No problem! Forty minutes after that, she calls to tell me that because we were interested in buying our own cabinets and appliances that they were not interested. She just decided to read what I had written on the contact sheet. Proceed at your own risk.

We are exceptionally pleased with our space as well as our frequent guests and clients who enter through the custom double doors. Now in 2025 after having a structural engineer come in with a reputable general contractor we will have a full report and estimate of repair to reconstruct the deck to make it up to code for the new buyer. A huge open wound has been exposed and Mike Germain has nothing to say for himself. The second photo is directly from the contract we signed and completed with him. We certainly paid and upheld our part of the contract. On a side note, at the time of the construction in 2020 I had completed an egg collection for an IVF cycle a few days before the crew arrived. We also had a close relative with dementia in a memory care unit that was going to be moving into hospice and the work that was being completed by Mike was so she could return home. There were a lot of concerns brought to Mike's attention and he basically deflected, denied, gaslit and pressed forward, and now here we are in 2025. Mike Germain finally responded after multiple requests to address the lack of permits and final inspection on our project as well as the problems coming to light. We requested his contractor's license number and he refused to provide it. This brings into question if he even has one. When he responded he created a very false narrative and explained that we were trying to rush the project to start and accused my wife of asking him to forgo permits. We were not even aware until last week that this situation was a far larger problem than we ever planned or paid for. This is extremely suspect! BEWARE!!!

They did a major renovation for us in late 2016 (including new kitchen, taking walls down in an upstairs bedroom to make it an open space, installing installing railings, painting and more), and have followed up with several additional projects over the years - a new deck and patio with fire pit (2018), master bathroom renovation (2019) and installation of interior doors to add separation for an additional office space (2020). All of the work looks just as good today as when it was newly completed. Jonathan closely supervises everything that's done to ensures that it is a consistently high quality at a very reasonable price point. After 45 years, the old insulation was falling out and holding moisture. He cleaned up the mess, bricked in the old vents and managed a crew to upgrade us to an encapsulated crawl space. Finished off by building a new door and installing a dehumidifier. Right Choice Renovations can either do it or knows someone who can. So we called Blanding and they told us all the horrible that thus renovation done and they wouldn't touch it. The structure of our deck is done wrong. We gave them thousands of our hardworking money and they used unskilled people that didn't know what they were doing. The kitchen they put out all the appliances and left them in the middle of the floor and never came back after giving them thousands and thousands of dollars. Don't trust them.

Before I could even enjoy my shower the tile walls started cracking. There was a big hole in one tile that had been filled in with grout to hide. The tiles on the bathroom floors started coming up immediately. There were so many things wrong. I eventually had to hire another contractor to come in and demo EVERYTHING that Joe had done, and redo my entire bathroom again. When the new contractor took out the shower, we found that the pipes had cuts in them and Joe had just covered them up. Everything that Joe did had to be replaced because of the poor installation. I paid him over 28k, and I paid for most of the materials myself. He is very dishonest, and made promises that he NEVER intended to keep. He said he would call me to schedule a meeting to talk about a refund, and he hasn't returned any of my calls, emails or text. if you are considering him for a job, DON'T!!!!! He and his workers who are not licensed, scratched my laminate flooring in 3 rooms. Unfortunately my flooring is no longer available so the rooms would need to be completely replaced. He said he could fix the scratches, but he hasn't. He has no regard for personal property.
