and I definitely wanted Milgard again! So at my local Milgard window dealer/salesman reminded me of their warranty -- and so I went to the Milgard website, and sure enough, Milgard was their for me again (because I am the "original owner" of this window that needed to be replaced)! Thus, I am beyond excited/happy, that this "thorn-in-my-side" (beyond cloudy window) is gone & I forgot just how beautiful it is to look out my newly replaced window. Life is good! Thank you Kyle, Milgard Windows for keeping your great wonderful warranty as you said so long ago! Sincerely, Dennis of "Magical Merlin", OR. read more

We've had so many of our Milguard windows replaced. They seem to have quality issues. However, to their credit, they have honored replacing them...but it takes months to have them perform the service. I wish they installed clean ones...or washed them. One new window has two 1/2 - 3/4" etches right on the glass. Very disappointing. Another window has a full fledge hand print in-between the panes and can't be accessed to clean it. read more

Needed repair on patio door.. I was checking into replacing my whole patio door and to find out We have a lifetime warranty on this door. Milgard verified this and was on top of getting us on the schedule for a repair. I was very pleased when I saw it was a gentleman who works for Milgard and not a third party company. He replaced parts and made sure the door was adjusted correctly and in locking properly.. I appreciated his time to making it right. The door works and slides like a brand new door. Milgard stood behind the warranty , which in todays world doesn't always happen. read more

We bought this house new 25 years ago. Every few years a Milgard window will fail, and each time they have replaced the window for free with no hassle. Milgatd has great and doors, especially their fiberglass line. They are sturdy, quite and hold up well. Their service is unmatched.

This review was for a repair request. The person who came to complete the requested warranty repair, was professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. He was presented himself well as a representative for Milgard. He brought all the needed tools and parts with him to address the issue. I would have given this 5 stars except for the very lengthy time between initiating the warranty and the actual repair. If Milgard could shorten that time they would totally deserve the 5 stars. read more

In general, like the Milgard windows and sliders. That said, they have more issues on this job than other brands on new construction projects we've built. Namely --- larger sliders expand and wedge/stop when in direct sun at certain times of years. Multiple attempts to adjust only work for short time. Other windows have window balance/block+tackle issues, requiring multiple service calls, and quality of the screens are suspect --- tabs have become so brittle after 1 year they snap off, making screens impossible to remove or put back in. One window (or screen) changed shape. One is crushed on edge. Still waiting for Milgard to replace. Once replaced and working --- will increase star rating. read more

The two men replaced compromised windows that were cloudy in amazingly short time. They were professional and gracious at the same time.

We recently had new Milgard vinyl windows installed and love them. When the contractor installed them they noticed two scratches on one of the picture windows and reordered it to be replaced. The workers,Milgard employees, not the contractors, arrived and hour early and installed a new window in its place which they said also has scratches in it. Luckily we do have a warranty so will see how it goes. read more

Our Milgard basement door, installed in 2018 was sticking which prevented it from opening smoothly. I tried fussing with the hinge adjustments as video recommended. it sort of helped for a while. A contractor who uses the entrance regularly, thought the hinges might need replacing. I contacted Milgard. The service guy from Milgard fixed it in less than five minutes! I also have new hinges if this continues to be a problem over time. Thank you! It's so nice to not have to slam the door to shut it! Don't you wish all problems could be solved so quickly and easily? read more

Very quick to respond and went the extra mile checking all windows for signs of problems.

The crew sent to repair the locking mechanism on our patio doors was excellent. Based on my conversation with Milgard's office, I thought I was going to be in for a fight about whether the door warranty covered one or both of our patio doors (which come together in the center) or allowed Milgard to substitute a different color for one of the two door handle assemblies. Luckily, for everyone, the crew had some random inventory in their truck, and did a wonderful and quick job of repairing the broken lock. read more

My 36-year old glass sliding door was very difficult to slide so I called for Milgard to come and repair (lifetime warranty to the original owner is a super good deal). The repair was quick (35 minutes) although the door removal was not so easy. I cannot believe how easily the door now slides and I wish I had called them years ago. read more

Excellent customer service, start to finish. Had some faulty windows on our warranty. Spoke to a professional and kind Rep, Carlos, who was incredible at walking me through the process, and helping schedule a tech to come out and replace the windows. When the Tech showed up, he was also professional, respectful, knowledgeable and mentioned there had been an issue with one of the replacement windows he was to install, and he was waiting for a confirmation that someone was bringing him the new one being made. Another tech drove the window out, windows were replaced in a timely manner, Tech was wonderful. Great experience with Milgard! Our previous home had all Milgard windows as well, and again, nothing but wonderful experience with the Milgard team whenever we had questions! Highly recommend! read more

We've lived in our home for 15 years, which has Milgard windows throughout. Over that time, we've had to make three different warranty claims, most recently on 4/25. While there is a wait time for warranty service, Milgard has consistently resolved every issue without hesitation. Each time, our concerns were addressed courteously and with a real sense of urgency. All three appointments were honored as scheduled, and the technicians arrived on time, in uniform, and in clearly marked vehicles. They were professional, efficient, and took the time to explain the replacement procedures thoroughly. Milgard's commitment to standing behind their product and delivering excellent service has never wavered. We truly appreciate their continued support and professionalism. read more
