For starters, I've been a customer over 3 years, and previously gave a positive review here on Yelp. I've always known their prices are higher than other shops I visit, but this one has been convenient and I was willing to pay for the convenience. The staff friendly and reliable with orders and so on. However on a recent visit I went in looking for a large storage container and a new rolling machine. They did not have a container in stock, but said they would order more in they would be in stock in a couple of days. So I asked about the rolling machine and they produced one for blunts; too big. I specifically asked for the roller for "Zig~Zag orange." Everything went well from there, or so I thought. I purchased the roller and told them I'd check back the following week for the storage container. Once home I realized they had sold me a machine that is 1/4" too small. So... I returned to the store a week later hoping to to find the storage container and exchange the still shrink wrapped, price tagged, etc roller. I was happy they had both the container (1 gal.) and the correct roller in stock. Next, they shocked me when they said they would not exchange the roller, a $9.24 item, for the correct size. When I explained that this would cost them my future business I was told "I can't help you." PS: I bought the correct roller for $5 and ordered the container I needed at a new shop on Rayford. read more

As a registered nurse and first responder, I stopped by to pick up some CBD gummies. They've been working wonderfully for my anxiety and PTSD. I was let down to discover that 1). Masks are not required, 2). Shop manager wears no mask but for some reason has plexiglass protecting the register area (not sure of the logic here) and 3). No first responder discount is offered. People realize that the reason the devastation has been (somewhat) alleviated is because of healthcare workers and scientists... right?! I don't expect nor want a medal. This is my stop when I need glass and papers. They have always had good products and the guy that is always there is very chill and answers my questions honestly. The he has made certain recommendations that saved me money and not just try and sell me the most expensive thing on the shelf. He has helped with at least two water pipes and a handful of stuff from refillable lighters and other accessories. On my last visit he noticed my interest in this raw travel pouch and after my purchase he threw it in and said "enjoy it on me". Come on if that's not customer service I don't know what is. I've bought Kratom from them before at a fixed price. It has been a while since I last went there. Today I wanted to buy another bag of it. The employee starts calling his boss because he does not know the price of what he is selling, which is dumbfounding. Then, for a very small quantity, they wanted a lot of money. A LOT. They don't know the Kratom market, and depending on the client, they charge different prices. I usually bought 250gr of Kratom for $40. Today they wanted 80!! Tomorrow they might want $1,000. Don't shop there. Better shop at PaPa smoke, more reliable and better service. And the employee got angry and called me the N word many times after I pointed out that I bought from them before and never at that price. Clearly this guys don't really want to make business, they want to fool you. My husband frequented the Conroe, TX location to purchase me an expensive glass pipe for Christmas. Imagine my disappointment when I opened my gift on Christmas to find a pipe with chips and cracks all over it. I asked my husband, who is not a smoker if he inspected the pipe before purchase. He said no, he had picked it from the shelf and the clerk wrapped it up for him. I took back the pipe, still in all the original packaging, wanting a product that was not damaged. I was shocked when the clerk immediately got defensive with me when I unwrapped and asked him to look at the damage. He then used profanity to order me out of the shop. When I asked to speak to management or the owner, he said that was not possible and then threatened to call the police on me. Undeterred, I told him to go ahead because I was calm and not cussing, and simply wanted to speak with someone in charge. He threatened to call the police again and when I didn't leave he eventually called the owner. Fadwa Carrillo, the owner, also used profanity to tell me to leave here store, with another threat of a call to the police, and then accused me of being a drug user and bringing paraphernalia into her store. Mind you, she was on the phone and not in her place of business to witness anything. Everyone I spoke with used foul language, were belligerent, and treated me as if I were a criminal. This establishment sells below par and damaged merchandise along with being rude and discourteous. I highly suggest you buy your smoking accessories elsewhere. read more
