We purchased a house from Milestone and have been struggling with leaking refrigerant, which was finally traced back to a bent, leaky refrigerant line which Milestone installed. As this was clearly the builder's error, I reached out to the warranty department, which was extremely hard to get a hold of as they rarely pick up their phones or answer their emails. Finally, they got back to me with a flat out no without even having looked into the issue. Why have a warranty policy at all when you're not even remotely honoring it?! As a homeowner, I am outraged at their complete lack of responsibility and professionalism. Stay away from Milestone if you're looking to buy a house! read more

I don't know why Yelp won't all 0 stars, but that's the real score here. Was much longer, but I exceeded the Yelp text limit, so here's the slim down version. We've been in the house for only a few weeks but the nightmare has already begun. The biggest issue right now is that when it rains, our backyard turns into what I can only describe as the bank of the Mississippi River. We paid a $9k premium for a corner lot because the houses in VISTAS AT AUSTIN are only 5 feet apart. Our backyard was soaking wet on our pre-close punch walk. We were told that was because they had been running the sprinklers for the new sod. I'm no engineer, but I could tell that didn't make sense. When we did our final walk the day before close (a week later) the back yard was still unusable as it was so wet, muddy, mushy, etc. I brought it up again and was given the same answer. Brought it up to Milestone "un" warranty and they were useless in helping. It's been nearly a week since I turned in that warranty and no one has come by to try and figure it out. To rule out the sprinkler issue, we turned off the sprinklers at the control module. Checked at 24 hrs and 48 hrs after and the yard was still wet, muddy and unusable. It rained this past weekend. We happened to go out on the patio and to my absolute horror, I realized our backyard had standing pools of water. I put in the warranty request and followed up a few days later. They said call the person who did your final walkthroughs with you. I did, but to no avail. He called and said he would come by. I talked to him last Friday and explained the issue with the drainage concerns I have. He said as long as it can dry within 48 hours, then it is not an issue. He also said the neighborhood is built to drain in the direction of my home, so I will have lots of water in my yard when it rains and repeated the nonsense about (basically sucking it up) the 48-hour rule. I have already filed a PIR with the Attorney General's Office and TDLR for all documentation and/or complaints related to Milestone Community Builders, LLC, Milestone Community Homes, Inc and GJ Holdings LLC to better understand the extent to which these issues exist and to better understand what, if any, corrective actions have been taken to help Milestone operate in a way that is fair to consumers. Milestone sold me a home, with a $9k lot premium, that Milestone knew would flood every time it rained. At least that is what one Milestone representative has shared with me. I hope we can reach resolve soon I have avoided putting names in this review to avoid appearing to go after any one individual at Milestone because this seems more systemic, rather than isolated to one or two individuals. The reviews here on Yelp provides a wealth of potential witnesses who have also been victims of ill and concerning practices at Milestone. I have retained all communications and other documentation with all Milestone employees. In consultation with my advisors, we are preparing letters to go out to Garrett Martin, Alan Topper, Richard Topper, Castletop Capital Partners, and GJ Holdings, Milestone executives and sales members, and city of Austin code compliance requesting evidence be preserved if Milestone keeps refusing to move expeditiously to resolve this matter. Don't do business with Milestone. They don't fulfill their obligations. I bought a home (without knowing) that they never closed out the building permit on it. Now I try to install solar on the home and can't because I have an open permit that Milestone refuses to submit the final report and close the permit on. One of their VPs over email basically told the solar company to f*** off about closing my permit. From what I've been told I have zero recourse. Absolutely ridiculous to not finish something that you do for a living, screwing the future owners. They are either incompetent or as other reviews on here have said "sleaze balls" that are basically scam artists. Don't work with this company, go find a reputable company that won't screw you over. read more

