The amount you will pay is ridiculous, they will charge you for a phone call, for a doctors note to your work or school, be inflexible with appointment changes...and they have your card on file so they will charge at will. Not to mention he doesn't listen to his patients very well or believe them. You'll notice him diagnosing the same things, over and over with no proof. Adrenal fatigue. Thyroid issues. Blah blah. Specifically, i used to see him but he only wanted to sell me supplements from his personal web store. He told me not to buy them anywhere else because his were "better". I found another doc. Fast forward several years, my wife kept going to see him. He ordered a "natural" med for a condition that her bloodwork said she didn't need. He insisted that she needed this med. They ordered it for her that day, without asking, and It was pricey. When she started taking the med she had a serious side effect that he denied was from the med. Every phone call he returned about the side effect, simple questions like "should I stop taking the med? Is this normal?" he charged $190. Each. For a quick phone call. We're about $1000 in and my wife's health got worse and needs other medical follow up, which we're looking for elsewhere. He reached out after she complained about the charges and threatened to leave, he said the charges were a mistake but I'm not confident that's true. I'm a holistic kind of guy, this doctor is not what he appears.

I was sold after my first appointment. If you live in the St. Peters/O'Fallon area, this is your guy. If you live downtown, this is still your guy. I swear he's worth the drive. I've never had a doctor pay more attention to what I'm telling him and genuinely care about what it is that I'm saying... and that's priceless. He's also a pretty funny guy who tries to be "hip" to what's going on in the world and strikes up the funniest conversations! Dr. McIntosh is thorough and knowledgeable, and he'll get you back up and running in no time. I've seen him for typical stuff such as allergies and colds, and he makes great recommendations and always gives me tips that help me feel ten times better. I even had to call the after-hours line once with a bad sinus infection (sure he appreciated that one) and he was still as caring and attentive even though I was bugging him late at night. What puts him above all others is how he follows up and doesn't give up until you've fixed whatever the problem is. For myself, the allergy queen, he prescribed a medicine and a nose spray and had me check in with him 7 days later via the phone, and we spoke that often until he had me on a plan that was working wonders. Looks like I'll be driving that 45 minutes next time I need him!

Dr. McIntosh has been my primary care doctor for over a decade. He is very personable and has an excellent bedside manner. He has seen me through quite a few health issues and always pops through when I've been admitted to the hospital. We don't have all the answers for my health problems but I can't say he doesn't LISTEN to every single one of them. He orders tests and refers me to specialists when needed. I've never felt misunderstood or dismissed which is not something I can say for many many specialists I've seen. To be fair, Auto Immune diseases are notoriously difficult to diagnose but I can confidently say Dr. McIntosh is doing everything he can to help me get answers. I would send anyone I know to see him without reservation. *Read up on Celiac Disease, doc! The amount of misinformation from medical professionals on this is criminal and a huge disservice to those who have it. Effects from celiac damage can spill over into almost every other part of your body. Celiac is for life and a negative blood test/scope (after a positive one) means you're doing well GF. it does NOT mean Celiac went away and you can eat what you wish! Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk (which I shockingly have to give to almost every doctor I've seen.)

This review is regarding the Chesterfield, MO location at Kers Mill and Clarkson. I'm on Medicare,…read moreso I can go anywhere I want... I looked at going to St Lukes Urgent Care, because my primary Doctor works at St. Lukes. The reviews were TERRIBLE.. Then TAUC popped up as an option for an Urgent Care, and since they just finished this new location in the last year or less, I read their reviews. All the reviews for TAUC were really good. I called them, and in 30 minutes I was there, filled out my paperwork, and was in a waiting room getting my blood pressure, oxygen levels and had a very very thorough EMT worker asking me lots of questions. The great part is I could call and give them a heads up and reserve a time to be seen. Shout out to JOSH. The receptionist was also very friendly, so shout out to Heather. I didn't have anything life threatening, but it could of possibly lead into that. What I thought was a fever blister, ended up being a very deep tissue skin infection, which, may I add, hurt like crazy in my nose, and my nose was throbbing, and red and very very painful. I saw Dr. Sparks. From the moment she walked in the room, with her assistant, who was taking notes, I felt like I was in very good hands. I was given 3 RXs to fight the infection and also got my flu shot while there. She was very very good and professional and diagnosed the problem.. On top of my rave reviews for the personnel including the half dozen or more people working behind the sceen, the place was spotless... I think you could of eaten off the floor. Also, I thought it was great that the examination rooms had television with a family type movie showing.. What better way to set a childs mind at ease.. Another plus to this location..They have their own Pharmacy, so you can get your RX's filled there if you so choose, but they don't limit you to doing that. It's very easy to get in and out of the parking lot also. One entrance on Kers Mill and one on Clarkson. 5 Stars is the rating I gave but actually, they get 10 stars. To be able to get in and see a DR...,( not that CVS clinic isn't a good place to go, ) was truly benefical. Also, lot of examinating rooms. I was in room 13! The also have the ability to do xrays there also. If anything..I would totally recommend going to this location in place of an ER, unless you were under life threatening conditons and needed a surgery room! Thank you also, because when I got there, my blood pressure was pretty elevated. After 2 shots, and 2 blood pressure checks, the second check came in noticable less! Woohoo! I will absolutely go back even if for just a flu shot again next year.

If you have a health issue that conventional medicine has not helped, I encourage you to see Dr…read more Davis. Through the treatment I receive from Dr. Davis my immune system has significantly improved. I have more energy and feel better than I have in years! Dr. Davis was passionate about finding the best treatment options for me and was refreshingly patient as she took time to explain conditions, physiology and treatments in terms that were relatable. I have referred family and friends to Dr. Davis and everyone who has followed through is glad they did. Nita D

Dr Davis is THE cutting edge of medicine in St Louis and probably the entire country. She is…read moresuccessfully treating our son's autism but she can help with all chronic conditions and diseases. If you're tired of the incompetence, cluelessness, and YET arrogance of traditional medicine, you'll love Dr Davis. Though Dr Davis is a skilled MD, she realizes that traditional medicine doesn't have all the answers. Like most truly brilliant people, Dr Davis has a thirst for knowledge and is extremely humble. Dr Davis goes way beyond your symptoms to find the root cause of your medical problem. Then, whenever possible, treats you with natural supplements to get your bodies systems working correctly again. It's a very interesting dichotomy in that her diagnostic methods and tools are cutting edge (practically futuristic), but her treatment is as natural and pure as possible. Dr Davis knows, from first-hand experience the toxic burdens most of our bodies labor under. She knows treating with synthetic drugs often does more harm than good. Unfortunately compared to Dr Davis, the vast majority of MDs are absolutely shooting in the dark in their diagnosis due to antiquated methods and naive "down-in-the weeds", micro-level view of our incredibly complex bodies with a focus on trying to fix SYMPTOMS using dangerous synthetic drugs with side effects and that tax our organs. We are EXTREMELY fortunate to have Dr Amy Davis right here in St Louis. She is literally pioneering a new, more effective, branch of medicine. If I'm in an accident and bleeding to death I'll go to a traditional MD, but for any chronic condition or disease (even cancer), I'll go to Dr Davis.
