Fourteen months later this project is still not complete. Infact, Jon quit on the project after about six months and wouldn't return any of my text messages or my phone calls. I had to hire a carpenter, electrician and a plumber to complete the project. There were a few small things that I completed myself. Throughout the project Jon wanted me to pay up front before a task were completed but I refused to pay until the job was finish. Jon and his wife Michelle seems to be nice people but they lack project management skills. I wouldn't hire him or Karma Construction to do any other building project for me again.

Deck wasn't built to drawing specifications. Builder had MK return to correct issues but MK has failed to even order materials necessary to complete the work. After months of back and forth, builder has finally agreed to bring another contractor to correct and finish the job. MK simply used shortcuts to complete the work. MK crews were not engaged with their work to deliver a quality product. There was minimal oversite provided to minimize issues before it was too late. Would not recommend this contractor at all.
