Finally charged me for the wrong glasses it's no big deal they're very busy. But I don't like is that I had to come back four times to get it straightened out over 2 days. I went in and picked out frames while the associate researched my insurance. They couldn't find it , but offered a discount with a free basic pair. I picked out more frames and returned to her station. (They we're extremely busy and like everyone else short staffed.) I waited for a while and tried to look at my vision insurance again. I had issues as well, got really hot(unseasonably warm day). I decided to go home to call the insurance company. I ended up going somewhere else for the glasses, but my husband had a good experience a few months before. read more

It's my second time coming here for glasses and the service/staff is very helpful. Today the staff member who helped me was Leigh she was very nice and I told her I had 2 coupons and wasn't sure if I can use them. She gladly looked at my coupons and advised me on how they can be used if I wanted to use both of them at the same time. I'm really glad they are taking precautions during the covid-19 situation. They are requiring you to use a mask the staff themselves are using them as well. They squirt hand sanitizer in your hand when you come in to look at frames and tell you if you touch glasses your interested in to not put them back on the rack and put them in a basket they give you at the beginning. The staff lady leigh told me that they do take them to the back and clean and sanitize them before putting them back on the racks. Although their internet was down in the morning when I went they called me when it was back up so I can return to pay since I didnt have cash on me. read more

I went in and asked where are the glasses for bigger heads and Leigh showed me all the rows and section to choose from . I felt guilty for the 10 or 12 glasses I tried on and had to put in a plastic crate for them to sterilize later on. But after FaceTime with my wife , we had agreed on what looks best on me. I noticed Leigh (didn't know her name at the time ) cleaning a station and asked , I wonder what do I do now? She said set down right here and I will help you. I observed someone who is very professional, caring , and great under pressure. As she was winning me over by her great demeanor the phone would ring and she answered it. Listening to only her side of the conversation to a customer that should know you need a prescription that isn't over a year old to get glasses. She was very nice and took the time to tell her there is a optometrist next door and even gave the number to them for her. She took 3 more calls from the time I was with her, all similar in nature in terms of Leigh's actions. Also a customer came in the door and stood at the cleaning station . Leigh noticed him and asked him what he needed. The man told her and she said to me , do you mind if I help him it won't take a minute? I said sure , as I remember sometimes I was that guy that just needed something quick and had to wait 20 minutes for it . Anyway I had forgot I was wanting to look at prescription sun glasses and Leigh showed me some . I asked if she would tell me if they looked all right one and she said yes I will but I have to tell you I'm going to be honest with you. I said thank you I wouldn't expect anything else. I put on a pair and looked in the mirror and immediately hated them , I turned to Leigh and she squished her nose and said no . Then she found a pair and told me to try on and they looked good in the mirror to me so I turned to Leigh and she said those are perfect! So I had a pair of glasses (the frames) that were broke , she checked they were still in warranty so I put my new prescription in those glasses, bought the new glasses my wife liked and also bought the sunglasses that Leigh and I liked. Also this has never happened before but she turned her computer towards me and explained everything, my order, the price , and when they would be ready. I forgot to mention during the measuring and talking about all the different features I wanted on my glasses she noticed how scratched my old glasses were and asked how I cleaned them. She squished her nose again when I told her . And she promptly educated me on the microfiber cleaning cloth with their spray bottle. I never knew about any of that stuff until I met Leigh . I was hoping that I would get e- mail from eye mart to fill out a survey and never got one . So that's why I'm writing this today on yelp. You know when you have a great experience with something and you can remember her name and all the nuances of her job that you witnessed and her professional approach to her job! read more

Hubby has 1st prescription for glasses. Has been buying reading glasses from WalMart, Sam's, Target and any place he's at that has them for cheap. His eye doc told him that each eye has a different sight. This being his 1st time he wanted to go cheap in case it doesn't work he wouldn't be out $$. Nice little store. Has more selection than I thought seeing the size of the center it's in. Don't take your big vehicle as the parking lot is cramped and full during business hours. Greeted almost immediately by Kallie who explained the 2 pair for 39.95. Apparently, we didn't understand or missed the fine print in the discussion as that price is only for frames under $20, which left out the $40 & $50 frames he had picked out. Found 2 pair of $20 frames and got down to business. Kallie did the paperwork, explained that he would probably have to file his insurance himself as the insurance he has isn't one they work with. As it was late on a Saturday, they couldn't get his glasses done that day, but by lunch time on Monday. Hubby went after work on Monday, picked up his glasses, tried them on at the store and found that 1 pair of lenses was not working as well as the other. Clerk said they're the same as the 1st pair, but for some reason it's not as clear as the 1st pair. Clerk took them to check the prescription and reported that it's the same as the 1st. Not sure why if they're the same script, one would work and one wouldn't. They give you, I think a 30 day trial and then you can go to your eye doctor if the glasses aren't working for you in case they've changed in the month since you got your prescription. So you're out the price of a doctor's visit, the cost of eye glasses and then another doctor's visit to get the lenses checked for correctness. Hubby not happy, but glad he's only out $40. I have a feeling that he won't be going back to Eyemart Express as he's not one to give a business a second chance. I wear no line bifocals and go elsewhere for my eyewear, but I did like the set up of having access to all the frames available on the wall and we were also invited to check the drawers under the display for more frames. read more

