Our arborist, Randy, took time to discuss in detail, what was best for the trees while simultaneously balancing his recommendations with our end desires. At my request, he personally supervised the work and maintained consultation with me throughout the progression. Byron and the crew were efficient and professional while also maintaining communication with Randy. Nicole, the office manager was accommodating and attentive in executing the contract while Lindsey, the administrative assistant, coordinated it all very quickly and efficiently and acted as go-between to promptly schedule the project in precisely the fashion I requested. The result was a highly satisfying and expertly executed result for my project. I highly recommend About Trees for your project.

Eugene and his crew from about trees were friendly, very professional and definitely went the extra mile with the work they did on our trees. Cleaned up afterwards and left The yard looking as well as before they started the job. My wife and I were both very pleased with their work and they're very good Customer Service! Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

After we moved in, I found there was still a leak, so Mike's, who had been paid to fix it, was called to come back out and fix it. Mike came out and looked at it and promised to come back the next day and fix it. He did not show up. A few days later I texted him and he said that he forgot about me. He then promised to come fix it "in a day or two." Several days later he did send a guy out to dig a little around the box. That guy said that his boss would be out the next day to fix it. He didn't show and he didn't call or text. After 3 or 4 days I sent him a text. His reply after stringing me along for two weeks was, "Sorry for the inconvenience, you are going to have to find someone else." I was and still am incredulous. I cannot imagine anybody treating customers that way, let alone walking away from a job like that. I did find an excellent company who came out and did the job, no thanks to Mike's. One star is too high, I wish there was an option for zero stars for Mike's Yard Sevice. They are terrible, DO NOT hire Mike's Yard Care for anything.

Bernie gave us a good estimate and made great accommodations to fit the job into our schedule. The crew showed up on time. They were professional. They worked hard. To protect our belongings, they covered everything below the tree with tarps. I was so impressed when I watched them work and saw how high into the tree they climbed to do this job. It was clear that Bernie and the crew made every effort to do the job well and safely for the crew as well as our property. The job was done in a single day which considering the access was amazing. The clean-up was thorough and they put everything on the patio back to its original place. Based on our experience, I would recommend Chico Tree Service to friends, neighbors and family.

They used my ladder and left it laying in the yard, it's very heavy. Jonathan said he would cut the wood in 16 inch lengths, but only cut up some of it. Cleanup was shoddy and they left my gate open, would I hire him again, no. Would not recommend his service, nor recommend using this site when in need of help. Very disappointed, but they got the tree down.

Anyone that can't even be bothered to respond or admit that they're too busy shouldn't provide services. Very disappointing.

Mixed Experience - Kind Crew, But Lacking in Execution…read more I hired Abe's Yard Clean-Up for a large garden project and appreciated that the quote supported a small crew of respectful, hard-working young men. They were courteous and professional in demeanor, which I valued. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not match the price. Several areas of my yard were left uncleared, trimmings were not cleaned up, and there was little attention paid to garden features like solar lights. I requested a return visit to address what was missed, which they did--but the initial lack of detail was disappointing. Most frustrating was when a shovel of soil was tossed over my koi pond, leaving it full of dirt. I had to spend hours restoring the water quality myself. I do have photos documenting the issues. Overall, the experience was a mix--good intentions, kind workers, but a lack of follow-through and care in execution. I hope they grow from this, as they clearly have potential with better oversight.

I agreed to show up 8/27/18. I worked 2 days for Mike Robbins the owner at Lawns R US on 8/27-8/28/2018. I was never paid for my work as an employee of his on supposed payroll. It's been almost 3 months, No check or mailed paycheck or phone call to come pick it up. I left after 2 days of work because of how he talked to his employees and he didn't believe his 4 employees telling him that the driver didn't hit anything. I also got bad vibes when I didn't receive any paperwork to sign about starting wages and job title. I wasn't going to keep working for someone who verbally said $12 an hour and not produce paper trail. Now I have to file a claim with labor board because my stomach feeling was right to quit my job at lawns r us. So after posting a review Mike magically found my number to issue my wages. Took almost 3 months. He said the check got returned with no evidence and put different working dates.
