We originally decided to give this place a chance to support local mom and pop shops, but were unpleasantly swindled by the such. Upon installation of our shades, we were not able to open our French doors more than 14 inches!! In addition, their response was "do you want them to look good, or work?" They admitted to "thinking" that this was going to be a problem, but gave no warning OR resolution. I honestly couldn't believe my ears. For a professional shop that seems to be family owned, this is DEFINITELY not their passion. They are only in to make the biggest, quick buck possible. I think of them every day that I attempt to squeeze out on to my balcony. By the way, they charged $4000 for 11 windows. 4 of which are the above mentioned French doors that don't open because of the valance design. 3 more of which were installed crooked or hit the track when raising and lowering. So, overall, great job on 4 total windows! Try 3 day blinds or home depot if you are in the market. Shop around and be smart because this place is an example of how they will take advantage of you.

Went to the Vertical Blinds Factory and was waited on right away by Sal. Sal knew immediately what I needed and sold me my replacement brackets. I was in & out of the store in 5 minutes. When repairs needed to be made, they were done so in a modicum of time and expense, if there was any. Just recently we had a big problem with our 4 10 year old duo-lite shades for the bedroom. We sent him pictures of the issue we were having and he immediately sent them on to Hunter Douglas with explanation and within a short period got back to me to let me know they agreed to replace them at no cost, and asked that I come in to choose new ones from the 2025 book.

I have been putting off changing my window treatments for a good 2 years. It was put off for so long because I couldn't decide what I wanted. Jim showed me something that reminded me of Roman shades. The pleats were much smaller than what I had seen in the past. I like the fact that they can be pulled down from the top, halfway all the way. They can be pulled up from the bottom, halfway all the way. Or they can go halfway up, halfway down and meet in the middle. One problem is they show you a small sample to look at . You have to try to figure out if you like the color and style.. Then you look at your window and decide. I think that's pretty typical. Thank goodness that I love what I chose. They came in when I was told that they would. I received multiple calls updating me on your arrival. Once they came in, I had to finish getting the area ready for the shades. The installer came within the allotted time. Micah? was pleasant, quick and helpful. There was no mess when they were installed. I am going to live with them for a while to see how well I like them. If I continue to be happy with them, then I will go ahead and order another one for my front windows. Jim was available should I have any problem in the process. I highly recommend DC.
