Nice, quick, professional and patient to this upset grandmother. I hope I don't need a tow again, but if I do I know who to call.

After checking the suspected causes, he decided we needed to take it to the dealership which wasn't open until the next morning. He went above and beyond by taking us to a hotel and picking us up the next day to tow to the nearest dealership. A real southern gentleman who treated us with respect and was very reasonably priced for all the service he provided. Highly recommended! Chuck

Our car was basically held hostage for almost a week. If any dealership tells you they are going to outsource your work to Slyders Towing & Recovery, SAY NO. Timmie, the owner, provided the rudest/worst customer service I have ever dealt with for a car repair place. My father worked in the car business for more than 50 years so I am no stranger to how the industry works. You don't treat customers, especially stranded out-of-state customers, like this. We were traveling and the compressor on our car froze and snapped the serpentine belt. We brought it to a Ford dealership and they outsourced it to this place. I know this is common practice so I did not think anything of it. This was a Thursday afternoon (6/23). Adel was halfway to our destination. We were able to rent a car and left our car for repairs for FIVE DAYS and we went on to our destination. After repeatedly being told it should be ready by Monday at the latest, we returned on Monday (6/27) and the car was not ready. We got nothing but the runaround from the owner Timmie. Every time we called, it seemed like we were the biggest inconvenience to him. We just wanted updates on our car and all we got was "I will call you when it's done." He flat out told us that he wouldn't call us with updates, including an update that he got the wrong part so our car would be delayed until at least Tuesday. He also reprimanded us for calling on a Sunday and not respecting "church schedules." He runs a 24-7 business. If you don't want people calling you on Sunday, don't run a 24-7 business. In the end the car was finished on Tuesday night, but we had to get back to Orlando and we couldn't trust Timmie that the car would be done. He never told us it would be for sure done that day (It might be done today is all he ever said). And considering he lied to us so much and would never give us any real information, we simply could not trust him. That brings us to today, where we have to take extra time out of our lives to go back up there to pick up our car on our day off. After we get to his farm (not even a legit shop) and my husband was paying him, (he also demanded cash and not in hundred dollar bills because he we might try to give him counterfeit bills) he had the audacity to fish to a tip. After all he did to us over the last week, the nerve to ask for MORE MONEY is so outrageous, I don't even have the words. Timmie is the worst/rudest business owner I have ever encountered and no one should frequent Slyders Towing & Recovery.
