This tactic has worked great and we have fun in the process. Admittedly, this has turned into a very expensive undertaking. My husband found Righteous Guitars on YouTube back in 2019. They featured a Mario Martin electric that he just HAD to have! Ever since, I've been dying to get him to the store in person. It seemed that every time we were passing near Roswell, it was the wrong day or time. Yesterday we finally made it! The store has a private, intimate feeling since the front doors are locked. The interior is breathtakingly beautiful and slightly visually overwhelming. I adore the artistic design and look of guitars and basses. This was a feast for the eyes and ears. Top notch service which was attentive and personalized. I lounged in the comfortable gliding chairs while my spouse spent a few hours trying various instruments. He fell in love with a Fender p bass but ultimately opted to wait. I have a feeling he'll be on the phone in a day or two placing an order. We will definitely be returning to Righteous Guitars and keeping an eye on their inventory. If you're a musician or guitar player, this place is a must-visit!

There is no voice mail. Service phone often rings for 20 rings (gave up after then) and never is answered. The people in the store know about these problems, but the corporate office does nothing to fix it. The corporate call center went so far as to tell me they couldn't control the hours on Google. What? Again, less than stellar workers. Also, personnel is not properly trained. ie: I was told I could get a flute repair done in a week, then I found out it was a month...after I flew to the USA with my flute from another country. So, I bought a new flute. I asked the service department to check it over completely as I did not live in the USA and wanted to make sure there were no issues. Note this was a rather expensive silver flute. They gave it to me saying it was perfect. Well, it wasn't! The interior was filthy...used. The f# key leaks. I am flying back to the USA. It took me 12 phone calls including 2 useless calls to the call center before I could speak to someone. I was promised a call back from the call center in 40 minutes. Never called. Bottom line is, good selection, knowledgeable sales people, lousy service and not the brightest in the call center. I think some of the staff is good at some of the stores, but really, they need training.

Store manager Jon Bon insisted on restringing the floor model for him. He and Billy Darling have been on the staff for decades. Added a hard case and off we went. I can't say enough positive things about our experience. Jack is a very straight shooter, no bs, honest and helpful. I got the very real sense that he was more interested in helping us purchase the piano that would work best for us, than in simply selling a piano. His pianos were all in amazing condition and I fell for one of the black Yamaha's. The Black Friday free delivery and first tuning special, in addition to the 10 year warranty really helped seal the deal. The piano was delivered within a handful of days and the movers were professional and courteous. I called several shops to ask about repairs but during each call, I was getting "attitude" over the phone from the employee due to my lack of piano/musical knowledge. I found this funny as I'm the one with the money and they're the lowly employee. Enough said. I searched the web and came across Jake's Piano Shop. Jake came over and took a good look at our piano. I explained to Jake I have zero knowledge in this area so dumb it down. Jake did. He too the time to explain what the piano was, what it needed, what he could do for us, etc. We hired Jake and he dismantled part of the piano, took what he needed to his shop, ordered parts, did XYZ, and came back 2 weeks later to assemble our piano. Jake hand tuned our piano using his hearing, and during the tuning process, he played the piano to attain the right pitch of each key. I was impressed. Again, I don't know music but I understand "craftsmanship" and Jake is definitely a Craftsman! NOTE: Jake, you play beautifully. I'm pretty much tone deaf so I can't hear the subtle differences but my family can. I clearly noticed the key "action" was 100% better, nice flow, spring action, etc. We'll be seeing Jake bi-annually/annually to maintain our piano from now on. I HIGHLY recommend Jake's Piano Shop.