Not only are their houses put together terribly (many faults found in the house after signing), but their contract is insane and gives the buyer absolutely zero rights so they can and will take advantage of you in any way possible! They lied about their contract details, refuse to respond or communicate with us after our issues arose, and they have been extremely unethical on many fronts! They took $10k in earnest money from me after my loan was denied which their contract states this is a reason they will refund it, but they refuse to give it back! My lawyer said she's never seen such a terrible contract in her life. Every person we tell the story to in the Austin area somehow knows all about this company and isn't surprised about their actions and they all say how much of a terrible reputation they have in town. Milestone has been a huge disappointment to us and did not do much to help remedy what they had mistakenly done to our house. We went to the Design Center in October 2020, after securing the lot that our house was to be built on. Jessica was the woman that helped us at the Design Center and she's also the one that made a huge mistake that is now costing us our entire kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I have attached photos of us clearly picking out WHITE CABINETS and this photo was attached to all of our construction orders and emails. Instead of writing the code for white cabinets on our contract, Jessica wrote down the color code for GRAY CABINETS. Jessica had the audacity to print out our selected custom options and went down the list with us verbally explaining that it's white when she noted it with the Gray code. This is our first home, so quite frankly, we didn't know that cabinets have to be ordered in the color selected. When we checked on the house and saw the gray cabinets, we thought it was primer paint and that they were planning to paint it white or something. We quickly realized a few weeks later that they were not what we selected. The issue was brought to our salesman, Jessica (who admitted fault in the email that was cc'd), and the VP. They only offered us $1,500 to help remedy the situation and we had either 2 options 1) accept the home with the selected options and $1,500 OR 2) forfeit the contract, get our deposit back and they will sell the house as-is. The estimated cost we received from a 3rd party contractor was about $6,000 to get the kitchen and bathroom cabinets professionally spray painted white. Even with our work bid, Milestone refused to compensate us for their mistake. We weren't going to lose the house, so we decided to close the house with the selected options and the $1,500. Now we know and we will never be purchasing a Milestone home ever again. Jessica deserves consequences for completely ruining our first-time home buying/building experience and leaving us with a home we do not love. 0 star if I could. That 1 star is because Dean (sales) and Ben (construction manager) have been nice enough to sympathize and help us. read more

I was a single first time home buyer and purchased a home in cool springs TX. Communication was very lacking and inconsistent from the beginning. It's been about 6 months into construction and still had no closing date. Unfortunately i was unable to move forward and now this multi-million dollar company states they are unable to refund my earnest money i worked hard for. Mind you the home i bought for $268,000 now was expected to sell for over 500K in a matter of the months it was being built. I signed the cancellation forms that stated I would receive the full amount back, however Eric V. decided to delete the document he messed up and now wants me to send the revised document stating $0 back! We've bought into a milestone community, Arbor Ridge. Our house was built ~2015. We're the second owners, original owners were retirees and kept the property in really nice shape, we purchased in 2017. We just completed a pretty substantial plumbing repair, specifically the mainline under the slab was belly'ed, sloping in the wrong direction which was causing us perpetual backups and clogs - a pretty serious and unexpected problem for a 5y/o house. We got quotes all over the place as far as repair, 7-20K, we ended up going with a plumber we trusted and the problem has been resolved. What stinks is we felt Milestone really did not stand behind their product. A new build shouldn't have this type of issue (if done meticulously). We reached out several times and after no real resolution from milestone decided the issue was urgent enough to address out of pocket. Since the repair, we are really satisfied with our house but have some lingering doubts about craftsmanship given this initial issue. In hindsight I'd probably avoid Milestone in favor of a builder that stands behind their product. read more

