The sales rep acted almost offended I was putting in my due diligence to authenticate a large purchase. The manager was no help and tried to sell the " it was sold by an old couple" so it had to be real so why question it. Would only sell me the watch and give 24 hours to authenticate it. Who could get that done in 24 hours? So all my research showed it was a fake so if your going to spend a large amount of money take your time because your stuck with it.

Then I discovered the Legacy Focus SE tower speakers in several issues of "the absolute sound" where they featured their annual High-End Audio Buyer's guides and Editor's Choice Awards. Fabulous write-up that highlighted terrific sound and a value well above its super-reasonable price point. Music to my ears. After two + years of all my research I was knocked over on the great sound that exceeded all the others I had listened to from showrooms to annual hifi shows, that were several times the price and more. The Legacy SEs were a big WOW. I also wanted to combine my two existing towers (four total)- one pair was dedicated to music and one pair to home theater, and so when I asked the local dealer James from Destination Hifi about doing it and he told how he could easily get it done, with James' superb technical guidance I combined two sets of tower speakers into one set of tower speakers- the Legacy Focus SEs. Needless to say I was totally knocked over by the big sounding Legacy Focus SEs that had the sound I wanted to hear- super realistic with a fabulous sound stage that was just amazing- like all the performers are in the center of my living room. I also opted for the Legacy center channel for TV and movies, their top one of that line that again was amazing for a great price, and a Legacy subwoofer. I have had the new system for about a month now and there are not words to describe how great it sounds on CDs like Yello, which has one in particular (their 30-year reunion) that is off the charts, to vocals, to tamer music. Last night we watched an action movie with lots of sound affects and we felt like we were in a large custom high end movie house flying the helicopters. One must have for the Legacy Focus SEs is additional super dense rubber feet that Legacy calls "pucks" that the existing rubber feet slide into which I was provided for no extra charge. I have a stone floor and they made a huge difference in the quality of the sound. What a treat for me after all these years of finally getting speakers the quality of the Legacy Focus SEs. It was meant to be I guess. I hope to have many years of exciting listening ahead and have cancelled a couple of trips so I can enjoy my total entertainment room set-up. For me, my once in a lifetime investment in top music listening gear with the Legacy speakers is an utter joy.

The staff and owner are knowledgeable and passionate about what they sell. I spent over an hour discussing the advantages of similarly priced big screen Sony, LG and Samsung OLED models before choosing an LG. Jason, their installer knows TVs inside and out and is a perfectionist when it comes to installations. He actually used a carpenter's level to insure my TV was perfectly angled and positioned. He performed all of the basic set up and then some. Tell him your viewing preferences and he adjusts the set to those before he departs. I requested that my new LG G5 be set for accurate streaming and cinema and he obliged. It felt good doing business with a civilized locally owned store. (Incidentally, I paid the full retail sale price.)
