Amazing Service! I would definitely return for more treatments!…read more Kelly & team are great!

This is where my cryotherapy journey began back 6+ years ago. Since then, this studio has undergone…read morea lot a change...all for the better. In late 2019, it was offline thanks to a tornado that did major damage in the area. Within a year of being back at this location, the pandemic arrived which slowed things down. Thankfully, Cryo1one safely remained open throughout the early days of the pandemic and continues to thrive today. Recently, this location went through a major remodel to optimize the use of the space to accommodate the expanded service portfolio. Over the past ~24 months, the service portfolio expanded from to 2 to 8. Similar to the original 2 services (cryotherapy and IV Drips/Vitamin shots), all contribute to a healthy lifestyle and wellness journey. While I continue to do cryotherapy and mostly vitamin B12 shots, I have added most of the newer services to my routine, some on an as need basis. The new services include: Rapid Reboot Compression Boots: This has quickly become a favorite of mine and is now part of my regular routine. These boots really help with my recovery when it comes to leg soreness. The boots provide a 360° leg massage that is targeted and intentional in flushing out lactic acid. Recently, they added 'compression shorts' which focus more on the glutes and lower back...this is a game changer! Dry Salt Therapy: I find this to be very beneficial, especially in the December to February timeframe which is when my allergies tend to flare up (thanks to the mountain cedar pollen that is at its highest during those months). For those wondering, the treatment consists of micro-sized salt particles that naturally create an antibacterial environment, drawing out the excess moisture, mucus and impurities that are in the airways and on the skin. Also, an option when using this is to add the infrared lights creating an Infrared Sauna which just adds to experience and benefits. If you are an allergy suffer, I highly recommend trying this. BioCharger: The BioCharger NG facilitates an amplified and optimized transfer of electrons in and around your body without needing to leave the house, generating an effect familiar to individuals who practice 'Earthing' or 'Grounding', but in a more concentrated way. Bioharmonic Vibe Bed: Talk about relaxation...this is it!! As it says in the name, this is vibrating bed of sorts and that combined with the headphones which play spa-like music makes this a real treat. BallancerPro: For me, this is similar to the Compression Boots except it's on steroids. While the compression boots focus on the legs, this comes up to just above the abdominal area and focuses on the lymphatic system through a gentle massaging motion (think lymphatic massage). In addition to being very relaxing, I find this to be detox of sorts. The team here continues to be super cool (no pun intended); they are always very welcoming and super knowledgeable. Most importantly, they are easy to talk with which is important while in the cryo chamber as the conversation allows one to forget (sort of) how cold they are feeling. While walk-ins are welcome, scheduling is done via the Cryo1one app. Overall, I continue to be very pleased with Cryo1one and I am glad this is part of my health/wellness journey.

Everything that you need is inside the cryo room, so no need to bring anything with you. They provide robes, socks, gloves and slippers to protect your hands and feet. The entire process only takes a few minutes and before you know it you are in the machine and out. I felt the coldest the last minute of the therapy. The temperature decreases gradually, so it is not a blast of super cold air. Rainy talked me through the entire process and made the three minutes fly by really fast. I definitely want to come back in a week or so and get another treatment. I felt a little sleepy afterwards, but other than that my body temperature returned back to normal super quickly. I love that they have $25 happy hour specials from 3-5pm Monday through Thursday. I plan to come back during that time for sure!

I went in and met the owner, Gabby, a very young woman in her 20s, and loving the services and wanting to support a young business owner, I bought a monthly membership and additional services on top of that. At the end of 2023, I paid over $2,000 for NAD and went through the entire first round, which I hated. It was 4 days straight, 4 hours each day, and it made me feel awful. Gabby knew I definitely did not want to do this again soon, but convinced me to purchase an NAD credit for $400 and said this would remain on my account whenever I was ready to do it again. In 2024, I got very sick and spent 9 months in the hospital and the following months healing. I was excited to get back to my life and went to Restore to claim my NAD credit only to be told the credit was gone and expired. Gabby then pointed to a "90-day policy" on receipts, but there is absolutely no mention of this anywhere on my receipt. To make matters worse, I've spent thousands of dollars at other wellness and spa centers on service credits and I've never experienced this. Those credits always remained on my account until I was ready to redeem. And the idea that NAD was "bought specifically for me" and therefore couldn't be honored later is ridiculous. That's not how the industry works. if I paid for it, it should be there. I will be canceling my membership, but conveniently they don't allow this option on the app and I will have to contact them directly to cancel.

Unfortunately, that location was damaged as part of the severe storms/tornados that hit Dallas on October 20, 2019. Thankfully, Cryo1one has multiple locations throughout the Dallas area which has allowed me to continue my sessions without interruption. I had always wanted to try cryo but never made it a priority. That all changed in June 2019 when Cryo1one Cryo1one did a few small demos at the CycleBar studio I go to. Along with the demos they also held a drawing to win three complimentary sessions. As someone who never wins anything, I filled out the form and did not think much else about it. As fate would have it, a few days later I received an email informing me that I was the winner of the three session. My initial thought was "lucky me" but then I remembered that I really wanted to try it, so I scheduled and completed my first session shortly after receiving the email notification. Now, cryo is an integral part of my health and fitness journey, and I regret I did not take the plunge sooner. As for this specific location, I am unsure why it never made my list as it is actually more conveniently located than my preferred location. Like the other locations, there are two cryotherapy chambers and trust me, they get as cold as the other locations. One thing I have observed and appreciate about this location is they are more active in the local community. For example, they were open on Thanksgiving to support the recovery needs of those who ran the Dallas Turkey Trot. On another occasion they extended their hours to support the recovery needs of those running the marathon. On this particular day they partnered with other local businesses and provided much need hydration and nutritional items for those who scheduled sessions. Consistent with the other two locations, the staff here is super friendly and very professional. From my experience, level of community within this location exceeds that of the other locations. The interaction between staff and members as well the interaction among members is great; there is a sense of extended family here. So much so this could easily become my preferred location. The one thing that would prevent that is the parking situation which is completely out of the control of Cryo1one. This Cryo1one shares a parking small parking lot with several other businesses including a UPS Store. Depending on the day and time, it can be difficult to enter the lot as well as finding an open spot. Because of this, I tend to schedule appointments at this location for times when the parking is less congested. If you are wondering if cryotherapy is for you; I will paraphrase George Clinton in the song "P. Funk": "...if you got faults, defects or shortcomings, you know, like arthritis, rheumatism or migraines, whatever part of your body it is..." cryotherapy will likely help it and Cryo1one should be on your list.
