Outstanding mechanic. Great service. Doesn't talk down to women. Recommends only the repairs you need, no pressure.

I ended up getting my friends car fixed and canceled automation. Bit Paul was very professional…read morewhen I called to let him know I was cancelling. I do a lot of my own work on cars and bought my car from Carvana and had it pre-inspected by Ford,…read morewhich gave me a list of repairs to complete through my SilverRock warranty. I scheduled an appointment with Automotion (SilverRock approved) and went over everything Ford had flagged. Automotion replaced the radiator hose and tie rod ends and completed a radiator flush, for which I paid $300. They did not replace the RF CV axle. Nick told me SilverRock only allows them to invoice so much at a time, and to bring the car back the following week so they could look at it. I never made it back that next week. Before then, I noticed the cover over my engine was missing, and then I found that my wiring harness had been cut and a new plug soldered on. When I brought it up to Nick and Jared, they asked me what I meant and I told them I had pictures before and after service of what the engine looked like. That's when Nick admitted they had ripped the plug off while removing the airbox but they wouldn't do anything for it because it was fixed. I told them it was not fixed, the car did not come in with a missing plug and cut off wire and I never approved them to fix the wire. I told them the harness needed to be replaced to restore it to factory - Nick agreed to look for a new harness and get back to me. I never heard from them again. I had to contact SilverRock myself and explain what happened, and they approved me taking the car back to Ford to have the harness and cv axle replaced that should have been on Automotion. Now I will need to pay a deductible for Automotion's mistake. A little communication and transparency would have gone a long way. A shop should stand behind its work, and when something goes wrong, it should be willing to make it right by the customer. As far as I'm concerned, they belong in the shade-tree-mechanic category. I will not be returning, and I won't recommend them at all to anyone in the Topeka area.
