THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! My name is Joann and my son has been working with Children's Therapy…read moreConnections since June 2014. He has a speech delay. When we started he could only say about 20-30 words. No sentences - just one to two word phrases and lot's of pointing. Having my son come weekly to both speech and occupational therapy has allowed him to make incredible progress. In only been four months and now my son says three - five word sentences! Kim, his speech therapist is a wonderful, kind and sweet therapist that has taken much care in her approach with my son. Sarah, his occupational therapist has taught him to stay calm, to start and finish task and most importantly to be patient and LISTEN to what is being asked of him. Before he could only do one command actions and now he can take three- four layered instructions and complete tasks. His confidence has grown because of his new ability to make sentences and follow specific directions. He is such a happy boy now. Thanks to Sarah and Kate we also found out about his food allergies that were hindering his progress. They are not doctors but advised me to check with my pediatrician to make sure if any allergies were present and sure enough he is lactose intolerant. This was so helpful in that I know what food and drinks I can buy for him that will help him. At first glance of this place, it was clear to me that it's is a state of the art facility. The place is immaculate and the variety of rooms/methods/toys were superior to their competitors. The staff is wonderful. They have an open door policy so that if I stay in the lobby and wait, I can hear everything my son is doing and saying! Sarah has given me excellent advise on how to keep up with therapeutic methods at home. Including methods on how to talk him through anxieties and meltdowns. Kate has given me excellent advise on how to approach my insurance company to make sure we are getting the right kind of coverage and allowances. Children's Therapy Connections is the best place to come for occupational and speech therapies. They care about the whole person, for that matter the whole family. They are professionals that have been instrumental in helping my son.

When my son was 18 months old and showing signs of delays I was told by the pediatrician, my family…read moreand friends, etc that boys take longer and to wait it out. My mama heart knew that time was not going to be the fix so I started calling therapy providers for help. Every place I called was enthusiastic until they found out I didn't have the 'right' insurance. The only place that did not close the door in my face was CTC. They evaluated my son for Speech and Occupational concerns and suggested a treatment plan that would fit my budget for a couple months until November, when I could apply for better Health Insurance coverage. Months later they suggested my son get evaluated by a neuropsychologist and referred me to a top rated Doctor that was In Network with my insurance and did not have a lengthy waitlist. I believe I waited 3 weeks for our appointment. The results of that evaluation were devastating, and I was quickly overwhelmed, feeling lost and heartbroken. But I was not alone. The therapists, technicians, administrative staff and even the owner of the clinic supported and guided my son and I into our new reality with the utmost compassion and care. They did not simply provide the therapy my son needed. I was provided parent training through observation, participation and private meetings with my son's therapy team. They taught me to understand my son and how to parent a child with different abilities. I was introduced to the parent support group where for the first time I was among parents that were in the same boat and faced the same challenges at home and out in the world. These other parents are now my best friends...and their children are my sons' friends. We look forward to playdates, park meet-ups and birthday parties where before I was afraid of or shy'd away from these activities. I am proud of how much progress my son has made with thanks to his dedicated therapy providers at Childrens therapy connections and I am grateful for the support and community they have given us. If you have a child that you suspect is delayed have them evaluated at CTC. There is a shortage of Therapy for children across the board so if you are going to be waitlisted anywhere you call, this is the waitlist you want to be on.

I have been a patient at the beverly location for dry needling, physical therapy for lower back,…read morehip, and feet over the years. Soprts and ortho has some of the best therapists working there I have encountere d for chronic , old injuries. She is outstanding. I have known many therapists in the past 30 years. She is truly excellent!

