While on the more expensive side of facials available in the St. Louis area, I definitely feel like the level of service was worth the price ($150 for Avani's essentials facial). The facial lasted almost 70 minutes and included a microderbrasion, intense eye treatment, a few extractions, dermaplane (so the airbrush makeup would look better) and many lotions, creams, and potions. I had been expecting to also complete a glycolic peel but I was told that I now had excema on my face, so that plan was scrapped. Instead I ended up with a long-lasting gel on my face to intensely moisturize my face. There was a short shoulder/upper arm massage toward the end of the facial as well. The facial itself was very relaxing and my skin was still soft and moisturized a week later!
