I typically get…read morechecked annually, but after a previous experience where the cost was insanely high compared to my typical eye doctor visit, I was not sure where to go. I found Eyecare Boulevard on my insurance website (EyeMed, for those with the same!), and saw they were well-reviewed on Google, and easy to get to. I had an early-morning appointment between Christmas and New Years, and there was plenty of parking, and they were open even before their usual hours! I went in and was immediately helped and taken back by the owner/optometrist. She was thorough, but didn't waste time. I felt like she answered any questions I had, and did a very thorough check of my eyes. She also is using more advanced machinery than I've seen in most small eye doctor's offices, and it was impressive in a good way. No puff of air for me, which was awesome! I didn't end up needing new lenses, which is a huge thing for me, but I wanted a pair of prescription sunglasses. They gave me several options that would allow for a cheaper pair, but I wanted a new frame too, and the lovely front desk associate/assistant/receptionist was fantastic in helping me pick out a pair of frames. Even better? A brand new pair of prescription sunglasses, plus the appointment, came to only $165 (approx). Compared to the last place I went, where a similar appointment cost almost $450/500, I was over the moon. I scared the poor woman at the front desk, as she thought I was upset with the cost. Rather, I was thrilled. They carry beautiful and still affordable frames, and make seeing the eye doctor a simple and pleasant experience. If anyone asks where to go, I'll be sending them here!

The test were far more thorough than any I've ever seen before, and Dr Ross took the time to explain the results completely, and in language I could understand. I learned more about my eyes in one visit than in the previous 50 years. My wife has been a patient of Dr Ross for many years and now I understand why. Simply the best in town, bar none.

Get a bill several months later for $100 because the Dr/staff coded the routine visit as dry eyes visit. After multiple phones calls to get the correct code on the chart. No solution. That's what the Dr said per the staff. So we are in the search for a new place to check on the eyes. No different than a routine Dr visit with primary care and they ask you about your heart you mention your heart races when you go upstairs -It doesn't become a specialized visit and coded as a heart cardiologist visit . I can't believe they get away with things like this. Hopefully nobody else gets robbed by this clinic. Sad that's how they do "business" Respectfully an angered decent insurance holder. Your meds are filled before you make it home from the dr. you have got to try the lidocaine cream relief. It is beyond amazing! My girlfriends tried their sleeping meds or Cream & I forgot to try it. they do soo much more than just feel your meds. they make HAND SANITIZER TOO!!! they treat you like family & they truly go above and beyond. I've moved my parents and grandmothers meds there.