I was recommended to this woman owned business from my podiatrist who has a business near the area…read more I decided to try them in November, 2024. I was shocked how large this facility is. I have been to prior physical therapy business where there was only 1 therapist who dealt with you solely and I have also been to other therapy businesses where there are several therapists to choose from to get your therapy. I feel it's only fair to break down this review/rating into categories: Location: 2 stars - convenient Beverly location with ample parking in their private lot. I didn't feel comfortable parking in the lot - although there are tall light posts back there, they don't come on and it's completely dark in the lot. I would try my best to park on the side of the business but it's limited parking over there and they had started construction in that area as well where temporarily you couldn't park in those spaces. Treatment: 4 stars - physical therapists really work hard to help your condition. They thoroughly massage the injured area, give you exercises at the facility and at home. I feel the treatment did help my foot quite a bit. I didn't like the fact that even though I could of had an appointment with my scheduled therapist, if they were still working on someone, another therapist would guide you as to what your therapist notes are to do until your therapist is available. Staff: 2 stars - front desk staff was nice and friendly. The physical therapists were friendly as well which I could appreciate. What I didn't like is the unprofessionalism that not all but a few of the therapists had. While I would be getting my massages, certain therapists would be talking negatively about other clients out in the open by either saying their name outright or using first initial, last initial in front of everyone. I was also directly given information from two therapists about patients there (who they liked, who they didn't) and as a client, I shouldn't be told about any of that, it made me uncomfortable. I'm not going to be trusting that when I'm not around that I won't get talked about too and it's a valid concern. Staff needs to have a level or professionalism and be very careful also what's talked about due to HIPAA laws. Privacy: 1 star - The facility is built very well - each station had a table with a surrounding curtain to use for privacy but they were not being used most of the time (I only saw it used once while there). I saw body parts that I shouldn't of seen (e.g. a man's fully bare hairy chest (and he was a big man). These curtains should be used to give the privacy necessary for who is being treated and other clients around. That's what they are there for. Equipment: 5 stars - There is all kinds of equipment there to help you with whatever ailment on your body you have from exercise machines to balls to ultrasound machines for massage/pain therapy. I'm glad this business was able to help me but I do hope the things mentioned can be worked on because they are serious issues that can make or break someone continuing to use this facility.

Eval went ok but it's literally like pulling teeth to get any progress notes, in writing, to assess…read morehow our son was doing before the 6 month mark, which is ridiculous and then they charge you $20 for it. After requesting it several times, we never received anything. We expect it to be DOCTORED. Even after my husband asked for it, we are still waiting. Everyone has a right to their own and their child's medical records and progress notes within a reasonable amount of time. It's been over 2 weeks and they haven't sent ANYTHING. The attendance policy is written about being in the lobby 5 minutes before the session ends or not accumulating 5 CX or no shows. There was ONE instance where I came in the lobby as soon as the session ended and one where I came in three minutes before his session was over because I was dealing with our infant in our vehicle. Neither count against CX/NS. Asked for that and they sent NOTHING and said it would be $20 too. Let me reiterate that I never left the parking lot and I parked directly in front of the door so they could see that I was still there. I have never been late and have had to PERSONALLY cancel ONCE on 06/02. All other cancellations or no-shows can't be attributed to me because I was not the one that called our child off. They claimed to not even have my number . I was then told that he was now on week to week and that I was banned from bringing him because I had a poor attendance track record. I asked how can I be when I just recently started bringing him and the only time that I had to personally call him off was when there was an unfortunate incident I was not able to bring him 06/02. They said they can do what they want and banning wasn't written in their policy. Any of the other call offs were when others were bringing him because I never called him off nor was I bringing him to these sessions. When pressed further, there was an attitude, they were recording phone calls, as of some sort of intimidation tactic, which all phone calls/interactions are audio/video recorded from our side anyway. Taylor ganged up on me and scolded me if I was a child. They told me that I had a poor track record of bringing him when I had just started bringing him recently since his sessions began back in February 2026. When pressed about being banned for "attendance track record" being in writing they said that it wasn't in writing and I said well how do you attribute absences to someone that you have never talked to until a couple of weeks ago. They had no answer and that's why I don't feel safe with our son being there. I asked to speak to the owner and of course she never called back and this has been two weeks ago. So, we will be effectively removing our son out of this "program" because they literally make up things as they go and you cannot discriminate against someone bringing a child to a session. There have been no threats or anything that would make the staff feel unsafe but it seems like people start throwing around inflammatory statements when you start asking them why they aren't doing their job. Asking for progress notes is customary and assists with continuity of care, it should be a way to access these without having to beg 2-3 times, get ignored, & not receiving anything in return. The behavior of Taylor and the "owner", Stephanie, is unprofessional. Welcome to the world of parents actually holding you accountable and asking for things they have access to by law. There has been no call from the owner, as promised by Taylor (and was recorded), no email of our son's session records ending the week of 06/01. We don't just want the EVAL FROM FEBRUARY. We need session notes that show what our insurance has been paying for and our insurance stated that they have ZERO idea of that you're talking about claiming "push back" so they won't pay. Our son had the flu and wanted us to bring him to 2 sessions to get everyone sick. They said, "So what?" Complaints have been filed against Crown Speech with licensing and other regulatory agencies. We have audio and video proof that proves no one was threatening and you admitting to making up discriminatory attendance rules as you go. UPDATE: Of course, calling my husband to "tattle tale" made this no better. You cannot fire my 3 year old when TODAY, 06/08, was his last session with your program. Again, you still kept him on as a client AFTER you degraded and spoke to me in a demeaning tone so the phone call to my husband a few minutes ago was for what? You weren't dealing with me, remember? I put your business conduct out there for other parents to see and now you're angry. Just send us his RECORDS and session notes and eliminate your discriminatory behavior and practices.
