This guy's prices are higher than anyone else, his selection isn't 1/2 of what other shops in the area offer, and it's generally a very unwelcoming attitude you're greeted with when they're ACTUALLY open during hours posted on their door. read more

Very dissatisfied with this shop in every way possible: 1.) my father went there to purchase an easily concealed firearm to protect himself with, and the staff seemed more interested in watching TV than assisting him from what he told me- my father hasn't purchased a firearm in 20+ years. 2.) the weapons are over priced. My father came home with a Beretta .22LR semi auto pistol- for $249.00! 3.) the quality of this firearm was substandard at best: -high amount of gunshot residue in barrel -pitting on barrel -nearly impossible to safely "rack" the slide (load a bullet for those who aren't up on terms) -heavy wear on slides for action -continuous misfires and failure to eject spent casings despite the use of high velocity "stinger" ammunition 4.) staff was unwilling to return $ due to the sale of a faulty weapon- only willing to refund $175 5.) extremely rude to a concerned customer 6.) owner of shop accidentally discharged a live round when he was visually inspecting the firearm 7.) another shop sold my father a Kel Tec P-3AT .380, fully warranted and refurbished by the manufacturer, with 2 magazines, original owners manual, a holster, and free box of ammunition for $245.00 Don't go to this shop unless you intend to be ripped off read more

Felt more welcomed in this store by the old dog behind the counter. The attendant was not rude but gave me the feeling like he really couldn't be bothered. Maybe he was having a bad day, idk. But didn't get the feeling that he was particularly interested in helping a woman. I hope I am wrong. read more

Over charge me big time for a used ak47 I understand I should have done my research but to charge someone almost $900 for a used Romanian AK. And have your salesman Lie say it's a Russian AK is just completely poor Business practice. read more

Hurry in, you can pay twice what other shops charge. Call up and confirm that they have it in stock, they will swear they do and when you get there, they don't. Good times. Polite, too. They keep the TV so loud, you are happy to get ripped off so you can leave. read more

I have been buying guns from Mike for 25 years. I have gotten some great deals over the years. And sometimes have had to pay a little more for high demand items. I was checking out some other reviews and usually don't like to "Pile on" but this shop is horrible. I called ahead to check on an AR-15 and they said they had a couple in stock. I drove up there to find a 22 year old rifle for more money than a new one. It was about triple the fair value for that gun. I don't know what is going on at this place. Maybe they are a front operation of something but they certainly aren't selling any guns. read more

He had a display set up at a gun show a few years back and I bought a Smith & Wesson 22lr revolver from him. I checked it out as best I could not being able to fire it. I took it to the range it was a complete piece of crap. I had to bring it to a gunsmith to be repaired. You've been warned stay away. read more

I went to this store once, because it is just around the corner from my house. But I'll never be back. Every person who works there is miserable and needs lessons in customer service. If you go there and have any questions, be prepared to be met with blank stares and one-word answers. I'll happily drive 20-30 minutes to go to places where the people have pleasant personalities and welcome my business. read more

Going to mikes over 25 years . Picked up many guns and long guns and supply love shopping there stop in and see what he has

$2200 for a restored IBM M1 Carbine , owner claimed it was all original , had a broken stock,missing parts and those visible had reproduction parts. Prices on everything here were at least 50-100% more then what other shops would charge, also it looks more like a pawn shop with a motorcycle for sale and an old dirty generator . Gun selection was horrible too read more

my husband went in & trusted mike to sell a good gun instead he got a pitted and rusted 22LR beretta automatic, gun jammed constantly , whether target or high volosity rounds, went to return it and was surcharged 75.00 just after 30 rounds fired out fo it, there is no way in hades 1/2 acre i would ever recommend him for any fire arm, he is unethical and has odd hours, go elsewhere read more

Here's alaugh I, once ordered a north American Arm s Derrenger. Did Mike call me to let me know it was in ? No , he , sold to a woman with too kids. One which was in a stroller. When I, called him too see if it was in , he said no. Than I, said rememmber a woman with too ,kids? That was my wife... I, have been buying gun s for over 35 yrs. First off, I have to say that Mike is an old fashioned type of guy. He is very good at listening and taking great care to those who are browsing and buying alike. I myself, have stopped into his shoppe several times over the last several years. I have lived in this area since 2002, but only started to go until around 08' or 09' maybe. I can not tell you the amount of times I have said to Mike that I would be stopping in soon to make a purchase (yet never did until recently). Every time I said that, his response was "take your time to find what you really want so I can understand what you are really looking for". He was always glad to see me and asked how I was doing upon return. He then welcomed me and said, "take your time and look around" even though I hadn't made a purchase for all those years on the times I would pop in sometimes far and few between. I had recently in the last month or so purchased a 30-40 1898 Springfield Krag; I was pleased, and elated with my new purchase. There was no prejudice against me after not buying all these years, no foul treatment, only smiles and busy, but friendly atmosphere. Even their dog Ginger is a warm, welcoming addition! My rifle is damn near visibly, and actually unremarkable for being old as it is, inside and out, all safety features work flawlessly, came with original parts, strap and all but most importantly my rifle both Loads & Fires most Impressively. Overall I am most pleased, impressed, and happy with the service and care given to me by Mike and his staff. High caliber customer service, family quality, and knowledge is what you get here. I will most definitely be coming to Mike's for my armory needs thus forward. I did do the research on my rifle and my buying price was true and fair for the product and quality I received. I had also set up a layaway for this particular purchase and as expected understanding and flexibility was given within reason. Excellent buy I am proud of! read more