Beware. They hire the cheapest contractors that don't know what they're doing. They also don't monitor or regulate them because whoever did the tile in our bathroom put the tile directly on the wood, and any reputable tiler knows to never lay tile directly on wood. So our shower started leaking, and ended up being $1,500 to fix. This is also something they know they'll get away with because there's no way to tell this has happened(unless the inspector literally demo'd the bathroom), until it starts leaking/cracking/breaking. And of course the 1 year warranty has already ended. I reached out to them and they never even responded. The tile and bathroom contractor we used to fix it says Milestone tried to get him to tile all the bathrooms in their houses, and he turned it down because it was laughable and also a slap in the face with how low they were offering. So that right there tells you whoever they did end up hiring to do their houses either doesn't have the experienced needed or because they're getting paid peanuts they don't care about the crappy job they're doing. Very sad and frustrating. If you are building a home with them, I would go by every other day and do your own walkthroughs and monitor the work as it goes...because so much of the stuff they skimp on, you won't find until later. All of our neighbors have had something come up, and even if you find it before the 1 year warranty ends, it's like pulling teeth to get them to do anything, if they ever do. Lot's of run arounds and gaslighting. They tried to say a 5 pound dog could cause the backyard to have drainage issues and that it was our fault. Thankfully they finally put in a French drain for us, but it took months of fighting for it! So many other neighbors have the same issue and they never got a resolution. So definitely stay on top and bug the heck out of them until they fix whatever it is! read more

Even though we were in California and were coordinating from out of state, Andy from sales was very helpful and always available to answer questions along the way. Bought a townhome in The Grove. Buyer beware. This is the 6th new home we have purchased or built and by far the worst experience. They changed floor plan without our consent. Already 4 months behind schedule because they failed the framing inspection 4 times - maybe a partial result of them having 5 construction managers in 6 months with each telling us different things about changes. Cost us a lot of money as we have to now move twice and still have no idea when it will be completed. The only response we got was "I am truly sorry for the delays". Do not believe anything they tell you - they are experts at lying. Only decent thing I can say is the current construction manager seems to finally know something about how to build. What I experience is millstone makes any changes after the contract is signed since we are in the trap. Milestones can change any design at their desired time without consulting. It has been a very unpleasant and cunning experience with Milestone. This is not the first time I am building the house with the builder. I have never had a bitter and unprofessional experience in this magnitude with any builder or with any other business or merchant that I was receiving the service. It looks like a setup for trapping the people. Before signing the house, you get so many calls and emails about promotion, how elite the Milestone is, and how professional benchmark it has set up and catered to the consumers. However, during the Journey, it felt like all of that is a scam. we paid 30+ premium for lot for greenview belt. Also We were told that we would have two trees on our land(back yard aka side yard), we particularly choose lot seven because of the trees. And the creek and green belt behind our property, and we were told that there would be a Wrought Iron fence overseeing the creek and green belt. now We are told one tree does not belong to our land, and the WI fence is changed to the Wooden Fence. I requested to refund the lot premium but they declined . Builders response " I'm afraid I don't have the news you were looking for - At this time our team is not changing the fence and we are not offering compensation. Fence plans can change over the duration the community gets built out - the property beyond the creek is a private drive and was done for privacy reasons. Be Warned! I signed a contract with Milestone at the Crosswinds community in Kyle back in August 2024. Now here in October 2024, and the building permits still are "pending". Their VP of Sales Greg stated that they missed the "fine print" of the community contract where the city had placed a cap on how many houses could be built until a new water tower had been installed and functioning. Because of this, they have NO ETA on when construction can start. They have lied to me, telling me that there's movement, but they forget building permits are public record and one can check the status on them. I have asked for my earnest money back and they are giving me the run around, just stating they will, but its always, "tomorrow", "next week". I still will not get calls from their upper management, such as Fred, who can't pick up the phone, only text. Should have listened to all the YouTube videos and other comments where even Realtors are calling this builder Texas' worst builder. read more

