Mr. Mike's is fine. Their prices are lower than average and their work matches their prices. I've taken several vehicles to them for paint and light body repairs and they've all come back looking better.
That said, the vehicles have always come back with issues--a stripped windshield wiper nut, a slash in the windshield gasket, overspray on rearview mirrors and windows, too little paint on roofs, abrasions on old paint that had been in decent condition, presumably from attempts to clean off overspray. Because the prices are low and my vehicles are weird projects, I don't care. If you had a nice car, you would care. There are better shops for nice cars.
An average rating is not a criticism--I am truly glad Mike's is a genuinely affordable, okay paint shop. We need more businesses like this. My cars didn't need fussy attention to detail and I didn't want to pay for it. Mr. Mike's was a good fit for me and, if I can't find somewhere cheaper, I'll probably go back. read more
