I prefer the Signature Habano which can go head-to-head with Liga Privada or Padron but is half the cost. Their hand rolled cigars are good but after buying one for $19, they charge you another $10 to smoke it in their lounge. That's ridiculous! Understand your comment. You can justify it however you like, but I've been to about a dozen other cigar lounges and none of them have charged me to smoke in them after buying one of the cigars they sell. And they all have leather seating, TV's, sodas and beer for sale, etc. You should check out your competition. read more

I've been coming to BlackHouse for about five or six years. I've been a member for over a year. Bradley and the staff do an amazing job of accommodating guest. Ok I will start by saying I am not a cigar smoker but my best friend was. I went in to get a good cigar to be cremated with my friend who passed suddenly. I explained that I do not smoke and know nothing about cigars but wanted a good one for my friend who had passed. The lady that helped me picked out a cigar and then told me it was free. I said I never smoke so hard to get your money back but she said it was on them. Crystal (sp?) was a great help in giving us information about how the establishment hand rolls their own cigars and the membership options they had available. The lounge area is very well appointed with several games such as a craps table, darts, several TVs and snacks. There is also BlackHouse's own house blend of coffee available and some wines. The atmosphere was like sitting in your buddy's man cave out in the garage, They only sell their own blend of cigars hand rolled by the owners personally, but they are a very tasty, high quality stick. I visited while in town on business. I wanted to have a nice relaxing smoke, found this place on line and decided to stop by. I'm super glad that I did. I sat for over an hour having an awesome conversation with the owners on a variety of topics. I even had a wonderful young lady offer me a shot of her favorite whiskey.
