Although the owner, Steve, did not sell me the product and had no reason to help me, he worked with me and went to the dealer with my story. After countless months of troubleshooting a difficult problem, he got me a brand new shade and motor from the dealer AT NO COST to me. The pricing felt inconsistent and difficult to follow. Just noting discounts applied. To what? From where? A concern as well was a $695 "packaging and handling" fee, which seemed unusually high and was never clearly explained. I reached out multiple times--called, texted, and spoke with customer service--asking for a detailed breakdown. Customer service said they couldn't explain the pricing beyond what I already saw, and the sales associate referred me back to the contract & design consultant without providing clarification. Despite my questions still being unresolved, I was contacted by an installer to schedule installation, which felt rushed given I didn't fully understand the charges.
