I recently got my trucks tailgate replaced by Hood's Etc. I was serviced by the gentleman at the front desk--Rod, Armando, and CJ. They were very helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. The tailgate also needed to be sprayed and paint matched along with the sprayed in bed liner. I could not be happier with the outcome. They even handled the insurance stuff. Even though the total charge was just $131, I got treated courteously and respectfully, as if my bill had been thousands of dollars. Hood's was recommended to me by my regular Service Tech at AutoNation for some minor body work. I drove to Hood's to check them out. My first impression was great. A relatively new building with a freshly paved parking lot impressed me. I elected not to go with a formal estimate but just a ballpark figure quote to get things rolling. It was a simple job, just some paint work and buffing on the corners of the bumpers. After agreeing that Hood's would do the work I was scheduled to return in two days and that the job would be completed in a day and a half. When the front bumper cover on my 2000 Mercedes SL 500 got ripped off by a parking stop which had the rebar sticking up about 2" I went to Hood's. Yes it's his real name :) Not only did they fix it and repaint the whole thing but the fit and finish is better than when it came from the factory. Excellent friendly and fast service and they are a Statefarm preferred shop to boot. The quality of work is what really stands out though.
