My dog ripped two holes in a existing screen sliding door what a bummer. I saw this company did screen repairs however I wanted to upgrade to a new door and let mesh! I went the custom door option and brought in my old damaged door. Communication was clear on timing and cost as well as different options for pet mesh. While they do deliver I choose to pick up and install myself but had some hiccups. Absolute farce. Their employee to arrive between 10 and 1030. 1045 comes with no phone call. I call and am advised he will arrive in 5 minutes. I let them know I have to return to work at 11 and confirmed our address. 11:05 - called the company again when he had yet to arrive. On the call he pulls up...and then drives away. Told the individual we were cancelling, they didn't apologize, tried to tell me to call back for another appointment. Ridiculous customer service. Extremely disappointed. read more

We recently bought a house that was missing a screen on one of the windows. It's a custom window with a very narrow window frame. My husband swore up and down that there was no way a screen was going to fit. My daughter's were upset b/c every time we opened the window, we'd get big flying bugs in the kitchen. Mobile Screens did a GREAT job (at an affordable price) crafting a custom screen for us. They came to the house to measure, again to install (finding it was off by a tiny bit, so they went back to rebuild the screen, at no extra cost to us), and 3rd time to install the window. Mobile Screens did an outstanding job of offering our home an upgraded heavy duty screen to replace both front window screens. They came out, did the measurements and made the steel frames and screens on the spot! The price quoted was the price paid. Then, we had our missing back patio screen door taken care of. Again, upgraded to a heavy duty screen and metal door. I asked, they didn't try to "up sell" me anything. Again, the price quoted and the time to get it installed was exactly as promised. Lastly, the slider strike plate was taken by a prior contractor when the dog door was put in. They came back out a 3rd time to take care of this. Kevin was concerned for my welfare and safety. We used Mobile Screens on a recommendation from Patty Spencer (Fresh Air- she refurbished our double hung windows). The storm window screen combinations were bent and had ripped screens. We used a pencil to hold some of the windows open. My storm windows on the main floor had spider webs and condensation. We got upper level storm windows replaced and the big glass panels on the main floor re-sealed instead of replaced. Customer service was excellent. I had a lot of questions and they were not pushy or trying to upsell me. The team that installed the screens was very respectful. The new storm windows look so much better and they are functional! I would not want to do the measurements and installation on my own, this was money well spent. read more

I needed only 3 new window screens and a 30" sliding patio screen. They were on time, efficient, hauled away the old ones, and did a great job. The slider couldn't be re-screened, and their cost of a new one seemed high, so I passed. I'll try try one of the local big box stores for something a bit more reasonable. It's an odd length, so may not be able to find one. All in all, very happy with their service and would not hesitate to recommend. read more

I called in the first time and CS is very helpful explaining all the different costs for replacing the screen and wheel on my sliding screen door. I dropped off my screen door and it was repaired in one day. Amazing! They charged me less than estimated cost because they said I only need one wheel replaced. In addition, they gave me some extra screws to replace the rest of the rusty screws free. Their CS is amazing and I will use they again. Highly recommended. read more

I would highly recommend this company. I had storm windows, new screens and screen doors added to my older 1920 home. Rick was awesome. He came out, measured and made sure everything was ready. The install was quick, easy and perfect. They come when they said they would, they do a great job and clean everything was picked up when they were done. I had a terrific experience with Mobile Screens Etc., Inc. (and their conjoined company Tualatin Valley Glass)! I recently moved to Lake Oswego and the home that I moved into was missing some screens and needed a few screen repairs. Wilson, who came to my home and measured all of my windows, helped provide accurate and fast service. He was very clear, explaining to me what I could expect in each stage of the work that would be done. Some of the screens I had simply needed repair, others needed to be replaced. Wilson gave me simple options and explained that it would take 1-2 weeks to get a few of the screens made and then ready for installation. Wilson was also able to repair a couple screens from his truck right in front of my home (saving some time and cost!). While Wilson came back to install the new screens, he noticed one of my windows had a broken balancer. He gave me a quote and let me know my options. A few weeks later, his co-worker Nick came and installed the balancer. The cost for everything done was also very reasonable. You might think you can just buy a replacement screen door at Lowe's or someplace and slap it in. But when you have these guys do the work, you realize how many things can go wrong that you never think of. When they to take measurements, I thought they'd gather the height and width alone. No..it's so much more than that. They found that the height in the middle is one half inch lower than the ends due to normal wear (sag) of screen door frame. That bit of information dictated the kind of frame because it needed some flexibility. It also revealed the casters had to be mounted on springs to adjust for the changes in height across the width of the door. When it came to installation, they were careful to ensure it fit correctly, lubricated the tracks, and fixed the latch in the frame. They did a fantastic job with everything. I couldn't be more pleased. read more
