It has a large walk-in humidor and a selection to go with it. Very clean and Mike is there to help point you in the right direction. Found some sticks, lit one up and enjoyed in social conversation with the gentleman there. A for sure stop next time I'm in the area. read more

Founds this place by accident out for a ride on the motorcycle and boy am I glad I did. Mike, Nancy and Brad are awesome people. They also had a great man by the name of Tony who recently passed and he will surely be missed. I, like many newbies, came in the first few times and did a "Grab and Go". Then I decided to have a seat one day, and I've been part of the family ever since. This is a real cigar shop for real people who arent looking for a sparkly corporate cigar shop full of over priced cigars and pretentious customers. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming and treat you like family. The prices are very competitive to any other shop in the area. But most of all, my favorite thing about Mike's is the cast of characters straight out of "Cheers", that welcome you in, offer you a seat and fill your ears with some amazing and hilarious stories. I've been a customer now for about three years, and noticed no recent reviews of their new location on 1488, so I figured I'd update with my own impressions. Same great laid back staff. If you're intimidated about going into a Cigar shop, just visit here. The new humidor room is well stocked and maintained, and more importantly for old man eyes, it is well lit. Next level upgrade from the previous location. You are warmly welcomed, and left to browse the selection of cigars yourself. No pressure no hassle. That's what I like. If you have questions or are a newbie to cigars: I've never been condescended to or made to feel bad by anyone here when asking for a recommendation or making a purchase. I far prefer to buy cigars locally and support local businesses instead of over the Internet. This is my go to cigar shop. read more

Stopped here today to pick up stocking stuffers. I don't know a lot about cigars but knew a little about what the recipient liked. The staff was friendly and Mike recommended a few similar cigars in the huge walk - in humidor. I was in and out with the Santa loot in 10mins. Highly recommend. I didn't realize I had been dealing with Mike and his staff since way back when he had his store in the tunnel system in Downtown Houston (purchased my first box of Don Diego Lonsdales from them 22 years ago for birth of my second daughter). These folks know their cigars and have a great selection. I love the place, the smell, the smokers, the humidor, it's what a cigar room should be. Best cigar store in The Woodlands!

Went to Mikes and have recently started going there more often. Selection in the humidor is the best around town, people are great and you can sit and enjoy a conversation or watch a football game on the tv. Very knowledgeable staff, accommodating and friendly. Carry some good brands as well that other places don't, RoMa Craft!! One Of my favorites. Prices are reasonable but note to self bring yourself a drink if you plan on hanging out for a smoke. They close at seven but don't force you out if your smoke runs a few minutes over, not sure there is a negative about this cigar shop. read more

I frequent this place quite a bit. They have a decent selection and the older guy is quite knowledgeable. One thing I dislike that will probably keep me from returning is the anti-social, rude younger guy behind the counter. Out of the numerous times I've been there I've come to realize has absolutely no people skills. His attitude portrays i'm an inconvienence. Put the younger kid back in the stock room away from the socialites and I'm sure the rating will rise. read more

I've been here several times, the humidor is a decent selection but the owner often smokes in the humidor which is pretty crappy. I've never once had good customer service, the owner is pretty much a dick. Treating every question like you're retarded and not worth his time. read more
