They were great with my 7 year old, making her feel comfortable with all of the testing. They were great explaining things and she enjoyed her time actually. When reviewing the results, the psychologist was very thorough and explained everything quite well. She referred us to an eye doctor to rule out any potential functional issues, and I was shocked to learn that she did indeed have some functional issues. After receiving that diagnosis, the psychologist was better able to diagnose. I appreciated that she didn't immediately jump to a diagnosis and prescribe medication. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

I called on Thursday - for over and hour off and on - there was no answer (and no voicemail or outgoing message). (There is an option to email them through their website - but don't bother because you get a message saying due to high email volume to call them.) When I did get through, they did not apologize for not calling me back as they said they would on Tuesday, which I thought was very inconsiderate. I told them about my Tuesday new patient call, they took my name, put me on hold, and then I was disconnected. later that day they called me back and I got an appointment - with a social worker which is not what I requested. So I am looking elsewhere, this group is just not working for me.

Working with Youthful has been a terrible experience! We were referred to here for my son when he…read morewas 8 months old for a delay in crawling. Things started okay. The PT, Ellie was nice, but not very helpful in suggestions, and not that hands on and if he was fussy at all would usually cut our sessions short. Once he was crawling she moved us to once a month. From there we did not hear from her for three months, while he was trying to walk. I kept texting and calling, asking about appointments and sending videos of his walking, which seemed off. Eventually we heard back and she referred us to get orthotic braces. (Something we could have done months ago). Then she left. We got a new PT, Aliece who was nice, much more hands on, and more helpful with exercise suggestions. A little ways into it, we were put on a once a month schedule and it would take up to 3 weeks to hear from her for an appt. Again, we were left for 3 months with no appointment, at which point, they wanted to discharge him, which after speaking with the owner, he said was an error on his part for lack of communication. I reiterated all of these problems that we've had and that communication seems to be lacking everywhere there. Here we are, a month after leaving their service and I just got a text from Aliece about scheduling William for an appointment, this is 3 months from his previous appt, a month after speaking with the owner and the PT had no idea that we weren't going to Youthful anymore. This was after speaking with the owner! Horrendous communication and scheduling! There needs to be guidelines. We've been with them for over a year, my son just turned 2. We also had a speech eval done after we, his dr, and teacher, all shared concerns about his speech and the therapist asked some questions and then wrote us off and said we'd check back when he was 3. She didn't even observe his speech. The priorities of this company and therapists are clearly not aligned with providing crucial therapy to young children so that they may move and talk through this world and to support families with children that require extra support. If you care about your child do not waste precious moments with a company that can't even communicate with each other let alone the parents.

My hand had been immobile for about six weeks after the surgery to let things heal properly. Since I play guitar this all scared the crap out of me. Patty worked me hard, but it was all in the interest of healing. I wouldn't have had it any other way. And I can still play guitar, thanks to the great work my therapist did. I hope you never need the kind of physical therapy I did, but this is the place to go if you have to.

She had to beg to get medication for it from a very indifferent doctor who had no compassion for her. She has neuropathy and it is difficult for her to walk. She has to press the intercom to get assistance to go to the bathroom and they make her wait a long time before someone will finally help her. She has to set off the alarm on her bed to finally get someone to pay attention. They staff is inpatient with her and tries to get her to do physical therapy that she is unable to do because of the neuropathy in her legs. When a tech came in to get blood, they did not have a tourniquet available, so they just kept jabbing her vein in her right arm until she was screaming in pain and left with bruises and a large lump in her arm. We let the nurse know and they couldn't care less. I sent an email to them to let them know of my mom's mistreatment there and they have not even bothered to respond.