I like this company. They take care of your need for glasses or contacts and don't rob you in the process. I have had to take advantage of their insurance on eyewear and have found this coupled with an affordable price upfront to be of extreme value. Scratch 'em or break 'em and they will fix you up. I have compared the service they offer with VSP vision insurance and have found on an annual basis for this to be a better deal by far. Good luck. read more

Went to the Eyemart Express at 5801 N May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK for the first time and had a great experience! The technician that helped me was Chaz and though he knew I was only getting a pair of glasses that cost $19.95 total with an online coupon, I was treated like I was spending $500. He was extremely friendly and professional. The service was fantastic! A different optical shop had told me that since I didn't get my exam from them, there would be a $30 charge to measure my pupilary distance. My exam didn't come from Eyemart Express, but they didn't charge me anything for doing this measurement. I didn't expect much of a selection of frames for $20 glasses, but they had plenty of choices and I got the exact style of frames I was looking for. And the biggest surprise was that my glasses were made in just 25 minutes!!! I had been using a different discount optical shop for more than 20 years and only went to Eyemart Express today because it was in a convenient area of town. But now there is no reason to go anywhere else. read more

This is the worst experience I have had in the 35 plus years of wearing glasses. After my 5th trip to the store to get my glasses I am 100% dissatisfied with my purchase. During the first attempt to pick up the glasses the person adjusting them broke the frame. I was then told by them that if "they would have helped me they would have never put me in the frames that I had because they were to big". After having to wait another 7 days for my glasses I pick them up and the lenses are cut wrong and loose in the frame. I have yet again returned to the store to have them remade yet again. I went to pick them up tonight and they are obviously not right, extremely think and I paid the extra cost for the thin lenses. I requested a refund and was informed that a check would need to be mailed due to the credit card not being present. After the countless issues I find this to be completely unacceptable. If I am not give a full refund for the glasses with or without the card present we will be filing a dispute on the charge and you can deal with it that way. Sincerely, David Ball read more

OMG I had, like, the greatest experience in customer service with Brandon that I have ever had ever anywhere else. Like, whenever I told him I was ballin' on a budget, he really took the time to figure out what suits my needs the best. The store was very clean and the employees were extremely professional without feeling like I'm talking to a robot. Melanie, the sales manager, is the absolute best best best!!! Her staff is also wonderful - helpful, attentive, friendly and concerned!! I had had cataract surgery on both eyes and had both lenses changed, one after my first surgery, then the other after the second surgery. Then I received a temporary prescription from my doctor that I took to the Midwest City Store for a new set of glasses that I knew would probably have to have new lenses with a final prescription in about a month. I had no problems with paying full price and I opted for the second costliest lenses. THEN, I was told that I couldn't get them for 3 days as their lens cutting machine was broken. They referred me to this Eyemart Store. Melanie who didn't know yet that I had been referred to her store told me it would be 3 days rather than same day service because the Midwest City store was sending all their orders to her store because her lens cutting machine was operational. OMG, why would the other store send me to the store that was picking up the slack and knowing full well my wait time would be at least the same if not longer, not knowing what the workload for the S Santa Fe store was! Melanie was very understanding about my frustration and did the right thing. Since all the orders from the other store had a 3 day delivery time on them already, she accommodated me with same day service. Then, after I received my final prescription, I went back to her, got the new lenses within a few hours (awesome), but unfortunately the prescription was not correct, so between her & the Lab manager, we went back to the prior prescription. I have since gone to a different doctor who gave me a new prescription, this time for lined bifocals instead of progressives. Melanie has been a jewel again! She is honoring my request for just generic bifocals with no added improvements so that I can decide if lined bifocals are suitable to my eyesight problems or a need for additional surgeries.
