Nothing has a lock on it but do please ask permission to play that $45,000 Martin or $15,000 Gibson. The exposed brick walls and 12" plank floors are equally vintage in this cellar of an old building in an old town in North Georgia. There's also a great selection of new Martins and old and new mandolins and banjos. I think the prices are fair to bargains and no one makes you feel uncomfortable as in fast talking pressure or deliberately ignoring you. Read about Patton Wages in the website. If you're lucky he'll be picking behind the counter ( he rarely stops) or he'll show you his personal collection. If I can't get help making purchases I know I wont get any help if there are problems and I need to return! This store needs customer service help desperately! There was a good selection of speakers to choose from. Do they have everything? Of course not, nobody does but it is a good selection. They can also get other stuff in from their website too. Guitar center always seems to have a decent price on products. This location isn't as large as Tempe Arizona but they have crammed as much as possible in here and as mentioned the service was great with my guy. All in all this is a good place. On our way to Murphy my husband spotted a HUGE wooden gun along the side of the road and before I knew it we were making a U-turn to check it out. For starters Traders Corner/Cherokee Guns is a combination gun & pawn shop. We've visited (or should I say I've been dragged) to many a gun stores and have pretty much always been treated okay, yeah just okay, by the staff; and we were expecting nothing different this time around. As my husband perused about (and I wondered about for pretty stuff) he saw a gun that caught his eye and Doc (whom we later learned is the owner of the shop) asked my husband if he needed assistance. They quickly became engaged in conversation and before I knew it my husband was being initiated into the brotherhood against Tyranny (total guy thing). All I know is that he was treated like royalty. He has never felt more welcome and among friend than here. From my perspective Doc was amazing with my husband and when my husband is happy I'm happy. In addition to Doc's great service he has a small but very very nice selection of firearms, shotguns and hunting rifles. There are plenty of accessories and some great stickers that are funny as can be but would "hurt" peoples feelings back here in California if we put them on our bumper. Also, they carry ammunition that you will never see here at home (LA, CA......yeah we suck pretty much because everything is illegal here boooo!) But wow definitely cool stuff....cool enough that it peeked my interest and if its not make-up related it takes a lot to interest me. So, if you're in the market for firearms, ammunition and other goodies stop by Traders Corner/Cherokee Guns and ask for Doc. Also, if you buy a gun it may be possible to test shoot it "out back" (how cool is that, but don't quote me on it) I'm not entirely sure how that works but I heard one of the employees saying something about going out back to shoot a gun. Hey it wouldn't hurt to ask right?? In all this was a great experience and we look forward to going back and hopefully make some further purchases. After all we must prepare for the zombie apocalypse....oh yeah it's going to happen!!

I've played this bass on many gigs and it's fine; nice neck, good sounding pickups (hey, pickup technology is STILL wire wrapped around magnets) Sure is nice to not have to babysit a vintage P-bass at gigs these days! I keep this one behind the seat in my car and it comes in handy.
