Gnocchi in vodka sauce (not dressed)

Chef Paul was an excellent chef and instructor for our merry band of attendees. There were approx. 12 of us, and it was a very hands on class, not just observation. We prepared Caesar salad with the best freshly made dressing, gnocchi with a vodka sauce, and fresh made raspberry sorbet. My husband never thought he liked vodka sauce, he just hadn't had a good one until this class! We were able to take the recipes home with us to attempt at home with our new skills and knowledge. And yes, we did learn many techniques and reasons for performing certain steps in the each process/recipe. We are looking at another class when we return to NY from FL.

Amazing space for an event. The chefs are all incredible and the food was delicious. And so fun. Strongly recommend for a class or big or small event.

I had been to one of Miette's classes some ten years ago when my mother was in town. I remembered it fondly enough that when my husband was open to doing a class (big win!), I thought this would be the perfect place. We opted for the Sunday French Country cooking class. Two people cancelled last minute and we were lucky enough to have the class with just 4 of us. Chef Paul was a true delight who took time and patience to explain his technique and skill. He made sure that the students made everything with 'Love & Passion.' We had such a great time, we even forgot to take pictures until we got to the dessert. It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to take another class.

Head chef was hilarious and super patient with beginner cooks. We made a big meal with leftovers, and he even taught us how to make the proper scrambled egg which wasn't a part of the course. Such a great first cooking class experience.

My friend treated me to this for my birthday a few years ago. Perfect, unique gift. We took the dim sum cooking class. Our instructor was adorable, outgoing and fun. The studio space was really cozy and quaint. It was a nice size group probably about 15 of us total. The presentation of the table was pleasing and, I walked away with the cucumber lemon water idea from this place. Learned how to make; egg rolls, dumplings, congee rice porridge (ick-wasn't a fan of this), chicken buns, potstickers all from scratch. It was hands on and everyone got to try making something. I had never done anything like this before and must say, it was a lot of fun! We each received a packet with recipes. Sadly, I haven't made anything from scratch since it's so much easier to just order dim sum out, but still, a lot of fun!

This was a fun night! We have our 22 yo daughter a gift of a culinary studio night with friends and I got invited! Cooked the meal Chef Paul. Little pastries (boucherons sp?), Hen with sautéed kale, truffle mashed potatoes and chocolate lava cake with homemade ice cream. Then we ate! Great space. Great company. Great food. Thank you Chef Paul, Theo and Jeffrey.

I booked a class for myself and my 8 year old daughter. It was absolutely perfect and really surpassed my expectations. My daughter is passionate about cooking so we've tried out a few of the kids cooking classes in the city, but they are geared towards children (of course), and always left her wanting a little bit more. Chef paul was able to incorporate her into the all adult class seamlessly. He offered true instruction and we left there feeling like we had really learned something. The food was so delicious and the experience is one that we will never forget. Thank you chef Paul

Attended last night and woke up this morning thinking it was a dream. The entire experience was so great. We met a bunch of great peeps and learned so much. It was a surprise holiday gift for my wife and we plan on going back soon. Do not hesitate to check it out. Food was amazing, clean studio and great atmosphere. Chef was so great and informative - learned so much.

We started by learning how to make Chicken Marsala, then moved into pasta making (my favorite part). After that, we learned how to make fresh mozzarella, and finally ended the night with dessert: tiramisu. The entire experience was so fun and interactive. I especially appreciated how knowledgeable Chef Alex was about everything we were making. When I asked about the type of pan she was using and why, she gave such a detailed and thoughtful explanation, which I really appreciated. By then, we had definitely worked up an appetite! We started dinner with a delicious salad and focaccia bread, followed by pesto fettuccine made from the pasta we created ourselves. Then came Chicken Marsala with mushrooms, and ricotta-stuffed ravioli in red sauce, also handmade by us. One of the best parts of the night was the atmosphere. Cooking, eating, and learning alongside people you've never met before somehow felt so natural and welcoming. You genuinely leave feeling like you made new friends. If I had one honest critique, I do wish there had been more opportunity to personally season some of the dishes to taste, as I felt parts of the meal were a little bland for my preference. I also personally prefer softer pasta over a firmer al dente texture. That said, I completely understood why the pasta had that texture since we didn't have much time for the dough to fully rest and develop. I also think some light Italian jazz music playing in the background would have elevated the atmosphere even more and really taken the experience to another level. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would absolutely take another class. It's definitely worth it for the experience, the knowledge you gain, and of course... dinner! Also, we got home (with our left overs) and finally had the tiramisu... and WOW. It was soooo delicious. The ravioli and tiramisu were definitely the stars of the show for me!

When signing us up, I mentioned in a note that her dream is to become a chef. The class included seven or eight adults and us, and Chef Paul went out of his way to make her feel welcome. He took her under his wing, showing her basic techniques and treating her aspirations with such respect that she felt truly seen and encouraged. We arrived early, and Chef Paul shared that he began cooking in a professional kitchen around the same age as my niece, then apprenticed under a famous chef in Paris at 15. He later became the head chef of two restaurants before opening his own culinary studio. The class focused on French cooking and included a four-course meal. I loved that it was small and intimate--just 10 people--compared to other classes I found that had 16 to 20 participants. Although we worked in groups of four to prepare each dish, Chef Paul brought everyone together where he demonstrated key steps across all the courses--techniques that many cooks get wrong--and showed us how to do them for the best results. He even provided special recipes for us to take home and ensured that each student got hands-on experience with parts of multiple dishes. It truly felt like a shared and collaborative learning experience. By the end of the three-hour class, our class of nine or ten had shared a delicious meal and great conversation. My niece was absolutely thrilled and left even more inspired to pursue her dream. If you have a child who loves cooking, I can't recommend Chef Paul highly enough. He even offers children's group classes upon request. Thank you, Chef Paul, for such a warm, generous, and unforgettable experience!

John provided a lot of information not just on specific dishes we cooked, but also on Thai cuisine fundamentals, ingredients, and main tastes. We ended up with a plentiful freshly made Thai dinner consisting of Tom Yum soup with Shrimp, Fried Fish in Tamarind sauce, Thai Red Curry Chicken, and sticky rice.
