Mile High Glass was excellent to work with, and because of my customization and delays, I did not make it easy for them. I had two projects for them. The first was replacing several panes in our 1925 bungalow's wooden framed windows. It's hard to find many glazers that do this kind of work, and they did it well. The second project was to build 2 custom double pane windows on either side of our fireplace. They had some choices of custom glass, but we wanted to have something very unique. After a several weeks we found some amazing glass at D&L Art Glass supply. Mile High picked it up from them. I feared the up-charge for this specialty glass, but without me saying anything Garrett,. the owner, said he'd keep the price the same. Quinten oversaw the crew as they worked skillfully and efficiently. The windows by the fireplace came out perfect with one exception. The wood trim extended 1/8th inch into the pane area. Quentin came quickly to check it out, agreed it would be better cut thto e trim back, and within a very short time, took care of the trimming himself and the windows are beautiful! read more

This company is listed on the Tom Martino Referral list. The number shown for them is no longer in service. When I did find a good number for them I was told the Brighton Office was closed. I contacted them and was told someone would call the next day to schedule a visit. No call. I called this morning and was told the order was there and someone would call back within 30 minutes, that was four hours ago. I guess the Tom Martino Referral List isn't such a great place for good companies. read more

Technically my windshield was replaced, but with so many options out there if I could do it all over again I'd go somewhere else. I had them come replace on a Monday during a week when I was going to be out of town. Convenient, right? Not really. The technician left my car unlocked (noticed by my dogsitter on Wednesday evening) and then my car was stolen that night. Did Mile High Auto Glass steal my car? No. Is it possible that someone wandered by, saw it was unlocked and came back for it that night? Possibly. Fact is that the security of my vehicle was compromised as a direct result of Mile High Auto Glass working on it. When I called I spoke with a woman, told her what happened and she was defensive and unapologetic. Told me that her technician said he definitely locked the doors because he *always* does. Mistakes happen, sure, but I'd prefer to spend my future dollars with a company that takes ownership of them and would recommend that anyone reading this do the same. For the record, I wasn't asking for a discount or refund. I simply wanted to let her know that her technician blew it so they could try to ensure it didn't happen again. Also, an apology for the oversight would have been nice. read more

Please save yourself a huge headache. Do not take your vehicle to this shop. We left the vehicle with them to replace the windshield. We were called later in the day and drove across town in rush our to pick up the car. When we arrived, I found that not only was there adhesive on the paint, hood and glass (running down the inside of the car) but the body panels that needed to be removed for the replacement were placed on the car and not fastened. The representative was extremely nice and very apologetic, stating that she was embarrassed. She was very helpful and understanding. She asked if we could leave the car overnight as the technician was not there. We felt this was understandable as sometime people make mistakes. We were called back the following day at 3pm to pick up the car. When we arrived we found the same adhesive on the car (no big deal we can clean glue off) however we found that the remote start did not work. (The antennae is adhered to the inside of the windshield and the technician apparently did not remove it before he pried the windshield out, damaging the wiring.) The representative asked us to just take the car and he would have the technician come to our house the following day and make the repair. When we arrived at home it was raining. Water was also running down the inside of the windshield. I called the shop and the representative accused me of washing the car. This is Friday June 2. It rained. He told me I should have not had the car in the rain, and became very argumentative. The windshield was replaced two days ago, the remote start does not work now and the windshield now leaks. While the female representative was terrific, the workmanship was substandard and the male representative was worse than the work. Not only did they not complete the work in two tries, but they caused additional damage to our vehicle. If all of this sounds like an experience you would like to have and you think you want 2 out of 5 star service, take your car to Mile High. If not, read the reviews and take it somewhere else. Fortunately, our insurance is handling the aftermath. Read below and see if you want the job done right the first time or if you want them to try twice at their facility and then continue more times at your house amd then call it trying to accomodate you. The best way to accommodate a customer is not continued efforts amd excuses but to do it right thw first time. Mile high glass, the service tech mush have been a mile high because he got black silicone all over the inside of my car. all over the tan roof liner!!! then i watched him rub it in and make it ten times worse. what a joke. they did however set me up with a upholstery guy to fix it, but when i got it back from him it looked terrible. after a long ordeal of the owner not listening to what i have to say he then called the police on me for not leaving the store. all I wanted was to make sure that my car was going to be fixed right. the way it was before they butchered it. Where do I begin to explain the terrible experience we have had with this company. Let me start off by saying they came highly recommended by a few people and the initial consultation was spot on. Its way came next that was unexpected and unpleasant. Greg came out and inspected what we needed, quoted us a price and the work was to begin once the window had arrived from being ordered. Due to weather, they did have to reschedule once the glass did arrive which was fine. Living in Aurora, sometimes its not easy to get things done quickly. Fast forward to installation day. Now just a little background on the window, its just a single, double pane sheet of glass that was broken out of our condo windows, not a huge job, no paint required, standard huge living community style glass. The installer arrives and was slightly confused about what window he was installing but we got things moving. Got furniture out of the way and he started looking at the glass and started the job. After about 5 minutes of complaining the window was not going to come out easily, he had to get a glass cutter and cut the glass and hammer out pieces onto both my floor and the ground outside (2 stories down). I should mention that he put down nothing to catch the glass or debris inside or out. Fast forward 30 minutes and he is finally ripping out the frame of the old window and installs the new one. He proceeded to ask me for my vacuum so he could start the clean up, he cleaned up, told me that the window needed to set, not to clean it our put to much pressure on it for about 12 hours, being the holiday, I tipped the man, and off he went. Fast forward 12 hours, I go to clean off the window and there are smudges/finger prints on the outside of the glass, and a scratch in the glass. It was the weekend so I called during business hours and spoke with Amber about setting up a repair of the glass, like a cleaning or buff the scratch out, I dunno, anything, and she said no problem and set it up. When that day arrived, Scott called me and said he was going to be about 45 min late and could we reschedule. Due to our location in Aurora, Amber had informed me that a window of 3-5 was all that was available, and is what I attempted to explain to Scott when rescheduling. He was not happy about the time frame I was told and told me that all they were going to come do was take a picture and see back at the shop what they could do. I explained that I was under the impression they were going to fix it somehow but either way, I needed to be present when they came and took the pictures. You have to be in my living room to even access the window, because again, 2 stories up. This set Scott off big time and the more I demanded my being on site during this "photo" the more enraged he became. I tried numerous times to ask him why he was so upset, talking to me they way he was, etc. As a small business owner myself, I tried to use that to my advantage and calm down the situation, NOPE. He broke into a tangent about how sick and tired he is of potheads calling his store thinking its a bong shop. Explaining to him that this had nothing to do with me, only set him off even more until he finally started screaming I will just come by and take the picture, I am not going to do *insert fun words from your vocab* and the sound of a old phone clicking as I was hung up on. My partner who had also been dealing with the situation, was first to meet with Greg, sign the paperwork, and take payment from, went ahead and gave Scott a call back and it was mostly cursing and that was the end of it. As someone who works with general contractors on a daily basis with more respect than this establishment could muster to snag the sale for, I implore you to never do business with this company. The outcome ought to have been predictable after the owner, with whom I specifically asked to speak, refused to shake my outstretched hand as I introduced myself. After a series of miscommunications regarding a window replacement, I drove to the shop in an effort to figure out what all caused the confusion with the hope of avoiding future like problems. I'm a 67 year old female with a successful track record in my own business. I understand the demands of providing good, dependable customer service. I've had them fix two chips in my windshield. They've always been very professional. Quick appointments that took less than thirty minutes and the work was done when they said it would be. Not sure how their pricing compares to other places, I go because it is close to my house. Both repairs have lasted over a year so far. I sit and wait for the work to be done and they seem to be very professional with other customers too. I know that windshield repair is a tiny job, but I am surprised by the negative reviews. read more

