This day's adventure takes me back to The SchoolYard. This place has different venues, one of them is "Mikey's Philly Cheesesteaks". But first the place, you walk in and you can see the creation taken place. You head to the counter and see the various items on the menu. You can eat there or go take it away and eat somewhere else. The place has some seating or you can take it and eat outside. The people working here are very welcoming and treat you quite well. But the most important thing is of course the food, and when I say the food I'm talking about outstanding food. I ordered the "Phlamin' Philly" it was one the best cheesesteaks I've had in long time. The meat was tender and packed with flavor it had a small bite with the jalapeños but take my word it is delicious. I paired it with some "Cajon Fries", those fries with the cheesesteak are a winning combination. If you have a craving for some cheesesteak you can't go wrong here. The variety of the cheesesteaks, guarantees you'll find one that'll feed your hunger.

By far one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've ever had or in a while ! Perfect amount of bread to meat ratio and steak had a good amount of seasoning. Fries were a hit also. Only flaw was that the establishment was pretty hot but than again...this is Texas !!

Empty drink options.

Disappointing at best. No inside seating. No reason. No drinks in the cooler. No explanation. 6pm on a Friday night. Long way to walk from handicap parking. Won't return.

I read many comments saying this is a hidden gem in Seguin, and I would agree. It is run by a Marine veteran who seems very passionate about his shop. Upon entry, I was welcomed promptly, and his wife took my order. Watching him work and cook my food in the back was a wonder. The ambiance in the place is such a vibe. He is starting to collect military patches from other service members, and I will definitely bring one of mine to him on my next visit. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was top-noted. The fries are some of the best I've tasted. If you are craving a hot delicious Philly cheese steak sandwich and want to support our dedicated veterans at the same time, stop by Mikey's. You won't regret it!

Philly LARGE - Cheesesteak Hoagie! The perfect com LARGE - MIKEY'S SPECIAL

Yummy. Best cheesesteak in Seguin! The bread was soft, the meat had the perfect flavors, the bell peppers and cheese were incredible and the perfect addition. If you haven't tried you're missing out!

Stuffed with flavorful, juicy meat.

Omg! This place has the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had. The establishment was amazingly clean. The owner is fast, friendly, and cooks on the spot. Sandwiches are hot and fresh. My husband got the regular "rocky" and I got the regular "liberty bell."Fries are delicious and crispy on the outside soft on the inside. If you haven't tried it, it's a must!

Good place that's hidden. Worth a try. Small inside but good for a small group or so. Nice to sit outside as well. Unfortunately they were out of chicken so we weren't able to try the chicken sub..& But brotherly love sub had good flavor great seasoning good portion size as well. Other than the vibes being a little off with the cook and cashier. wouldn't mind going back to eat here again !

Cajun fries were delicious!

I've never lived on the east coast so take this review for what it's worth. This has to be the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had! The place is a an old converted elementary school with a whole bunch of shops built into it which makes the experience neat in itself. The chef/owner was a super nice guy. I totally recommend you try this place!

10 inch Phlamin' Philly with double provolone and no mushrooms.

Pre-ordered and paid online with no problem. I had a 10 inch Phlamin' Philly cheesesteak with double provolone. Got there right on time, and it was good to go. Employee was friendly. Everything about the sandwich was great...the meat was seasoned well and they must get shipments of Amoroso buns, and if not it was a good copycat. The only thing I can suggest, is to have someone who can take the food to the customers car. It's in the back of a food hall, parking is across the street from the hall, but it's not a long walk by any stretch, but for people with mobility issues like myself, it's a challenge. But anyway, two big thumbs up for this business!

Hands down the best Philly Cheesesteak anywhere! Seasoned to perfection. Lots of options so you can get it exactly hot you like it. Highly recommend the "Philly's Finest" with provolone. This place is a true family establishment and you can feel it. Mikey puts his heart and soul into his product. Can't wait to go back!

Used to need a fork to get all the meat falling out of your cheesesteak but today I saw a lot of the inside of the bun when I received my order. For those of you who thought the rosemary sauce too pungent, it saddens me to say you win, it has been toned down to unremarkable. Attended with parents, brother and SIL today. Employee was kind enough to take our orders rather than have us use the kiosk. There is a tip jar at the counter if you prefer cash. It was nice to see everything being made fresh early in the day and gave us time to chat a bit before orders were ready. One order of fries came out later than everything else after a reminder at the counter and the bathroom was out of order. Still worth it if you're craving it, just not the treat it used to be. Fingers crossed it's a one-off. 25SEP26

Black & yellow theme throughout (now of course this Yinzer has Wiz Khalifa's voice in her head). Older space but very clean + the aforementioned vibrant black & yellow decor. Shared the First Class Half Mile Smashburger (supposed to be a smaller version but it's huge! Heck, everything really is bigger in Texas.) & Half Mile Fries (seasoned, thick, hand cut fries). Cooked to perfection. Juicy burger with fresh toppings, sauce, and cheese. Perfectly cooked fries. We're big fans.

Great guac, creamy queso, and a zety salsa. Chips were delicious. 3- year-old granddaughter went with chicken nuggets- real chicken, not overly processed and beautifully fried. I had a mushroom Swiss burger with skinny onion rings, both were fabulous! Will took outstanding care of us - even noticed we were drinking more iced tea than some other tables and brought us a pitcher of tea. Quiet enough for conversation despite the restaurant being quite busy for a fall afternoon at 2 pm. Private parking lot. Free duck (many choices) for the young and young at heart. We won't talk about how many years later but we finally made it back. Our server was phenomenal. We were in from out of town visiting family at their restaurant, and she was so attentive and super kind about us taking up her table longer. We started off with onion rings and they were delicious. The ranch is pretty great also. I couldn't help I get the chicken fried steak with a homemade fries. I live in Las Vegas and there are some things that you just can't get that equal Texas cooking. All of it was super great. Sometimes when you get chicken fried steak, it's greasy from the frying there was none of that here. The steak was flavored good. The batter was flavored great and it was crispy and the gravy was flavored. I mean, Texas folk definitely know how to season their cooking. The fries are so good and dipped in my gravy from the chicken fried steak and I was in heaven. My son ordered a cheesesteak. It looked good and he enjoyed it. I have to teach him to be a little more southern though when he orders. Just kidding. I love the feel of Pat's Place. It's an old house converted into a restaurant and it does feel like you're eating a home-cooked meal in a friends house. It's unbeatable. I appreciate after all these years, this place still rocks. Thank you for the incredible service and the even more incredible food.

Was disappointed to see the menu here doesn't include options listed on the general franchise menu online, but my standard (the smaller of two size options) classic philly was good. My peppers and onions were cooked properly and not burnt, and it was a good balance with the portion of meat and generous cheese. It was $7.89 after tax/before tip. Waiting in line took a while, but the guys on the grill are quick and get your attention when your order's up. It's not amazing, but it's decent and an interesting option in a food court for a fair price. It's almost another $4 to make it a combo with a drink and a side, and the drinks alone are unpriced on the menu. I just took a sandwich to go. The sandwich comes sliced nearly through, and a good size to split with a friend if you just need to tide yourselves over before eating a serious meal elsewhere. The billow of steam when your ingredients meet the heat is impressive, but they have a good hood and vent over that grill so don't worry.
