They discovered three nails in my rear passenger tire and actually showed me exactly where they were and explained why, because of their location, the tire could not safely be repaired. They also measured the tread on all four of my tires and took the time to explain my options. Since my other tires were already fairly worn and my Palisade is AWD, I ultimately decided to replace all four. Fortunately, they had a buy-three-get-one-free special going on, which definitely helped take some of the sting out of an unexpected expense! They performed a complimentary alignment check with the new tires and found that my rear camber needed adjustment. They showed me the results, explained everything clearly, and gave me a discount on the alignment. There was also a front camber measurement that would require an additional kit to correct, but instead of trying to sell me something I may not need, they recommended monitoring the tire wear during future rotations and only addressing it if it becomes necessary. I really appreciated that. What could have been a very frustrating experience was made much easier by the staff being friendly, patient and transparent throughout the entire process. I never felt pressured, and I appreciated being shown the actual tire damage and alignment results so I could make an informed decision. I went in for a patch and certainly didn't expect to leave with four new tires and an alignment , but I left feeling confident that the work actually needed to be done and that my vehicle is safer because of it. This was my second time using Dave's services. Driving on the Pacific Coast Highway a week or so…read moreago a young deer jumped out into the side of my car. I was very fortunate that I was driving slow because it was dark. The deer hit the right side but the only damage it did was break the brackets (front and back) that held the bumpers to the body and broke molding around the wheel well in the rear. Dave gave me a very reasonable estimate and after he ordered the parts it only took him a half day to replace. It was totally efficient and quick. When I went to pick up the car, it had even been washed!! Good work, pleasant people, efficient, and reasonable price. Cant think of much more I'd want. This business is run by Dave and his family, which I also like. The family seems to like what they do. If the photos now look normal it is because the work was well done. Hope to never need body work/repair again but if I do, I will be heading to Dave's.
