We purchased a new Equinox from Mike Bell and are delighted with our new vehicle. The purchase experience was great from start to finish. Of all the purchases we have made over the years this was best experience. The price was better than at other dealerships. If you're looking for a great place to buy a new vehicle I strongly recommend this dealership and most of all ask for Brian Haney he made the experience what it was great! Thank you Brian! read more

Update: Mike Bell finally delivered my vehicle to my home 9/28/26 after starting repair work 7/11/26, that 2 months and 3 weeks later if you're counting. My wife drove my truck 24 miles and was left on the side of the road with a brand new motor overheating. However, Mike Bell Chevrolet finally took some initiative and had it towed back to their less than wonderful establishment. I was then informed 9/29 that an engine coolant hose had come loose. I also reported that in the 24 mile return of my vehicle, it is now bouncing when it was accelerating and told by Anthony, the service advisor, that he didn't notice anything of the such when he drove. However, I drove it very bouncingly, if that's really a word, to Athens, Ga. Only to take it to Athens Chevrolet with a check engine light on and reduced acceleration. Ona brand new motor with now 142 miles on it and it's been returned now a 3 rd time. These guys have no clue what they are doing!! I will happily report what the new Chevrolet service department advises of the issue hopefully this week but I'm confident it won't take close to 3 months this time. Save yourself this trouble and go elsewhere! read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL...BEWARE I spent several days negotiating a Chevy 2500 purchase with Mike Bell Chevrolet and Elisjah. After going back and forth, Jordan Bell personally worked the numbers and got within approximately $300 of my final offer. I agreed to the price. I then completed a credit application and authorized a hard credit inquiry. Tyler, a sales manager, asked if I was serious about purchasing the truck and said he would "hold" it while I checked with my credit union. My bank couldn't beat their financing, so I decided to finance through the dealership. The following morning, Austin, another sales manager, and Kourtney contacted me to finalize everything. We agreed on the rate and term and scheduled an 8:30 AM appointment for my test drive and final paperwork. I was told the truck would be ready for delivery and finance would have everything prepared for my arrival. Then, later that afternoon, Austin called and told me the truck had been sold to someone else earlier that same morning. I asked how that was possible when I had been told the truck was being held and prepared for my delivery. His response was essentially, "Sorry, that's how it goes. I asked to speak with Tyler. I was told he would call me when he returned. He never did. I also requested a call from Jordan Bell, who personally worked on the deal. I was told my information would be placed on his desk first thing the next morning. No call. I followed up again and specifically requested a call from Jordan. Still no call. What bothers me most isn't that the truck was sold. Deals fall apart and vehicles get sold. What is unacceptable is spending countless hours negotiating, having my credit pulled, being told the vehicle would be held, agreeing to financing, scheduling an appointment for delivery, and then having the truck sold out from under me -- followed by absolutely zero accountability from management. Not one person in management had the professional courtesy to call me and explain what happened or attempt to make the situation right. In my opinion, there isn't an ounce of character or integrity amongstthe management team at Mike Bell Chevrolet. Kourtney was excellent throughout the process and completely professional. Unfortunately, the actions -- and especially the inaction -- of management completely overshadowed that. I will never do business with Mike Bell Chevrolet , and I strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere. read more

Terrible customer service!!! Employees seem to lack experience and knowledge. A few years back they gave my keys to another customer and had me waiting in the lobby for hours without being told. I had just went in for an hour or so oil change and tire rotation which turned into 3-4 hours. I started using a different dealership after that experience but decided to go back after a year because they are the closest one to me. However during my recent routine service they messed up my oil pan. Highly disappointed! Customer support was not much help either! read more

Terrible experience at this dealership! They agreed to an offer on a 2019 Toyota Camry in writing, and when my husband and I went to pick up the vehicle, they decided not to honor the agreed upon price and expected us to pay an additional $4500. We understood that they would not honor the offer that THEY accepted via email, and asked for a refund for a pre-purchase inspection (that we got on the premise that our offer was accepted), and they refused. Upon our initial arrival, my husband went and got an independent inspection on the vehicle based on the agreed upon offer and the other reviews stating that this dealership does not sell quality cars. When we returned to the dealership after the inspection to finalize the purchase, they informed us that they would not be honoring the already agreed upon offer, that was accepted in writing, and that we would need to pay an additional $4500 for the vehicle. We asked to be reimbursed for the inspection cost since they would not honor the originally agreed upon price, and they refused. Very shady business practices, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

