I have great vision, but I just felt it was important to have a doctor who knows me, who has my chart on file, and can check every year to see how I'm doing. I spend a lot of time on my computer, so it was really good advice to get some blue lenses. They have really helped my eyes to be less tired during the day. I do notice a difference, like today I forgot to wear them and I am totally over it by this point. I had a great experience from making the appointment, getting checked in, talking with Dr. Greenhaw, and getting my new glasses. The staff did a great job getting to the bottom of some weirdness with my insurance, and did it in a fast and friendly way (friendly to me as well as the folks on the other end of the line, which you love to see). I hope you guys are taking care of yourselves and your eyes. As I tell my kids, we only get two and we have to take care of them! Thank you Dr. G and your excellent staff. I will SEE you next year! This morning I was diagnosed with shingles on my face, and my doctor wanted me to see an…read moreoptometrist right away to make sure it hadn't spread to my eyes. After leaving the office, I started calling around trying to find someone who could see me the same day. After a bit of a hunt, I found Oklahoma City Vision. The receptionist was super nice and told me to just come on in since I was already nearby instead of waiting an hour and a half for my appointment time. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away. Both receptionists were so friendly, and I was called back about 10 minutes after checking in. The tech who helped me was amazing--so kind, knowledgeable, and familiar with autoimmune conditions. She took her time going through my medical history and made me feel really comfortable. After she finished, I only waited a few minutes before Dr. Pitts came in. He was so patient, kind, and detail-oriented. I've been getting annual eye exams for over 30+ years, and I've never had a doctor be so thorough or explain things in such detail. Usually, I get my exam, grab my prescription, and leave--but this visit was completely different. Right away, Dr. Pitts noticed I had severe dry eyes and actually took the time to talk through past treatments and new options besides just eye drops (which never seem to be covered by insurance anyway!). I had no idea there were other treatments available, so that was a really pleasant surprise. Thankfully, the shingles hadn't spread to my eyes, so I decided to go ahead and do my regular exam. Dr. Pitts showed me the images of my eyes and explained everything so clearly. I told him I hate driving at night because I can't see well, and he figured out it was because of my previous prescription! He explained exactly what needed to be fixed. I couldn't remember what vision insurance I had, and I planned on paying out of pocket. I told the tech this as well. She started naming vision insurance one name sounded familiar VSP. While helping me with contact lenses, she took it upon herself to check my insurance and found that I actually had VSP coverage. That ended up saving me about $250! She definitely didn't have to do that, but it meant so much. Overall, I was so impressed and grateful that they fit me in last-minute and still gave me such a thorough, unhurried exam. Dr. Pitts and his team were wonderful from start to finish. I left there understanding more about my eyes than I ever have before. I also left with a week's worth of trial contacts, and my vision already feels so much better! I'm actually excited to go back next week for my recheck, dry eye treatment, and to pick out some new glasses.

He…read moreis extremely friendly, personable, and down-to-Earth, and I thought the prescription I was using from my previous optometrist was good, but with Dr. Smith's adjustments, I'm seeing even better! The office went above & beyond for me, even accommodating requests related to my epilepsy. I unfortunately had a seizure a short time after my eye appointment, which meant when they called to tell me that my contacts had arrived, I wouldn't be able to drive to go pick them up. OK law says you can't drive until you're 6 months seizure free, and I don't have family here that could have gotten them for me. When I communicated this with them, they went out of their way to mail me a trial pair so that I would not have to use Uber or Lyft, and then when I liked them, they mailed my year supply quickly after! The only thing unpleasant you might experience is the agony of choosing between which amazing frames you want, and in which color. They have a wonderful selection of trendy & classic frames, with more than decent pricing & options for every budget.

I've worn glasses and contact lenses for 25+ years (I'm not old just worn glasses since elementary school...lol). When I called for an appt the staff I spoke with was friendly and quick to get me a spot that fit my schedule. I like that Dr. McBride sees patients later in the evening (I had a 5:30pm appt). I was seen promptly at my appt time and the staff is very organized. Dr. McBride was very courteous and formal (rather old school), he has a quiet bedside manner but he got my prescription dead on! Based on my ins. (VSP) his prices are extremely reasonable! For what I paid in Calif. just for glasses I got glasses AND 6 months of contacts (I didn't get generic frames either...designer name brand). He has a great selection of frames for men, women and children. I'm very happy I found Dr. McBride and have already recommended him to several people!

I dealt with wearing not the right prescription for years until we came to Dr. Warren. She immediately addressed that they do have contacts that work for me and now I can actually SEE! Absolutely life changing. The whole staff was super nice to my daughters (4 and 7 years old) through their exam and helped find glasses that they loved. So thankful for this place! We live 2 hours away and happily make the drive to come here!

Not only is Dr Warren great, so are the two ladies that work for her. Your always greeted with a smiling face and a kind Hello. Feel like these days you have a primary Dr and each visit is like it's the first time they are seeing you. Dr. Warren is far from that! She pulls up the images and goes over them with you. Lets you know what was going on last time vs this time. If your trying something for the first time and it's not for you just let her know. She will keep working until she find what works for you. Example: My new bifocal contact lenses. Definitely would recommend her and her staff to anyone.