We bought a home in the Larkspur community in Leander. We made the decision quickly because we needed to get under contract to meet our deadline to move for my husband's job so, after reading reviews I had buyer's remorse but, overall our experience has been good and I would recommend checking out this builder to others. The build process ok. Our house did a lot of sitting with no work being done. Communication was one sentence on Fridays from our sales agent and sometimes the information was incorrect (because we were checking on the house frequently). Milestone switched project managers and with the new PM things started to move. At the end of the day, we did close on time and had a beautiful house to move into. Overall, the build quality is fine. We have now been in the house for over a year and only had some minor warranty issues which I do have to say were handled promptly. The workmanship is good - not great, but good when you compare to the nightmare stories I've heard about other builders from friends, family, and the news. There are some things that could have been done better but nothing too serious or that couldn't be fixed in time when we start to customize the house to our specific tastes. For instance, our lot is large for the community at just under half an acre on a cul-de-sac however, they didn't add enough fill dirt to the lot so most of our grass is dead in the back but, some creative xeriscape can fix that. Overall, I do like the way the house turned out and it kind of became a game for us during the build process to see how it unfolded since we didn't get to pick anything and weren't allowed to make any changes. So, in summary. I do love the house. I feel that the workmanship was good for a production builder and we love the community and location. The minor defects that cropped up were fixed promptly by the builder. read more

I LOVE my beautiful home at Hills of Bear Creek. Every little detail of my home was thoughtfully planned out for functionality making it the best family home I've lived in. My sales counselor and builder made the buying experience painless and enjoyable. Any little issue I've run into in my new home has been addressed and taken care of immediately. They are very responsive to buyers and don't just ditch you once you've moved in. On closing day, I walked into a lovely gift basket waiting for me in my kitchen. Besides being super thoughtful and a nice touch, it was actually helpful on our first few nights of everything being in boxes having some coffee and snacks (and other sweet items.) The assistant builder was equally wonderful making for a five star experience all the way around from start to finish. The vibe in our neighborhood is amazing. All of the neighbors are so friendly, and the surrounding areas such as the green belts, mailbox areas, entrance, pool area etc. are impeccably maintained. You can tell they put a lot of effort and pride into keeping the neighborhood in tip top shape. I'm very excited to raise my family in Hills of Bear Creek. I will definitely recommend Milestone to anyone I know in the market for a new home! read more

The building process has been a pleasant experience. The initial meeting with Justin was mostly to get information about the community and the different plans offered but once we locked in on a specific lot, we didn't want to risk losing in. We put in our deposit and from there we felt like there were some areas that could have been communicated with us more clearly. For example, the referral bonus has to be done before contract happens, specific items on the home must be mentioned before the contract and many of these items are unknown to you UNTIL after the contract is signed and then it's too late. However, Justin was able to go back and do some addendum to the contract but seems a little shady. The building process took about what was expected. We enjoyed witnessing the home go from a vacant lot to our present home. The current issue we have is the lack of communication with some issues with standing water along a retaining wall dividing us and our neighboring house. The house next door sits higher than us and does not have any gutters on the side so water runoff comes straight down to our yard. The swale along the retaining wall does not carry water out the way it should and we have some large amounts of standing water that have not gone away since the day we've moved in. The builders have not responded to any request for follow up and this is a huge concern - mosquito season is coming up and this really needs to be addressed. We are not the only home along our block with this issue. (And no, our sprinkler system has not been on along the side of the home). Otherwise, MileStone really did make our home buying experience a pleasant one. They just need to follow through and own up to the standing water issue that we have in our small yard. read more

