I recently used Bob Hoegler as the plumber in my kitchen renovation project. He did a wonderful…read morejob and everything was working in a few hours. He is now my new plumber. Here is why We were renovating our kitchen, I get home around 4:00pm and the cabinet installer tells me we need to move the gas connection a few inches because it was too close to the edge of the cabinet. This needed to happen ASAP so I called a plumbing company that I have used in the past (large one for the central NJ area) and they informed me that the soonest they could come to give me an estimate was in two days and the work could be done the following week. I could not wait that long so I started looking for local plumbers that could do it sooner. Using my computer, I got some plumbers numbers & started making calls to see if they could help me. When I got to Bob the person on the phone told me that she would have Bob call me in a few minutes. He called I explained my situation and the urgency of getting this done ASAP. Bob and his men where at my house 2 hours later and moved the gas line on the spot. My project was not delayed due to his help. When I needed the rest of the installation to be finished I call Bob again & he got all my appliances hooked up and running. Bob Hoegler is my new plumber & I highly recommend his company.

When I tried to go in the settings it required a passcode. Crystal Air was the company that installed the system so I reached out to see if there is a master code the system starts with in order to set the schedule. Instead of letting me know the typical master codes to test they sent TWO people out to input the original code the system came with. I received a charge of $330. This was a feature I could have lived without. I just wanted to see if they had a code I could put in so I could put the schedule in myself. When I called to ask about the bill, the woman at the front desk told me the owner would give me a call (never heard from him). I'm beyond frustrated being stuck with a bill like this. I figured since they installed the system they would know the original code and be able to help without sending two people and charge a bunch.

I looked for cleaning help for my father who is in his late 60's and lives alone, and also works…read morefull time. Although he picks up after himself, like anyone in his situation it got to a point where he could benefit from help. There are certain detail tasks like dusting, baseboards, scrubbing the bathroom, and vacuuming under furniture, that can create a less-than-ideal environment if they build up. I came to visit from out of state and realized that it would be better if someone could help. That said, my father was hesitant about having strangers in his home -- it was more important than anything else for me to find a cleaning service that was bonded and insured (if anything broke, and/or if someone got hurt, it was important for the cleaning company to have all responsibility, not my father). Shore Clean fit the bill as a bonded and insured company, who had that in writing. Before deciding which service to use, I researched all the cleaning agencies around where he lives (Central NJ) by checking every review site, and I also looked at their websites to learn more about their services in detail. Shore Clean seemed to include some tasks in their services that others did not, and also they seemed to have just about 100% positive, detailed feedback on every site. Then I called and talked with the owner, Bill. Their prices were fair compared with anyone else considering the number of hours and workers they sent. The owner also preferred to send a manager the first time with a new client at a new house. It was easy to book the appointment -- he called me back personally within an hour or so of my message, and I had a quote in front of me shortly after that, and we scheduled for two days later. He answered all my questions. Now onto the cleaning. The two very polite and hardworking young women stayed beyond the expected time (without additional cost) to make sure everything was perfect. I have never, ever, ever seen my father's house so sparkling. You should have seen his facial expression. They cleaned better than I could have. Every single detail from top to bottom was cleaned. Every nook and cranny. I asked for the extra "fridge cleaning" and the inside of his fridge was not only sparkling but organized (well worth it). As one example of what they did, I never thought it was possible for the toilet and bathtub to look white instead of having a tint to them on the inside. Both looked white like new when the cleaners were done. Every major piece of the house was thoroughly cleaned: unreachable tops of furniture dusted, crevices between furniture, everything. Also literally every picture frame, collectible, and item was dusted. I was amazed. It was like a new house. I can't even describe how every centimeter of the house was cleaned. It's obvious that having a clean home will improve the quality of my father's life. My next task is to set up regular cleanings. I'm grateful for the amazing job that Shore Clean did and I would recommend them to anyone for the high quality and professionalism of their service.

I'm not saying the house wasn't 50-60% cleaner, because technically it was. I'm not saying I lied about how dirty it was to begin with, I specially said the word "filthy" when requesting a quote. What I am saying is I told everyone at the company I spoke to that I understand it's a big job and I am happy to pay more to have cleaners stay longer and get this job done so I don't have to stress it. Here I am stressing it. There is literally nothing in the house but walls and floors, no furniture and no carpet, yet somehow they didn't have time to clean the hardware on cabinet fronts or even clean inside the cabinets themselves. Or the light fixtures, or the face plates on half the light switches and electrical outlets or the big clumps of dust and dog hair hanging off the edges of the cabinet bases. In summation! No I'm not satisfied, no I would not recommend and no I definitely won't use them again.

Not only did I get…read morethe worst possible stove to heat my house, but when I complained that it didn't even heat the room it was in, the owner got extremely nasty and condescending. I had an old stove that heated the entire house and was assured this one would do the same, if not better. After installation, looking through the manual supplied to me, it said the stove was only meant to heat the room it was in!!! I told him I was preparing to heat my house USING ONLY THE WOOD STOVE, as I believe gas may skyrocket in price. He told me that he had a restraining order against him, and I should have listened to my gut instinct. The conversations I had with this person were all in front of cameras around my house, so I can verify that every word I say is true (if I need to, I have a habit of forgetting to turn them off in the morning). When he refused to take the extremely undersized stove back, "Leave the door open, and just don't tell anyone I said that." Then, on the phone, I had a conversation. He got extremely condescending, and my heart started racing from a verbal attack I started to shake. It is my opinion that you shouldn't let this man anywhere near your wife or children. He said I do not need permits, and I should not have listened. I will go to the town next week and ask for assistance in this matter. I am buying the proper-sized stove from another company and selling this stove. I will see what they have to say about this situation. Also, since there is so much evidence, the story will be told in a documentary about companies putting profits before people. I bought the heavy-duty fire insert to prepare to heat the house only using the stove, and a repair needed to be done. The new company told me it would cost me twice as much because it should have been done at the time of the installation. So they didn't get that right either. They tried to blame me, saying I sent them info on a stove I was looking at and they went by that. I was researching and checking options when I called them and they said Send us what you are looking at and did not know a thing about new stoves. it was a research stage. They are the experts, not me. I was relying on their expertise which is why I called them. He said this stove is as good if not better; it is on tape. The manual clearly stated the opposite.

CRIMINAL- DO NOT TRUST BOB…read more I trusted Bob to do a job and make sure he was not going to rip off my mother who was recently widowed and looking for help. Bob saw an opportunity to take advantage of a woman who knew nothing about plumbing and charged her 1,000 and never fixed the issue. Instead he "spent all day" at her residence and replaced a toilet she never even needed. I tried to call him back to get him to fix the problem but he has been avoiding our phone calls. Unfortunately, we will more than likely have to go to small claims court. It is sad that there are people in this world like Bob who look to take advantage of people.
