The exit door was closed, but the front door was open, and the machine freely took my money when I chose the wash I wanted, eluding that one should be able to get a car wash. I thought it was weird that the exit door was closed, but I presumed it would open automatically after the wash was complete. I tried to call for a refund, but the phone is disconnected. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR WASH AT ALL based solely on these facts. Instead, I went to Mike's Car Wash up the street, where they provided great service, and I got the car wash I needed.

Ran terrible after work . Did not drain all of the old oil. . Added 5.1 quarts which overfilled by over two quarts. . Only drained overfill leaving some old oil. . When asked why they don't drain from the oil plug, they said that the trans and oil pan plugs are too close and their technicians might not open the right one. . When asked why their machine didn't suck out all the old oil, they said the 2024 Subaru Forester has a compartmented oil pan. . They obviously didn't check the oil level. Now almost anyone who has a y motor sense know that overfilling a motor by even one quart can cause serious damage to an engine. This was overfilled by al.ost three quarts! Even though I am a certified mechanic (M169169), the only reason I found this was because it ran so bad. Probably what was happening was because of the pressure increase, oil was blowing by the piston rings and fouling the combustion chamber. DO NOT GO TO TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE.

Nothing out of the order was reported. Nothing was looked at under the hood...this car (2022 Honda CRV) is only used part time and has less than 9,000 miles on it. I asked to check the air pressure in my front passenger tire, which the "tech" did begrudgingly, adding a little. I paid and left. The invoice says that the air filter was clean (it should be, but was never looked at), Power steering noted as "safe level", though they never looked at it, coolant and transmission fluid levels were at safe levels, though they were never looked at, Washer Fluid was marked as "filled", though I know it was not checked. Wiper blades were OK, but they were not looked at, Oil Level noted as "safe level", God, I hope so! The windshield was marked as "Cleaned", but no one touched it. Later that day, I received a low tire pressure alarm. I took it to a nearby Firestone Shop and they said all 4 tires were low (and charged me nothing although I wanted to pay something). The truck I came in for was in need of tires, and I wasn't sure if that was something I would have to pay for on top of the listing price, or if it could be negotiated, etc. The first thing Bob told me (before I even brought it up) was that he won't sell a car with bad brakes or tires. He had the tires replaced with a quality set, even had a second key made, and the truck was spotless when I finally picked it up. A highlight of Center City Collision is their communication- they call twice a week to give a general update on the car's status, as well as were quick to respond to my (many) calls and emails. I was referred to Center City Collision by my insurance as a in network body shop, so taking my car their would facilitate the repairs. Paul communicated with my insurance company the whole time and I was never concerned with that aspect of the process. Additionally, he promptly sent me an estimate of the parts and time needed for the repairs. Unfortunately the parts for my foreign car were slow to be delivered, but they were quick to repair the damage (in the timeline given during the estimate) and when a needed part hadn't been noticed in the repair process, they had it overnighted and offered a rental car. Lastly, my car was spotless when I picked it up. So while the process was long and had a hiccup, this place deserves 4 stars for their customer service.

They then refused to send the quote into the insurance company until I promised to do the work through them instead of my repair shop of choice. I was lied to; this practice is just wrong, and CARSTAR wasted my time - all over a minor repair job. You've earned a 1 star review; I hope losing a customer was worth it.