We've had a few good experiences with Mike Bell Chevy with routine service and a recall issue, but things really went bad when my husband scheduled a repair for his truck. He had an error message come up on the dash. He called the dealership and scheduled an appointment early one morning to have it serviced. We dropped our truck off for service and waited all day to hear something (we didn't). My husband called to check on the progress that afternoon and was told they hadn't looked at it yet (WHAT?!?). He asked about the appointment, and they informed him that it was an appointment to get in line to be worked on....not an actual appointment for when the work would be done (yes, I'm serious). He told them he had to have his truck - he couldn't leave it up there for days before it was even looked at. They still wouldn't tell him when they would actually start work on it, so he told them he was coming to get it the next day. He complained to the service department, and was basically met with a shrug. We got a call from who I assume was the service manager, and he basically told us that yes - that is exactly how they do business. The appointment time meant the truck was in line to be worked on....not the time the truck actually got worked on. He talked to us like we were in the wrong for thinking a scheduled appointment meant that the truck would be worked on during that time. Needless to say we were floored. Also needless to say we will not be returning to that dealership. We made an appointment with Liberty Chevy in Villa Rica for the same issue. We dropped off the truck at our scheduled appointment time with Nycole Mauldin. She was friendly and got us going right away. We got a text a few minutes later that the truck was in the system and would be serviced soon. We got another text when the service started. We got a phone call a few hours later letting us know that everything had been taken care of. This was followed up by another text letting us know the truck was ready to be picked up. When we got there, she even ran out in the parking lot and got the truck and brought it to the service entrance door. Super nice. Friendly. Helpful. Error message is gone. We were 100% pleased with the service we received with Nycole at Liberty and will for sure be returning whenever we need service. read more

I had a very good experience with Mike Bell Chevrolet with the purchase of my 2025 Silverado. They honored the advertised price that I found is unusual with other dealers that advertise discounts on new trucks. They also gave me top dollar for my trade in. I found that it was very easy to do business with them. There was no taking back and forth of my offer to the sales manager- he came to me and we quickly closed the deal. One of the best experiences I ever had when buying a new vehicle - I wouldn't dread dealing with car dealership if they all did business like Mike Bell Chevrolet. read more

There techs probably make a good $25 the rest is a magic show. Thanks for nothing Mike bell read more

I wish I could give a minus 1 star about their service dept. We purchased a used vehicle from them specifically because the carfax was so great....but it was all lies. They stated that the transmission was fine and the brakes were new. We didn't even get home from the dealership before the transmission acted up. They said no problem, bring it back and they would put a new one in at no cost. Great right? After 3 weeks we got it back and the transmission was still bad. Took it back again and 5 weeks later (that's right, it took them 5 weeks to find a part) we got it back. The very next day the brakes caught on fire! So they lied on the carfax and did none of the servicing that they claimed to have done. Very disappointed with the communication too...it was almost nonexistent. read more

If I could award negative stars, I would do that. I attempted to order a new car from Tim Prater (Salesman at Mike Bell Chevrolet) during our initial voice conversation, I told him about a local dealer that wanted $10,000 over MSRP and I walked away. He then proceeded to let me know that he was going to have an allocation the next month and I could have one. I said wow, great. After he ordered the new car, he sent me a Buyers Order that was really expensive and it was not the car I ordered, he said he would fix it (He didn't send a new one) and after several emails back and forth, he called and got me all worked up and excited about the new car going into build week. Then it was built and invoiced, it was the day after it was built that I received the actual buyers order. $15,000 over MSRP.... $15,000 over MSRP. I have every email and text, he never mentioned anything about over MSRP, heck, I even told him that I was not going to pay over MSRP. Well, he refunded my deposit and they are currently trying to sell the vehicle I ordered for $20,000 over MSRP plus Dealer Fees and Taxes. I hope it sits on their books for months. I have seen some unscrupulous sales tactics before, but this company is really bad. (As an aside: I spoke to the highest member of the management team and the message to me was they don't care about the circumstances of the conversations and emails, their policy is $15,000 over MSRP and that is that. Edit: This company according to "Zach Bell" pays someone to respond to negative comments. After I called multiple times last week, they sold the car on Saturday. Their statement that "the impression you received from our dealership is not okay. We would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to amend the situation, so contact me directly." was nothing more than a falsehood, a platitude written to give the appearance of concern, caring and customer service. They had multiple times to correct the issue and did not. According to Zach, they never had any interest in amending the situation. Digging that pit even deeper. read more

