I've been a couple times since it is right around the corner from work. I had quick, pleasant service at the counter. My sandwich was done quickly. A couple things I go by for a pizza place: Obviously, pizza. But plain pizza. Let's see how well you make the simple stuff. I don't want a junk base with stuff all over it. These guys, they have great pizza. I also try a chick parm and shaved steak. As basic prepared as possible. They nailed it but could go lighter on the seasonings. You only need salt and pepper on steak. The ambiance is pizza shop. Don't bother looking for ambiance. But it is clean and well lit. Usually in and out with something to eat, something to drink, and a tip for under $20. Won't blow you away but it is well done. read more

Ordered a Chicken bacon ranch gluten free pizza by phone. Person who took order clarified the chicken because on the menu it said fried chicken, I didn't notice that so was happy he clarified it and substituted grilled chicken. I'll give them 3 stars because it's a small business and I support local businesses however my food was gross. I got a steak and cheese. The steak and cheese would have been ok alone but they put Italian seasoning on it. Who wants oregano and basil on a steak and cheese. Almost couldn't eat it. Portion was small too. So this was my second and last time going here. My first time going I was not mad at the place- got my wife and her cousin a steak bowl a piece and my self a steak and cheese some drinks and a some cookies and it was well under what I expected to pay. I was happy with that and was like I'll come here again. So the other night after I got out of work (and I'm a chef at a James beard award nominated restaurant and one of the top 100 places to eat according to Forbes in America, so I under stand labor and food cost and what ever) and grabbed a meat lovers pizza and a steak bowl. It came up to 42 bucks. How is that even possible? 42 bucks for a pizza and a rice bowl and I picked it up! This literally is down the street from our place and part of our pizza pact for 2021 we decided to try more different local places. I'm so glad I did. Personally, I am a fan of a thinner crunchy crust with thinner toppings. I don't like a soggy pizza and Milan's definitely doesn't have a soggy pizza! Pasta is tossed in creamy Alfredo sauce and thick chunks of grilled chicken breast and generous sized fresh broccoli tossed in topped with cheese and BAKED! Yes! They bake the pasta in the aluminum pan and you get it piping hot out of the oven. With a dash of black pepper and some hot pepper flakes you have a chefs kiss easy weekday meal! Highly recommend! The 2 stars is for the service. It would be a miracle if they actually took a phone order correctly. I have received multiple wrong orders for things as simple as an Italian sub or steak and cheese. The wrong size is given, ingredients missing. I received an order recently and of course it was messed up. Due to these multiple mistakes, over and over again, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I will start off and say that I am from NY originally and lived there for more than 30 years.. so my definition of acceptable pizza is different than most. For starters, pizza that comes off a conveyor belt as opposed to an oven is not pizza in my books. It might just be because I live walking distance but they make my perfect chicken parm sub. Its never anything other than perfect. Their steak tips and steak and cheeses are amazing as well. Free soda and chips with a sub or small pizza on weekdays is another fun fact. No doubt my favorite sub shop in Lowell. Be careful ordering from there one of the cook there is nasty. I ordered a sub there and I had a gut feeling to keep an eye on one of them so I did. Next thing I know was the guy stuck his finger up his nose to dig out his nasty ingredient. He finished then went to make my sub without washing his hands. Just happened to need something quick to eat and came upon Milan Pizza. The service is excellent and very friendly. My BLT club came with fries and a bottled water for 8 bucks ... Good pizza friendly staff parking is not the best option but overall a very good pizza place. We normally get one or two pizzas for takeout I have not utilized the dine in experience for a long time. With a nice food selection and plenty of drinks available for takeout I would say if you haven't been here it's definitely worth a try. read more
