I was given a song and dance salesman by the name of Lamar Scott and he really "SOLD" me the vehicle that I wanted. He told me a variety of things that did not come to fruition, to include 3-4 hard pulls on my credit and this guy didn't even have an office. I should have known better when I saw this but I was under the impression it's getting done so by any means of if I get what I signed up for then so be it. Well I didn't get what I signed up for. It was difficult to get him on the phone and when I did I was told that I can't have what I signed up for and they're not working on anything to rectify my issue. The office manager Glen was condescending and said what do I want them to do. Well sir I want you to used your resources, which are exponentially greater than mine, and find me a truck. Then spoke with the general manager Alex the following Monday only to be spoke to as if I were less than. Now I see why this company had to close it's doors and reopen with a different name. When we got there, the truck we came to see had a torn seat and clearly did not match the photos posted online. I still tried to work with them and looked at another vehicle, but once it was started, it immediately began squealing and the check engine light came on. At no point was I asking for a refund--I was just trying to understand what I was told about my vehicle. I was also told in-store that my car "requires premium oil," which is misleading. After reviewing my vehicle's manufacturer specifications, that is not an actual requirement--only the correct full synthetic oil type is needed. This made the interaction even more frustrating. Customer service matters just as much as the work being done. Being spoken to in a dismissive and defensive way, especially when asking a simple question, is unacceptable. I hope management or corporate takes this seriously and works on improving communication and professionalism. I would recommend others ask detailed questions upfront and ensure they are getting clear, accurate information before agreeing to services.
