Mike’s Mix & Master was founded to make professional mixing and mastering more accessible to independent artists without the expense and limitations of a traditional studio.
What started as an online mixing and mastering service has grown into a worldwide business serving artists and producers across numerous genres and countries.
Over the years, the services have expanded beyond mixing and mastering to include Apple Digital Masters, album projects, processed stems, alternate versions, radio edits, and other services designed to help artists prepare their music for release.
More than a decade later, Mike’s Mix & Master continues to operate online, allowing musicians to work with an experienced engineer regardless of where they record or live.
Meet the Business Owner: Michael C.
Mike is the founder and lead engineer behind Mike’s Mix & Master. Before working behind the scenes as an engineer, he was an artist himself, giving him firsthand experience with the recording and release process from an artist’s perspective.
He founded Mike’s Mix & Master in 2013 with the goal of making professional mixing and mastering accessible to independent musicians without sacrificing quality.
Today, Mike works remotely with artists and producers across a wide variety of genres, from first-time independent artists to experienced musicians releasing singles, EPs, and full-length albums. He is also certified to provide Apple Digital Masters.
His approach focuses on the details that make each record work while keeping the artist’s original vision at the center of the mix.
