The only service I got was a massage and I didn't get a robe while I waited. This was my only compliant. It seemed to take away from the "spa experience". However, my massage was amazing! One of the best I've ever received. I don't believe that massage therapist is there anymore. So when I went this time I was so excited and figured their services could have only improved since the last time. We arrived and had a very warm and friendly greeting from the front desk. She took us to a small dressing area and told us we could put robes on and store our items in lockers. This dressing area wasn't much of a spa feeling, more like a dressing room in a department store. We waited in the waiting area for our services to start and were given a refreshing cup of lemon water. The waiting area is nice and relaxing but a bit close to the front of the spa. We were taken back to our services and I received a facial first. I was told it included microdermabrasion and a chemical peel. I opted out of the chemical peel. The facial started and besides the microdermabrasion it didn't seem like much. She finished with a mask and told me she would be back in 10 minutes. It felt more like 20. I started getting hot from the bed warmer and was ready to be out of that room. Not exactly how you want to feel when you are getting a facial. I then received my massage. The massage therapist talked a lot during my massage. I really really hate it when massage therapists talk during the massage! She was ok, but seemed to do more rubbing of my skin than massaging of my muscles. If I wouldn't have had the package given to me as a gift, I probably would have been upset to pay for these services. Next was the manicure and pedicure. It was probably the fastest manicure pedicure I'd ever received and was already chipped by that afternoon. Definitely not a SPA mani pedi. More like a mini mani pedi! I have to say the entire staff at a true spa is very nice and accommodating and we did have a completely relaxing and fun spa day. I do like the atmosphere of the spa and it's very clean, new, and has a relaxing feel to it. We were given as many drinks as we wanted which was also very nice! They had champagne, red, and white wine. Overall, the spa is a good experience, just not the best spa services I've ever had, but I guess it could all depend on the staff member you get!

But the massage was HORRIBLE! I even paid more to get a deep tissue massage but she did not put any pressure! I ended up asking her for more pressure but did not get any! I was highly disappointed especially since that was the part that I was looking forward to the most. The "touch up" ended up being a lot of makeup and I ended up wiping most of it off when I got in the car. Overall, everyone was really nice but that is not the reason I had gone there. I will not be going back.

I do NOT recommend Dr Prada or his staff to anyone!…read more My good friend was just robbed of $15,000+ by Dr Prada, citing a clause in her contract that should the 'patient must cancel surgery after the preopertive visit, fees are non refundable.' I drove my good friend to her surgery that morning and I can tell you all with 100% certainty that Mercy cancelled the surgery after my good friend was already in preop. Update: Mercy AND the anesthesiologist have refunded my good friends money. Why hasn't Dr Prada? Heck, Dr Prada even consoled my good friend as she was getting released from preop. So what will it be, Dr Prada? Lawyers making you pay damages AND the refund by order of the court or simply refund my good friend's $15,000 she is owed by you? A lawsuit against you Dr Prada is in the works. Shame on you, Dr Prada, for preying upon your patients. It's sickening what you have done.

Dr Lund is an excellent, very knowledgeable and experienced surgeon. His staff and nurse Andrea are just on top of it. Very professional staff which gives you so much confidence. I am also was extremely happy with Des Peres surgical facility. My nurse was very attentive and was offering socks and new warm blankets constantly which I really appreciate because I was a little nervous. Anesthesiologist was very knowledgeable and super nice explaining whole process to me. I wish I could done it earlier. I am insanely happy right now because I love how my whole body looks with this change. I can wear clothes that I never even was considering trying on in the past.

For my money, I don't think anything compares to a professional massage…read more I had just gotten over a serious illness... bronchitis. I thought for sure, I was going to die. The week after, I committed to getting myself healthy. I needed a serious detox... including a juice cleanse and a full body massage. It was going to be my first massage, I knew it would be amazing, but I was still nervous. My massage therapist was really calming (kinda like my OB/GYN- no joke!!). She talked me through everything and informed me that if I was still sick, at all, it was a terrible idea to get a massage. Apparently, when you are rubbing your muscles, especially if you've never had a pro massage before, all sorts of toxins are being released. It totally makes sense, if you think about it. Toxins get absorbed into your blood and those crazy things are coursing through your entire body and getting settled in where they can. Heavy! I had, however, completed my regimen of antibiotics and had gone to work (waiting tables) so I felt comfortable enough that the sickness was out of my body and that the massage would enable me to flush out the yucky residues that all of those drugs (syzzurp) had left behind. I was right! So she set me up in the room and discussed my level of comfort. Can she touch me there? Do I need to wear a bra? etc etc. Now, I've nude-modeled for figure drawing classes before, there's no shame in my 200-lb game. So I let it all hang out. (Sorry for ya). She turned down the lights and put on some comforting muzak and commenced the rub down. It was amazing. Sadly, all I could think about was the toxins being released from my muscles....I mean, my brain didn't stop working at all! I felt like such an idiot because I couldn't simply clear my mind! Next time, I'm going to drink a Sleepy-Time tea or have some Calms Forte (homeopathic anti-anxiety supplement). I highly recommend you do too. The hour flew by so quickly. When the massage was over, I felt a little light-headed and just wanted to lie down. I followed her directions and drank a cart load of water and ate a super healthy lunch afterwards. Make sure you do both, as you need to flush out said toxins. That afternoon, I felt exhausted and had to take a two hour nap! The massage is seriously therapeutic BUT hard (and good) on your body!! The next day, my shoulders were a little tender to the touch but I felt soooo good. The one hour massage is a game-changer and definitely crucial to EVERYONE. I highly recommend going at least 4x a year. SO worth it.
