I initially spoke on the phone with Johnnie, the most positive, knowledgeable office manager/receptionist ever. She helped get everything going with my insurance, scheduled all my visits and answered all my questions. Seriously, she is the insurance guru- she can find things out that no one else can! My first visit I worked with physical therapist, Gerald Parra. My medial meniscal tear could not be repaired (per my physician and the MRI results), so he looked for any areas that could be improved, muscles strengthened, etc. He took video footage of me walking and discovered things that could have led to my weaker left knee. He then came up with a plan to make things better. His 'think outside the box' approach to analyzing every small part of my foot/knee/leg has already paid off. Two weeks into therapy and I rode my bicycle 50 miles yesterday, pain-free and with stronger legs/knees. I've also worked with another PT there named Bles. She is amazing and also a 'think outside of the box' problem solver. Every visit she asks questions and re-evaluates what's working and what can be changed for the better. Between Gerald and Bles, I get two great minds analyzing my road to repair/improvement. There is also an amazing PT tech there named Arlene- who keeps me (and all the other clients there) on track with our exercises/stretches, and keeps us all laughing with her fun comments/awesome personality. Two more weeks left of therapy, and I will miss going there when it's over. If you have an injury, I truly believe that no one can do a better job to figure out your unique journey to recovery/improvement.

I met Dr. Mubarak through my insurance company, and am I glad I did. I can honestly say that his treatment plan has changed my life! I see him three days a week. When I started treatment late September, I was using a Walker to get around. Since this awesome professional came into my life, I am walking with a cane now. Talk about results! He is an excellent listener who knows his stuff. The therapy regimen is tough but necessary. I developed an infection he completely ignored--no blood work, no PICC line, no sense of concern whatsoever. His ego clearly outweighs his concern for patient care. The way he talks down to hospital staff is just another reflection of his arrogance. I've been fighting this infection for nearly a year, and have to have the entire knee replacement removed due to his negligence. Thankfully the doctors at Rush Hospital in Chicago are now cleaning up his mess. Avoid him at all costs.

The therapist he was assigned was Stephanie, from All of Me Therapy. During the 8 months she worked with him through Early Intervention, we saw huge improvements. After he was too old for EI, we continued therapy with Stephanie at the All of Me office in Dyer. Max had been with her for over two years now and though he is still working, the strides he had made have been amazing. Stephanie helped him unlock his words, and we are deeply grateful for that. Besides loving our therapist, we have had only positive experiences here. The receptionist is friendly and professional. We have met other staff at events they've held for the children and it's always been a pleasant experience. When Stephanie was on maternity leave, the SLP who filled in for her was flexible with our scheduling needs and provided excellent service to our family.