Working with this group has been abysmal at best. Would give negative stars if I could. I am in the process of purchasing a Condo in The Grove community. Everything was smooth and the group of representatives was highly responsive prior to my commitment to the place. As soon as I signed paperwork, they dropped off the face of the Earth. The paperwork set a closing date in June and after absolutely no communication or response from Milestone, I had to ask my lender to confirm my closing date, which they informed me was actually scheduled for a full month later than stated in the paperwork (in mid July) with ZERO communication from Milestone. Since then, they have not once, not twice, but OVER FIVE TIMES set closing and walkthrough dates and continue to change those dates last minute. Literally the day of, sometimes two hours before we were scheduled to meet, and always with minimal information supplied: "We have run into some problems and have to push back your closing date. Apologies." The "problems" they continue to encounter are simply scheduling setbacks. If the building is not complete, DO NOT SCHEDULE A CLOSING DATE. I understand needing to wait a while and I understanding construction setbacks. However, scheduling and rescheduling indefinitely is the most unprofessional behavior imaginable when selling a home. This behavior has forced me to reschedule work meetings, furniture and appliance deliveries, TRAVEL PLANS, and numerous personal conflicts over and over. Furthermore, I am between places right now, and was only expecting to pay for a short-term rental for 2 weeks max. It has been well over a month and I am losing money. Do NOT work with this team. When I email with complaints, they simply ignore me. If anyone has a contact in their corporate office, please let me know. read more

Weeks after closing we still have issues with: - drywall - cabinets - gutter - exterior paint, and caving asphalt in front of the driveway. Their quality of pretty much every aspect of construction is way below anything we've experienced in Austin with three other builders in the last 20 years. If you are in a process of working with Milestone, don't close until every last bit of quality control is up to your satisfaction. My husband and I were in the process of building our new home in Larkspur Leander community located in Leander and dropped our contract 4 mo. through our build. We signed last October 2017 and dropped mid February 2018. Dropping was not planned, it was a decision made for the best. Before deciding to use Milestone, we read their yelp reviews as well as other builders and despite reading the horror stories of Milestone we still went forth. We said, well that's just the minority complaining!! Well unfortunately we became part of that statistic....unhappy customers..However, the bright side, we still feel dropping our contract was the best decision we made!! we're saving tons of money for future fixes if we decided to move forth and continue We were once excited customers who went several times a week to check on the build and yes there were times we though, " nice work" but plenty more times we though, "oh, my F*&€*ing God, why did they accept this like that?" Skyler, the construction manager's simple response was "it's fine". The last, via phone update (phone call meeting) my husband had was the deciding factor that made us say, "it's not worth it." It became a fight to make things right and we did what we felt was best for our future. *** If you decide to build with Milestone, either Stay on top of everything & hire an inspector for the pre-dry wall phase... or better yet don't go back and check on the home build several times a week like we did and get stressed out. I purchased a home with Milestone a few months ago. The house was already specced and was in the process of being built by the time I came into the process, so I can't comment on the option selection process. I worked with Adrian as my sales rep and he did a fantastic job. I'm very thorough so I asked a lot of questions. Adrian has always been quick and responsive to my inquiries. I also want to call out Manny, the construction superintendent for my development. My inspector found a few issues during the final inspection, and I brought the list to Manny. He made sure that all of the problems were quickly taken care of before closing. I ask a lot of questions, and Manny has always been quick to respond, even after I've already closed. I can't say enough good things about him! I have not had any issues that require warranty work, so I can't comment on that. I will update this review should my experience change. But overall, it has been a very pleasant experience so far! Disclaimer: I should note that Milestone has asked home buyers to write online reviews in exchange for a Home Depot gift card. Poor quality construction! We backed out of our contract. Thank god we did, seeing all these bad reviews and talking to others who own milestone homes, we haven't met many happy owners. Look in the not recommended section, they had to tear down someone's second story just to rebuild it because they did such a bad job. We were set to build in larkspur, but the sloppy workmanship was terrible and the construction manager didn't care. The construction manager would just say it's "cosmetic" etc. To summarize the issues: -Roof was leaking -Terrible Quality lumber used for framing -Framing was crooked and inconsistent -Doors not hung properly -Attic door wouldn't open because they didn't follow the plan and the house was so off -Cracked Trusses -Numerous Cracks/Gaps/holes from sloppy siding and framing. What did they do? They filled in all the holes with spray foam. -Foundation and framing were off and did not line up resulting in overhanging patio pylons This was all on a brand new house that wasn't even done yet! I feel sorry for whoever buys that house. The only good thing was our sales person Tiffany, she got our earnest money back. Looks like she is gone now so I wouldn't recommend milestone to my worst enemy. We had to jump through hoops to find another house when we left our milestone build. The whole situation was terrible and super stressful. Seriously read the reviews, these guys don't care. They take the pics off the main yelp page that are not flattering and their employees write positive yelp reviews. They also get realtors to write positive reviews. I went to almost a dozen different subdivisions under construction and milestones were the worst, beer bottles everywhere, broken windows etc. There are so many builders here in Austin take your time and look around, there is absolutely no reason to choose this company over another builder. This was so terrible, looking back I get angry milestone dragged us through this, glad we got out and didn't get stuck with a money pit house. Over the course of my life I have had poor experiences with different companies here and there. Nothing compares to the experience I had with Milestone. I have over 5 years of data I could share with you from the flooded master bedroom to the $60,000 of foundation repair, however, I am so completely done with this company that I didn't want to waste time writing an extensive review. I will say this. I bought a Milestone home in the Eastwood at Riverside community in Austin, Texas and it was the worst financial decision I have ever made. Milestone knew the soil was bad there and did not do their due diligence to grade and add additional soil. All of my neighbors were having shifting occur on their homes; my home just happened to be the most severe. Milestone also avoided the problem like the plague and it took nearly 2 years to fix and sell my home (I have texts from one of their employees stating that they knew about these issues). My foundation had a slope of almost 5% and needed 24 steel beams placed 20 feet into the ground to correct the slope. Stay away. read more