Don't waste your money. Sales rep Greg said 5 to10 days for install. 10 days later says it is 10 days to get glass and then they schedule install. Install date was set for Monday between 10-12. Monday they call to set a new install date because I supposedly didn't confirm first appointment. Yes that works I guess is not a good confirmation. 4 hours later doors not finished and door is off from side glass. Out of plumb. Very rude. Asked one question and sales person started yelling and blaming attitude on me. Don't ask any questions!!!! Would rather have bought a door at Walmart. Door will barely open and they said it will loosen over time. I think it is great that a house was built in the 60's has walls that straight and square. Since it is a custom shower door built to match the walls exactly does not explain why they have so much trouble installing a custom door other than one guy left for 2 hours read more

Not only is the owner a raging lunatic when you ask for them to fix issues with work they do not check, I understand that you may have to come out more than once when completing a job but no reason to get mad at the customer when your company installed something wrong , but they also have troubles paying their employees ! I put a work order in on Friday to who have some weather stripping replaced on a unit Down town Denver and they said they would be in on Tuesday morning. However, because of some difficulties with my C.C. I could not put down a deposit for the 'materials'. After speaking with Amber I told her I would just mail her a check for the total amount and she said that would be fine. Tuesday passed and they did not come to fix the apartment. After calling about this issue I was informed that they would not go in without a deposit. However, this was not conveyed to me Friday when the original order was placed! Amber was VERY RUDE and hostile on the phone. She was not helpful and had terrible customer service skills. I was appalled. Since then I have cancelled all services with this company and moved onto someone who is willing to help me and was kind in the process! I would not recommend this company to ANYONE! read more

Mile High Glass is a complete fraud. After contracting with them to replace a window in my residence that was damaged by a recent storm, I come to find out the owner Scott refuses to stand behind or even inspect work that is questioned. At first everything seamed fine but after waiting the recommended time I cleaned the new glass only to find scratches and finger print smudges inside the glass panels from where the installer glued them. When I called Scott and asked for someone to come back out and look that the work, he said he would get around to it when he could. When pressed he went into a cursing tirade threatening me stating that if I had the nerve to come to his shop he would "take care of the situation like a man", clearly taunting me for a confrontation. After giving Scott a couple weeks to respond with no contact, I had no choice to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. What the nerve Scott is claiming nothing is wrong with my window. Long story short, I'm contacting a real professional, getting it replaced again and sending a letter from that contractor to the CC company. Still have a crappy window and I'm out all of this back and forth. Don't waist your time with these crooks. read more
