I love trying new places. I love it even more when those new places feel like I've been there before when I first walk in. But, let's rewind a bit... My four year old needed his eyes checked for a couple of reasons. He was complaining of them bothering him and blinking a lot. My sweet husband became concerned one day and off the cuff called up to The Eye Experience to get them checked out. He liked that it was closer to us than other places and also that it was new. We were able to get him in rather quickly. My husband took him and came back really impressed with how much time Dr. Patel spent on our son and how thorough he was. He has to have glasses, and the business being new didn't have the frames I wanted for him (flex frames, the boy is a walking tornado sometimes) so they ordered several so we will have some in a few days. Fast forward to today... On hearing how impressed my husband was, I knew I needed to get in to see Dr. Patel. I have an autoimmune issue and it effects my eyes so I need someone who actually cares, who is thorough and understands that I'm not just a typical eye exam. I was so pleased with my visit!! I have never been through the visual tests that I went through today during a checkup. I was able to see the pictures he took of my eye and see how some of the anatomy works. How interesting! He spent time with me and answered any questions I had and I learned a couple of new things about Crohn's and it's effect on the eye. Side note: Crohn's sucks. It's pretty much the Devil. He also asked about my son. He remembered details about him and asked some follow up questions regarding his visit. He told me, " I don't like to take chances with kids. The decisions I make today, will affect them the rest of their lives." I love that a Dr. cares that much. Let me not forget to mention Valerie. She's his assistant and is amazing. I haven't laughed that much at a Dr's Office, well, ever. She is so sweet. She is a big part of why I enjoyed today's visit so much. I really feel like I found my forever Optometrist. ***"Also! This Friday January 6 th, they are having a grand opening. I was told there was a trunk sale and some frames are 40% off!! I love a sale, especially if it's something I truly need.*** Do yourself a solid and go see Dr. Patel of you need an Optometrist. read more

I would not recommend this place. I would of had a better and cheaper experience at eye mart. I paid out of pocket for everything as I had no insurance. I was treated like I didn't have any money but spent $700 total on the whole deal. This "doctor" was a total asshole. My pupillary distance was measured but when my glasses came in it's like they didn't adjust them at all and they did not fit my face at all and he acted like it was a total inconvenience to adjust them for me. read more

These people are a joke. The receptionist sounds like a teeny bopper that doesn't care about her job, let alone your vision health. I set an appointment the previous Thursday, only to get a call on Monday (the day of my appointment) telling me about all the additional fees that I'd be charged. In addition, there was an admin issue with my eye med account and the receptionist gave the "too bad so sad" approach. I literally picked up the phone and called another eye doctor and they walked me through the process to fix the issue. The Eye Experience was an absolute let down. Their reviews on here clearly do not tell the story of what they are all about. Zero customer service with a "take it or leave it" mentality. Buyer beware! read more

Top notch facility and personnel. I cannot stress enough how well they treated me and my kids. Also, after they found out that my wife and I are Veterans they thanked us for our service and gave us an amazing deal on both our appointments and the glasses we purchased. It would be utterly impossible for me to truly express how fantastic this place is. Dr. Patel will be the optometrist for my family as long as he is practicing. Thank you for everything. read more

I had a great experience at the Eye Experience! Dr. Patel was very knowledgeable and thorough with my eye exam. I usually hate going to the optometrist, but this was probably one of the best visits I've ever had. He took the time to explain the best contacts and glasses for me and even helped me compare them to styles I like. He answered questions I had about LASIK and PRK surgery by informing me about the pros and cons of both types, even explaining a new experimental surgery. Dr. Patel clearly stays current with new research and literature in the field of optometry. His staff is great as well! Overall excellent visit. read more

Horrible experience! It took 29 days after my eye exam to get my glasses! When I received them, I had paid extra for gemstones on my sunglass clips, they did not have the gemstones. The office would not refund me for this mistake. The entire office staff was very rude and broke my son's glasses when he went for his fitting. They are way overpriced and charged $2400 for a family of four to get glasses. This was the price after Insurance paid. We will never go back. read more

Hello All, My girlfriend and I located this optometrist through google reviews. We decided to schedule an appointment for her eye exam. From the moment we entered The Eye Experience, we were immediately warm welcomed by the Optometrist Pritesh Patel himself and his assistant Valerie. A decent sized practice with professional eye care services. Patel was very professional, courteous, thorough, with his services. Valerie scheduled a follow up appointment to pick up prescribed specs and contacts and to double make sure it is what we ordered and liked. The Eye Experience also has a wide variety of frame selections including name brand. No need to go anywhere else. One Stop Shop! I would greatly recommend this optometrist to ALL! read more

My experience went well during my initial visit. I was scheduled to go back this year for my annual exam. They called to cancel on me twice, the second time just a few hours before my appointment when I'd already taken off of work. I called back a few minutes after they'd left me a voicemail to see if I could go ahead and come in early to prevent cancelation and only got their voicemail. I called back today (a week later) after not hearing back from them to try and reschedule and was given very little flexibility with scheduling. Due to the difficulty scheduling and being canceled on repeatedly and at the last minute, I've moved on another optometrist. read more
