Do they teach adults? If yes, what is the price.

Hello! This is Matt from Atlanta Violins. We don't offer lessons here - we concentrate on the instruments themselves and we stay very busy doing so. When people come here to buy an instrument they will often spend hours trying them out (we have a… Read more

I highly recommend Tritone. My daughter has been learning piano with Ms. Sarah for almost a year…read more We are having a great time and I believe we will continue this happiness in our future learning. Here is a few background I want to share here: My daughter started her piano since she was 5 but stopped for a while when she was 7. The reason that we stopped are: 1) part of my reason (interfere a lot with her practice) and 2) her previous teacher's style didn't fit her. We are so thankful that we found Ms. Sarah from a friend of mine. Now my daughter finds her love to piano and music again. She even would love to challenge herself on her practices. We don't have to have our fights on when and how to practice piano everyday because Ms. Sarah will show my daughter how to practice and to deal with her feelings. She makes sure everybody is in her comfort zone and willing to try new stuff at the same time. I think another best thing about Ms. Sarah is her passion. You will be sure that she loves teaching piano. She cares about her students and their parents too. We keep very good communication with each other since the first day we met each other. So as we work together, the kid is getting happier and more confident. So do I. Oh, it seems I cannot stop myself. She's the best teacher for us. Give them a call and start your lesson. You won't be disappointed.

I left and…read morethen my boyfriend apparently tried out a guitar as he does at other music stores, and the owner kicked him out of the store. I called back today to follow up and see if we could come try out some of the beginner-friendly guitars, the owner berated me unbelievably over the phone, called me a liar, and explicitly said multiple times that I have never stepped foot in his store, which is untrue. Rather than taking accountability for poor customer service and working with us to meet us in the middle, he repeatedly insulted us personally, called us liars, and yelled at me without letting me get a word in for about 10 minutes before hanging up. Maybe if they kept an eye on the front desk, they would've recognized me. This is the first review I've left on the store, but he also accused me of leaving a previous one star review, which was pending and invisible until now. Based on my interaction over the phone, I gathered that he personally stalked my boyfriend's name and information on Google reviews to find out that I am associated with him, connect me to my phone number, and berate me. Absolutely unprofessional and inhumane. He refused to check the cameras and called me a liar, called us immature 10-year-olds , etc., while I calmly explained to him that his behavior was very unprofessional. As professional music teachers and musicians ourselves, my partner and I highly recommend Ken Stanton, Guitar Center, or Music and Arts. This man treated us incredibly hatefully and the quality of his gear is not competitive with other options in the same mall, so you would think he would make up for it with customer service. Do not come here unless you wanna be yelled at and spoken down to, and price-gouged.

We have never had such a wonderful experience in a music store before. This man shows such passion for music. There is no way that anyone who truly interacted with this man could walk away and not be enthusiastic about learning music. I'm not sure about the other rating being so low. Perhaps someone just venting and not knowing what they are talking about.

What makes it even more incredible is that she's coaching me at a time in my life when I am not at my best -- due to a serious illness that left me with long-term complications affecting my voice. I worked with other coaches when I was at my physical peak... and yet Tricia far surpasses them in every way. She just has that special je ne sais quoi. She's incredibly smart, intuitive, and dedicated -- and you can see all of that in her book, which is one of the most useful vocal guides I've ever read, no matter where you are in your vocal journey. Her Sing Like a Star method is scientific, empowering, and meets you exactly where you are. She helps you build from the inside out -- breath, tone, emotion, everything. I'm hitting notes I never thought I'd reach again. If you're on the fence, take the leap. Tricia is rare. She's the real deal.

I asked around inside my peer circle in the Grammy chapter and ironically no one could recommend a vocal coach. I was fortunate enough to find Tricia and SLaS through an internet search and was pleased that SLaS could work with me via Zoom since I'm thousands of miles away from Atlanta. It's easy to under appreciate (or not understand) how much a course and coach can help us gain control over vocal muscles, larynx position, breathing, and breath support so that we improve our craft and more fully develop our personal singing style. Just like any fine performing artist or serious athletic endeavor, improvement in ability to sing isn't magic. It requires training (WITH EXERCISES), coaching, guidance, and feedback. SLaS and Tricia does all of these things via a very well thought out course that is designed to work on the common issues male and female vocalists arrive with at their doors (or in my case Zoom camera). I've gone from being/believing I'm a baritone only singer always wishing I had a wider ranger to be more versatile to HAVING a much wider range AND at the same time a far more POWERFUL and stable singing voice. I hardly recognize my new voice!...but I am sure loving it and can't wait to see what the next months hold as Tricia continues to guide and coach me to new places. When I think of vocalists I've worked with in the studio environment, almost all of them could have used the help SLAS provides; including one who came to the studio with her personal vocal coach!! Kudos to everyone who worked to put the SLAS training together and to Tricia who is helping those willing to work and put in the time to be much better vocalists and performers then they were before signing on with SLaS.
