This is what nightmares are made of: Promised a 1-month project. It took them 5. The quality of the…read morework was amateur at best and catastrophic at worst. I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. I don't have the energy to upload pics but maybe later. Just trust me; pick someone else. Signed, Exhausted, Angry and Broke

We always knew what to expect, got frequent updates as the work progressed, and never felt rushed or confused by any part of the process. She really went above and beyond. The work actually got done on time and the crew did an amazing job getting everything secured and cleaned after the work finished. Most importantly, the results were fantastic - truly exceeded our expectations! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to renovate or remodel in DFW.

What a wonderful business, extremely nice people with great ideas. If you're looking for a great…read moreconstruction company, look no further, you can't do better than HDP. Ray, the head of the company, is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. They have an interior designer, Nohemi, that has a great eye, and we loved her design portfolio. Our budget and time frame ended up being a little tighter than we had originally hoped due to some required foundation and electrical work, so we had to scale back our project and go with a smaller business. However, we are hoping when we do our next project, which will be the kitchen, that Ray and Nohemi will be available. Would love to work with them beyond just the design phase.

Again, HDP Construction rocks. We used Ray and his team to do a complete remodel inside out…read moreoutside in 2016 and couldn't have been happier. YES, their were Construction delays and hiccups along they way. It's called Construction for a reason. But what we love about HDP is they stand behind their work and they are as honest and trustworthy as you get. Just incredible people. It is 2025 and we again have a few projects we want to do and some things we want updated. Ray was able to reach out to the subcontractor who worked with us during our 2016 remodel to make changes to our home security system and cameras. Seriously, almost 10 years later. We had a custom built steel gate installed in 2016. Ray still knew who built it and knew what would be involved at adding a new coat of paint. Ray also helped with moving us over to one system like Ring, Nest,or Wyze. Instead of a hodge podge of various products. This has been huge. During that process he reminded us that the new code requires 3 smoke/fire/carbon detectors. We have referred several friends to HDP and allowed individuals to tour our home and inspect his work. Because we continue to be that impressed. Last week we again gave him a long list of normal wear and tear items to more extensive projects and he submitted his review timely and accurately along with a couple suggestions. We look forward to beginning the next list of projects.

I just wanted to take the time to say "thank you" to Niki at the Hurst, TX location. We recently…read morecame in looking for a new refrigerator. We've been ready to buy for quite a long time and, in addition to a new refrigerator, we also need a new washer & dryer. I'll be honest and say that we'd been to 5-6 different appliance stores prior to coming into the Hurst Best Buy. Over the last few months we'd trudge out to go "appliance shopping" and the routine was the same. We'd start by telling the sales person we were in the market for new appliances. Then we'd ask a few questions while we were looking at the floor models. Not complex questions - just simple ones (Why Samsung and not LG? What's the ice capacity? What's the difference between front load and top load washers? etc). And without exception (until we met Niki) those questions were not able to be answered in a friendly, knowledgeable and courteous way. Honestly, the whole process had become tedious and stressful for us. Our last (and second time) at Texas Appliance in Hurst sealed the deal. The service there was horrible. The sales person knew enough to read the tag (which we could read, too). We walked out of there and on a whim went over to the Northeast Mall Best Buy. I knew about Pacific Sales from a coworker who worked at Best Buy several years ago. Thank goodness we took a chance and came in. Niki was very patient with us and extremely knowledgeable about the appliances. She could (and did) explain the differences between various brands and features. She helped us select the right Kitchen Aid fridge and also a washer / dryer set. The entire buying process was smooth and seamless. She really knows her stuff! We were very impressed - and we are very pleased with our purchases. I can't wait for them to deliver into our new home. I will be referring others to the Pacific Sales store in Hurst.

After buying all kitchenaide decided we wanted a GE fridge. We constantly changed our order...which was after the rebate date. Had to change the delivery time several times because the house wasn't complete. This was the easiest thing about the entire remodel. They delivered on time and even came out again, because the house was still not ready when they delivered, to take apart the fridge and get it through the door(which we tried to do ourselves and almost scraped the sides of the fridge...yikes). Did not charge for a second trip. Loved working with the guys. Totally professional and didn't role their eyes once when they saw us come through the door....AGAIN. Would definitely use them again. Unfortunately, they did not have a recirculating ventahood that fit, so we had to buy it from a competitor down the street. It was horrible experience and took my husband getting very angry before we received our ventahood. Definitely would buy from Pacific Sales again. They were awesome.

Although it took many months to get the project to completion, your company/contractors did an amazing job renovating the bathroom. Our only complaint, lack of communication, was addressed quickly, and so 5-stars worthy since they were so incredibly responsive when we bright it to their attention. We love the bathroom, your painting crew was SUPER AMAZING, and we would highly recommend your company!!!

After describing the problems I was having to one of the partner/employees of the company, the majority owner, Charly Everett and his general manager, Brandon Webster, stepped in and literally turned the project around over-night. They corrected all mistakes and completed the project in record time after the day they took it over. They assigned a project manager, Matt McCasland, who performed exactly like they instructed him to: he did everything necessary to make me and my wife happy. The one thing they could not do, was to give us back the time that was lost by the first project manager, however, they did what they could do, which was to be totally honest and open about what we had gone through, and then to remain in that mode as they competently completed the total reconstruction and upgrade of our 5,000 sf home. I would strongly recommend them to anyone seeking a construction contractor! The first project manager, Jackie Lynn, is no longer working for Gregg Construction.
