I recently bought a car from Whatley Honda. They promised to detail clean the car. We get the car back and the seatbelt wasnt working properly after they pulled it all the way out to clean it....part of the process. They wanted to charge me over $300+ to fix it saying that they would pay the other $00+. I advised that the car should have been in working order when i bought it.....and I added that I had a bumper to bumper warranty. So, they fixed the seatbelt, and used the warranty, but charged us $100 as the "deductable." It was mentioned that if they had that problem (the seatbelt) prior to selling it to me, they would have added that to the price of the car and I would have paid it anyway. I feel like I've been cheated. What are your thoughts? read more

I just want to say how much I love your team - Candace, Chuck, Taylor, Mike and James. When I buy another Honda I don't care what state I live in, I am coming back to Mike Whatley Honda. A few weeks ago (June 18) I was traveling to MS to my Mom's house late at night from FL and my new Honda Accord I purchased the prior month in FL broke down. The part was backordered with no ETA. Everyone at Whatley Honda went out of their way to find someone who could repair my car so I could get back to FL safely. No other dealership would have worked this hard to repair a part that was unavailable. They have some very talented mechanics. Thanks to them I got back home to FL safely and my vehicle is still running while I wait for the new radiator from Honda. The service manager Chuck even called to make sure I made it home safely. So if you are going to buy a Honda - buy from the best even if it is out of state! read more

After a few weeks of back and forth, the owner of this dealership came through and rectified the misunderstanding. We now are able to legally tow with our Pilot!! The initial experience all seems to be one big misunderstanding that could've been resolved with better communication. We are grateful that the dealership chose to go the extra mile and help us resolve this issue and we are happy to have this dealership close by to use in the future. read more

Be forewarned. 1) MY CAR STINKS. I bought the car on a sunny day, the kind where you open car windows and enjoy the fresh air. By the time I drove it the half hour to my parents house, the smoke smell inside the car was strong enough to overwhelm my mom when she opened the doors. I called the dealership to ask if they would be willing to have it detailed for me and the salesman suggested I try such fabulous remedies as air fresheners and scrubbing the whole thing down with baking soda. Fast forward to now, a year later-- IT STILL SMELLS LIKE SMOKE. I've tried product after product after product to get the smell removed. How on earth the previous owner smoked enough in the 10k miles they owned it for the smell to linger so long is beyond me. Coworkers get in my car and ask if I smoke; my mom is still not convinced I've not picked up a secret habit. 2) My paperwork for title took forever to arrive. It was initially sent to the wrong place and I had to do a lot of searching all over Houston to track down what might have happened. And they overcharged me sales tax - which I was later refunded, but dang. Can't you google? 3) Their cleaning crew leaves a lot to be desired. I discovered after I got home that there was grass and dirt underneath the back seats. When I called the dealership about other things and mentioned this, the manager pretty much agreed their crew didn't clean well, and acted like it was no big deal. 4) I got the extended warranty on the basis of I'm a young female with no family in the city where I live-- and I have no hope at car repairs. One of the main reasons I got it is because, in the past, the roadside assistance from an extended warranty has been a game changer for me. Guess what's not included? Roadside assistance. It's just not worth it - the warranty isn't gonna include any misfortune that will actually befall a Honda. read more

I traded for a Camry on August 15th. If I could undo things, I would. I was sold a car that was in no way, shape, or form ready to be sold. The seats were torn. I agreed to take $100 discount to fix the front, but I didn't notice the rear until later, and it cost me over $100 to get them both fixed. The front tires are bald. I asked Mike Duffy why they weren't rotated, and he tried to tell me that they had been and that they passed inspection. It would make zero sense for someone to rotate tires with less tread to the front of the vehicle. He blatantly took me for a fool and tried to lie to me. I have to reinflate my rear right tire every morning before work. The key fob does not lock/unlock my driver or front passenger doors. The car had no floor mats. They were shipped to me later. The driver side one has gum stuck in it. Kevin Turner didn't return one text message or phone call. Mike Duffy promised to return a call to me didn't until I left an internet review of the business. I was told anything that needed to be fixed would have to be through the $2500 warranty I purchased or I could drive several 100 miles back and drop the car off, even though these were problems that existed while the car was on the lot. I've left a couple reviews online. I will leave more, and I'm currently drafting a report for the attorney general. read more

Poor Customer service in the service department. I called whan my car would not start less than a mile from the store. The servicing department never asked not once how they could help me NO PROBLEM ILL TAKE MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more
