We've worked with two other roofing contractors in the Omaha area that completed the work within a reasonable timeframe. However, their teams left a lot of debris for us to clean up. We had bats get into our attic on both occasions. For our third new roof project, we decided to go with Siefken Contracting. Jared was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. The only headache we had to endure was our insurance company fighting tooth and nail to not provide coverage. Jared and his team fought for us and communicated well. We have since moved to a new home and had to replace the roof again - lucky us. We went with Siefken for a second time. We had another great experience with their team. We're currently having Siefken replace the windows in our home. This is our first time using them outside of roofing, and their team has been great to work with once again. I can't sing their praises enough and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Omaha area.

We had 107 mph winds with rain in Omaha NE that resulted in a leak in our kitchen. We had never…read morehad a leak before. We thought it came from a roof turbine so we called Thompson and Thompson because they have experience with wind turbines. Dan Evans came out and determined that perhaps we had a seal on a turbine that was leaking. So we replaced not one but 4 turbines at a cost of $1200. He assured us that after we replaced them we could repair our ceiling so we did. Subsequently after the repair of the ceiling we had an 87 mph wind With rain. We had water in the same spot and other additional spots this time. I'm 73 years old and I had never been in the attic before. But I crawled up there to see if I could find the problem. I was appalled at the condition of the insulation where we had the leak. It had been spread around so that it was 2-3 inches thick in some places and bare in others. It was apparent the leak had been looked for but the insulation had not been put back in place. Water did come in from the turbine. It was not excessive but it was enough to stain the ceiling. I found the original leak to be coming from the hot water vent. It was quite obvious. I had that repaired by a HVAC contractor for $400. And an insulation contractor fixed the insulation at a cost of $3000. This included extra insulation to make it correct throughput the attic. They may be good roofing contractors, but seem to know little about fixing leaks. It cost me at least $1200 I didn't need to spend.

What like my wife and I were gonna do it for them, or hire another company to do it? Claimed we didn't request our detached garage in the bid (like we want our garage a different color than our house?) They ripped all the screens on our windows, ripped our internet hardline out of the wall costing us $200 to get the company to come out and reinstall it. You can see the screws used to secure siding from the street. Left materials thrown about the yard, The project manager Mathew should be flipping burgers in a sleazy diner .... It's going to cost us 3 times the contract amount to fix their work... folks run in the opposite direction...
