Delightful store. I don't even mind waiting around when they…read moreare busy, because of all the beautiful jewelry they have for me to look at. I bring my watches to them for battery replacement since the last Walmart experience I had and they crushed the face of my watch trying to get the back on. I trust the Murphy Diamond store with Fossil collection.

!!!IMPORTANT!!! My story/nightmare dealing with the jeweler in Murphy,…read more A.K.A. "Murphy Diamond Center" Performed work on our engagement ring, only to then..., "after the work was completed", to come out saying now that what they held back until their money was made on a useless "fix" SAYING that what they have "fixed", will only "break AGAIN!!!" At which point they then moved on to using their sales tactics, trying to get us to purchase an entirely new setting for $1,850.00! (As if it was basically the only practical choice we had!), adding in, saying, "HOW IT WOULD BE SUCH A SHAME FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL DIAMOND TO FALL OUT OR BE LOST", if the current ring was to break again! So yes literal "scare tactics" were used, and were brought upon us literally the moment we arrived there excited to pick up our ring! Which I now realize to be part of their deceitful tactics, the day we were there to pick it up, after we dropped off our property to be fixed, (and what should have and at many, many places is, a job thats easily considered, a completed while you wait procedure), for everything we had done, they made us wait approximately three FULL WEEKS!!! Not to mention even with all this time and over all this time, they did this knowing full well that they were "fixing" a "doomed" engagement ring setting, only to inform us after the work was performed, without giving us the choice of saying okay since the ring is no longer viable then don't solder it and charges $70 for absolutely nothing, as in exactly what they did! They knew they were doing work just for the money and waited until after said work was performed to only then admit the "fix" was moot! This diamond center after letting us know that our ring was actually fixed for no reason even though they charged us $70 then tried strong sales tactics to get us to buy a brand new engagement ring setting weighing I believe somewhere between 3 to 3.5 grams, for get this,.... $1,850.00!!! which is literally more than $528 a gram for 18 karat gold! And just so you know gold may be high but that would be them charging $16,422.65 for an ounce of 18K (75%) gold when an ounce is valued at what, somewhere around $4,500 at this moment? They are truly NOT about making beautiful jewelry... They're whole agenda is about "making" beautiful "bucks"... 'YOUR BUCKS!' and have proven undoubtedly, they're main agenda is to make as many of those bucks as possible, while giving 'us' as there customers, the absolute very LEAST value possible for those "bucks" that they can possibly get away with!!! Jewelers in literal New York City have far better prices and deals on better quality jewelry then this place does. If that doesn't tell you something powerful I don't know what would. Needless to say, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY from Murphy Diamond Center! Best wishes and Good luck!