Beautiful homes but not well made. Our home significant structural issues in the top floor. Took them five months just to get back to us on how they were going to fix the issue. Our home is and was not the only house in our community with structural issues. My husband and I will not buy from Milestone again. The ONLY good thing about Milestone is Saulma B. She works for corporate. She is thorough, and works hard to make things right and her communication is on point. She is the reason we didn't seek legal council. I purchased a Milestone Home in the Vistas of Austin. Since it was during COVID, I could understand that it took them over a month to fix the leaking window in my front hall. What is not ok is that their warranty doesn't cover the air conditioner that doesn't substantially cool the new home. On hot days, the interior is around 80-85 and can't get any cooler. According to the warranty company, the A?C unit is just fine and they installed a unit that won't cool the home below this on hot days. Milestone refuses to make the situation right and their model home gets well below that during the heat of the day. I fell like this is false advertising and that the model home probably had a different unit installed so that people wouldn't question the heat issue. Very sad. read more

I love my new home! Haven't had any problems.....yet. Lol. I had the grass replaced in the backyard and a couple of spots on the walls repainted. Other than that, everything turned out fine. We had the best realtor! Her name is Rebecca Stockhorst. She helped us with paperwork and making sure all was repaired before we signed any documents. The neighborhood is nice, it has a pool/splash pad and 2 playgrounds. It also has some walking trails. The school is awesome! My daughter is so excited to be there and likes it way more than Patton in Austin. Its a great starter home but probably not a forever home. I'll update the review if anything goes wrong. read more