Originally purchased a Colorado at Mike Bell 2015. Pleasant experience overall and I loved the vehicle. Fast forward to today(2024) they were cold calling requesting I come in and they would give top dollar for trade in as they desperately needed trade ins. Went online as I was thinking of doing so and had in mind what I wanted. Their website was quoting me 17-18k for my Colorado where every other website(carmax, carvana, Scott Evans) quoted me 11-12k which is what kbb was also saying for trade in. I go into the dealership and they only offered 11k and was pressuring me to purchase the vehicle I was looking at with all these different scenarios. Made me extremely uncomfortable. Their website and tactics are just to get you in the door so they can pressure you like sleazy used car sales people at a new dealership. Stay away!! I ended up getting 12500 trade in at a dealership in Marietta with the deal I wanted. If their (Mike Bell)website was honest and the people weren't so pushy I would have traded in that day there and got the vehicle they had. I will never go back. If you want a Chevy go to Liberty or South Town. read more

Bought a equinox 2021 new from there. Whole vehicle shakes on startup and makes noises on acceleration. First time I brought it in it only had 600 miles on it. Twice I brought it in and they said they couldn't replicate the problem and it might be road noise. I asked for a manager to have me drive with the mechanic so he can hear it makes it every time on every road. I took a drive and he said he can hear it and something is going on with the tires And there might be an issue with the engine mounts. My car is in the shop Now and I have a $50 hold on my credit card because they are having me rent through enterprise had to wait an hour for the rental car to get there. I will post another review after service and let you know if they have fixed the issue. The service manager I have complained to is dean. Hopefully the actually acknowledge the problem. read more

Run away as fast as you can. This place is an absolute joke. They do not care about their customers, and they certainly don't care about you. I was in the market for a new Chevrolet Tahoe. I live 3 hours away from this dealership, however, I saw the exact model color and style that I wanted in a Tahoe, so I reached out to them to make the purchase. I am very much aware that in the current market, that I would be paying MSRP for this vehicle, and I was happy to do so, in cash!!! I also had a trade-in that they wanted, so I spent several hours taking photos so that they can come up with a value for the trade. They gave me a written offer, which I attached the photo to this post, and I excepted it. I asked how much they would like for me to put down using my credit card over the phone. The sales representative says that I had to show up to the dealership to make a credit card payment. I reminded them again that I lived three hours away, so that was not realistic. Again, as if she wasn't paying attention at all, she reminded me that they were open until 9 so I had time to get there to make the payment. For the 12th time, I reminded her that I live three hours away, but I'd be willing to drive down in a couple days when I had the day off from work, and by the car. She told me that the policy of the company is that they will actively continue to try to sell the vehicle, so in the event that some sucker was willing to pay more than MSRP, or they were able to screw someone over by giving them less than what their trade-in was worth, that they would sell the car to that unfortunate individual. So they couldn't guarantee me that the car would be available, even if I made the 6 hour round trip to this dealership. This is the most absurd thing I've ever heard of. And this is the reason why car dealerships get such a bad reputation. They do not care about you, and they're willing to throw you under the bus just to make a couple extra bucks. Do not buy a car from them, do not get your car service from them, they are completely unethical and unworthy of your business. I will be reporting this dealership to the Chevrolet company, because I am am sure that they would be appalled by how you are such a disgrace to the Chevrolet brand. Please don't reply to this post, with your cliché "We strive to offer the highest level of customer service" BS. Once the market turns around, and people aren't forced to buy vehicles from you, I am quite certain you will be out of business. And that will be a great thing for your community. read more