I have absolutely nothing nice to say about Milestone. I really don't want to give them a 1 star. ****PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING A MILESTONE HOME!!!!!***** Once they have your money they could care less about you and your home. I have had multiple issues with Milestone but the latest is the icing on the cake. We spent a pretty penny for a Lot on the Greenbelt at The Hills of Bear Creek in Manchaca. I asked right when we moved in if they could level the dirt behind the fence because the ruts were holding water and creating a mosquito breeding ground. I was told by the builder we will get some dirt back there. It never happened. Now I am the only one on the greenbelt that has weeds over my fence because the HOA is unable to mow it because of the ruts. HOA is telling me that they have reached out to Milestone to fix the ruts so they can mow. I submit a warranty request for Milestone to come look at the back of my fence and fix it. It took a week for a warranty guy to contact me. When he showed up and looked at everything including the rusted fence post that is sticking up on under my fence like a rusted stake but is buried on the other side in the ruts. He said he would see what we could do. I got a call that he had great news talked with the builder and they would bring the tractor over and fix the ruts. TODAY I get a call telling me that they can't fix it because it would cause flooding on in my backyard. WHAT!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME LET ME TELL YOU I AM THE ONLY HOME WITH THIS ISSUE NO ONE ELSE IS FLOODING and then he told me it was a small problem that was associated with a bigger problem from when they first built the easement. Not there problem anymore When you build a home and spend the amount of money that you do on a home you expect good customer service. I am not asking for a lot I just want milestone to fix what they didn't finish. These houses suck!! These builders put up houses like an assembly line. My floor after only a year was coming up all over after already fixing it once.. the walls are uneven, doors and light fixtures aren't even level!! Do NOT buy from them! They're cheap for a reason!!! read more

Be sure to get all repair requests and APPROVALS in writing. They "address" your concerns about problems but no guarantee to fix. If they make appointment for a repair, you sit and wait and sit and wait, and they no show. Second appointment they "cancel" for some reason. Buyers beware! read more

We purchased a spec home out here in West Cypress Hills. The home is decent per say, but issues keep coming up. The last one has me writing this review since it is so bothersome. We had a water line that was not connected properly under the front yard. Normally, or water usage is very low, as is our bill. The month we had this unknown, underground leak due to the faulty connection by Milestone, we used more than 20,000 gallons of water and our bill was absorbent. We have been trying to get Milestone to help with it, as this is not our fault and we should not be held liable for an issue created by the Milestone building process. They claim that the "do not help with water issues", thus it is our responsibility to pay for the problem they allowed to happen. I guess our next step will be a lawyer, hate to see that happen, but if not this will continue to happen to others moving forward. read more

Think twice before getting a house with Milestone Builders. If you do, please make sure that you don't get a huge list of items to be taken care as "warranty items". I live in one of the Milestone Communities and we have had drainage issues on the sides of our house since before we moved in. We brought it up during our punch walk and it obviously isn't an issue that was going to get resolved over night prior to our closing. The punch list was signed with hand written exceptions from my boyfriend who is also a homeowner. The construction "superintendent" said that we were not the only people in the neighborhood with this issue and that there were internal discussions going on with how to resolve it. He also mentioned that Milestone xeroscaped a few side yards already and were deciding if they were going to do that to the rest of the side yards. So, nothing ever got resolved and we finally submitted a warranty request (even though it's not technically a warranty issue since it was like that from before closing). We were told by our warranty rep by email that Milestone would not be correcting the problem and to contact the HOA. This is not an HOA issue and the HOA should not be responsible with defective work completed by Milestone. My boyfriend then contacted Manny and met with him on site, only to be told the same thing...that the first time we recorded the issue was in January when we submitted the warranty request, so Milestone was not going to accept responsibility. This is absolutely unacceptable and beyond infuriating!! We are currently working on getting a list of every home in our neighborhood that currently has drainage issues and also making notes of the houses that have already had corrective work completed by Milestone. This will become a much bigger issue since Milestone does not want to accept responsibility for their defective work. Unfortunately, Milestone has not proven to be the homebuilder we thought we signed a contract with. read more

Milestone did eventually repair all of the damage and fix the improper flashing installation. They spent much of their time addressing the outside. And they checked the flashing and replaced the trim on all of the exterior windows and replaced the leaking front door. The drywall repairs took the longest and they needed to redo a few spots because the paint kept bubbling. If you know where to look, you can see the repairs. It took until November for all the repairs. They sent ServicePro in January to check for any new moisture and didn't find any. read more

Do not buy a house from them! The company does not care I had a irrigation leak it was fix but they do not want to give me my 900.00 back on the leak!!! They houses are build poorly!!!