I am buying cars for my wife and I almost every year. I dealt with multiple dealerships, some better some a little less. I have NEVR dealt with such a bad dealership as this one. They are the reason why dealerships have such a bad reputation. They gave me an offer on a vehicle they advertised (I have the offer documented) the next morning when I was ready to go, they raised the price in $3,000. Of course I couldn't get hold with the manager, and when I finally managed to get hold with the general sales manager and asked him why they are not honoring the price they gave me he said "Listen man" (such an unprofessional approach) "Nothing is promised until the deal is done. The price is the price". That's the most disgusting disrespectful approach a customer can have. Not to mention that the vehicle was priced over the original window sticker therefor the dealership has a lot of profit in it, but I guess greed is stronger than respect to those people. There is a good reason why big corporates are taking over with these kind of shady people. I wonder if the owner knows what's going on in his dealership. I see few reviews that the owner is replying, asking to call the dealership and talk to the staff, well your staff is the issue. I will appreciate it a lot more if you called me and resolved the issue instead of just a generic reply. read more

My experience with Mike Bell's service department is hands down the worst I've ever encountered. Mark was the service tech, well supposed to be. I dropped my Tahoe off on 1/15/22 for an oil change and to check out a noise. I left it because he said they were very busy and could make an appointment for Thursday to have it looked at. I called multiple times Thursday and left messages and got no response. Same on Friday until I called from my work phone, he was screening my calls! He rudely said they were busy and haven't done anything. My husband called and was told they would try to look at it. Today, Monday, 1/22/24, the man wouldn't even take my call or call me back, had the receptionist tell me he'd call back in 10 minutes, that never happened. My husband had to call again because Mark won't talk to me. He told my husband they probably wouldn't get to it this week. They hadn't even changed the oil and I assume had no intention of ever checking out anything warranty related. I've had all my oil changed there, had tires put in there yet I'm not even with a phone call? Why does Chevy sell warranties if they refuse to even acknowledge a vehicle when brought in? Mark has a terrible attitude towards us as customers. I treated him with respect and common courtesy but it was certainly not shown in return. We had to pick my vehicle up and take it elsewhere because most of us don't just have extra transportation lying around. It makes me want to get rid of this Chevy and go back to Don Rich Ford where they performed every service and repair on my Explorer that I drove for 15 years. I regret ever choosing Mike Bell Chevrolet for servicing my vehicle. read more

When applying brakes to trailblazer there is a squealing sound. This sound started one month after purchase. Mike Bell Service has look at this 2 times and I'm being told this is normal. Normal brakes, rotors, or calibers do not squeal. If Chevrolet has lowered the quality of parts being used I'll never own another Chevy product. We worked with Lewis at Mike Bell Chevrolet. He was awesome and made the buying process painless and quick! We love our new car.

RUN AWAY!! WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE RATING IF IT WAS AN OPTION. Drove 2 hours across rush hour traffic to buy a car. Was promised that the car had checked out and no issues. We get there and the windshield has a crack and the tires are mismatched and one is about to bolw from a chunk missing on the sidewall. We work out those issues and are proceeding with purchase. We have a specific financing request that is repeated to salesman and finance guys at least 6 times which was completely ignored. The finance rate is significantly higher and finance guy could care less. My wife speaks the manager and he shrugs his shoulders and couldn't be more indifferent. Was so bad that we walk away from the deal. A week later as we are purchasing a car from a different dealer we find out the finance guy submitted me to 10+ different banks and causing my credit to drop 40 points. Recommended by a colleague to check out Mike Bell for my Suburban purchase. Worked with Jordan Bell over the phone and had all of my questions answered and any concerns addressed. The entire process was extremely smooth and I didn't leave the dealership feeling like I had been taken advantage of or swindled out of my money. Jordan had all of my paperwork ready and the vehicle was exactly what we had discussed. When I arrived, I met with David who walked me through the process made sure that all of our questions regarding the vehicle were answered. Mike in finance helped answer several questions and didn't overly push any added services and instead focused on what our desires were. As we were getting ready to drive off with the new vehicle, Jordan stepped out to thank us and shook my hand. I was very impressed with the level of customer service that we received and the fact that we did not feel pressured at any time during this process. I was apprehensive about driving 80+ miles to a dealer when I have one less than 10 miles from my house. I am very glad that we did and will definitely make this dealership my first stop on the next car buying journey. read more
